HiOn my Macbook pro from 2011 with El Capitan I have been notified on e.g. YouTube that my flash player needs to be updated. I only have the Safari browser installedWhen I try to install it, it comes with this error message:I have also tried running a "Clean Install" and checked my Plug-ins, Library folder etc. for anything Flash-related before reinstalling. Even after uninstalling and deleting all files, rebooting etc. it won't let me reinstall Flash...Hope someone can help in here.Best, Rikke (Denmark)

I can type foreign language characters in LibreOffice. I have the same problem in the offline version of the application which uses Adobe AIR. This works fine on a Mac.I realized I see the fonts in Chrome but not in Firefox. This seems to happen only with Indian languages.Flash application doesn't show fonts:Here is a link to the application: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/editor
I have flash enabled, and I have checked to make sure that the browser has it enabled numerous times, however when I go to any website that uses Flash, it tells me that I need to enable/upgrade my Flash. I went to adobe.com and checked the status of my Flash and it says that it is disabled, but I have it enabled in the web browser settings
Flash install is freezing Safari and I cannot quit the browser so I have to force restart my machine. This has happened several times. Too many frequent updates that have obviously not been fully tested for compatibility.
I am using Windows 10 on a fairly new Dell desktop. If I enable Flash, Windows Edge becomes unusable because of excessive Flash use of CPU time. If I disable Flash the problem goes away, however I can't use content requiring Flash. I've run virus scans, did a clean boot and searched the Internet for answers with no luck. Anybody have any suggestions.
Hi, I tried to find solution in other threads and internet search. I have done so many things. This is at least my third attempt of multple hours, installing and uninstalling, deleting cookies, restarting, attemtting to delete directories/caches...I unstalled shockwave director...thinking maybe that was causing some conflict. I do not it in disabled files later (if I even sound rmotely like I know what I am talking about- I don't- I've just tried to follow multiple steps).Currently, if I unstall, it says it's uninstalled-- it asks me for my main computer password. if I try to download another copy, it downloads, i click on install icon and it bounces... it never opens, it never gives me an error message, it never asks for my password (main computer).I appreciate any advice that might work. Thanks,Ann
My flash player is turned on, but when I try to play a movie it says that its disabled. I recently upgraded to Edge.
I am running windows 10 an videos will not open on facebook but they play on you tube. When I check player it says it is either disabled or not installed. player is showing enabled in manage add ons and active x filtering is unchecked in safety. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.
alright so i downloaded flash and tried to make sure everything went smoothly. My only problem is I'm trying to use the open location thing option to open up a site through flash, and when i copy/paste an internet link into the URL box and hit open, it shows the address but the screen is blank. I'm using a mac and am confused on how this works.
I'm not a techy type so forgive my layman description of the problem please. My Flash Player is really slowing down my computer, sometimes to the point where it just freezes. I uninstalled it and then re-installed it but that hasn't made any difference. It works a lot better if I use Firefox instead of Chrome as a browser which suggests the issue might be with Chrome......but I always use Chrome and I am very familiar with it and this is a recent phenomena. I recently received a spam email that attempted to get me to update my Flash Player and this would seem to be the root cause. I have since swept the PC for virus and the check came back clear. Also did a system reboot scan and nothing. I then uninstalled Chrome and re-installed but again, no difference.I'd rather fix the issue than switch to Firefox full-time. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Am a sysadmin in an org. Devices are Windows 10 computers, on a domain. Use IE and Firefox browsers. The issue I am having is with the Flash NPAPI 22.0.0.209 msi. We deploy through gpo, got say Flash msi before this one was the easiest gpo I had to do. Issue began when I set up the gpo and tested it, I set it to remove the previous Flash and deploy the new one, as usual. Usually there are no issues with this, I did not even have a test gpo for Flash prior to this. The GPO failed, flash did not install. the gpo however did remove the previous Flash, 22.0.0.192. On my testing computers (logged in as domain admin) I attempt to manually install the 209 Flash. It brings up a message stating Flash requires admin privileges. I have tried to install from the file server and from the local drive. All fails with same message. I then tried installing it through the local admin account off the local drive. This succeeds. I uninstall Flash, reboot. Then retry it with my domain admin account still a
I don't know in fact how to start a new thread with my issue. So i am posting my problem with flash player. Before the latest version 22.... of flash and latest version of ff 47.0.1 had been installed in my system...everything was smooth and fine...Can't blame my s/w or h/w because they meet the requirement for both of the latest version of flash as well as firefox.Every time Adobe flash gets crashed ...i do send a report...and nothing better happens...since the last week flash is crashing every time I try to run a video.I tried all possible solutions...even added a bug on adobe site (unanswered till date)....flash add on is always activehardware acceleration disabledlatest versions of flash (22) and firefox (47.0.1) installed fresh after low level disk format and re installation of OS win xp sp3well... i didn't miss the possibility and probability of incompatibility of older h/w or s/w supporting 32 bit system....so, i tried older version of firefox with older version of adobe flash to
Using Windows 10 Home ver 1511, 64 bit, Firefox 47.0.1, Flash 21.0.0.242, Norton 360 Premier ver 22.7.0.76Upon installing version 22.0.0.209 it downloads exe file and tries to install, but returns an Application Initialization Error message. Checked firewall - OK. Checked Firefox - plugin enabled. Disabled Norton Identity Safe - same result. Disabled AdBlock - same result.Downloaded offline version - same result. Checked forums - no additional ideas.Other solutions please?
I just want to apologize to everybody for "crashing their party" as it goes. With that said here's my problem - complete with illustrations:My computer is Windows Vista and I browse with Firefox 48.0b7; for the past 72 hours or so I've been trying to install Flash 22 and the picture tell the whole story.
Hello,I have a desktop PC running Windows XP SP3. The Adobe Flash Player for the Mozilla Firefox (version:47.0.1) latest version is outdated. I have downloaded the Adobe Flash Player (version:22.0.0.209) file from this page:Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions and I have also followed all the instructions referred to this page:Flash Player Help but I still have a problem. I save the file in the 'Downloads' folder, I double-click on it and then I press 'Run'. The attached screenshot shows the window which appears just after I have pressed 'Run'. I have been waiting for hours to see if something will change but unfortunately nothing has changed. The windows has remained open for many hours when I decided to close it. I have tried many times to update it but I still face exactly the same problem. I'm looking forward for your response.
I don't know what is going on but I cannot install a free flash player by adobe. have been trying for 2 days and I am really frustrated!
Hi, I am using OS X version 10.11.5 w/Safari v9.1.1 (11601.6.17). I'm on day 3 of being prompted to download flash player update. The version of the update is the same, v22.0.0.209, and the exact same size of 773kb. I apply the update, in a few hours I'm prompted to do it again. I have used the "Update Now" button on the notification as well as trying to do the update from Adobe.com itself. They all show "Installation completed" with the green checkmark. Safari's Security settings have "Allow" for Flash. This is very frustrating. My downloads folder is filling up with incremental versions of this same download (AdobeFlashPlayer_22_a_install.dmg, AdobeFlashPlayer_22_a_install-2.dmg, etc. Plus AdobeFlashPlayer_22ppau_a_install.dmg.) Please advice how I can fix this. Thanks.
Hello,I have repeatedly had to download Adobe Flash 11 onto my computer. For some reason it does not want to "stick". Also sometimes when I am downloading it will tell me that I haven't shut down IE and it cannot continue until I do, even though I have shut it down. What gives? Why do I have to keep downloading this product?
Adobe: FIX IT.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has been going on over a year... no excuses.
Adobe won't provide support for this free program, but I can't get in to install an update and without the update, flash player doesn't play. I can get into Adobe.com with my name & password, but NOT INTO FLASH PLAYER. Please help.
This happens about 20 minutes after I start up my computer. Facebook freezes and displays "A plugin (shockwave flash) isn't responding. YouTube page loads but video can't play even though the video plays. Other websites that use flash cease to work also ex: http://minecraftgamesplay.org/mc-games/block-slitherio-game . The same is for all three browsers (chrome, firefox, internet edge) The weird thing is, if I restart my computer, it will all be fine again, and then flash player breaks again after 20-30 minutes. Even Spotify stops working, the song won't play and I can't change the song. Websites that use flash and spotify work for 20-30 minutes and then they encounter problems after that, causing me to restart my computer again. This started to happen after I downloaded Windows 10. I have tried: - Installing new display driver - Installing new sound driver - Clear flash cache - Reinstalling flash player v18 - Ran a full malwarebytes scan Since spotify also stops working at the same as
Hi I'm trying to download flash player on my Mac and I keep getting the message 413 Header Length too LargeCan anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks heaps
I have been trying to play games on facebook and keep getting the message that I need to have newest version of flash player. Every time I attempt to install it I get a window saying flash player is already installed with windows 10, but when I click the "test" button I get message that it is either not installed or not enabled. When I go to the window to enable it it says it is already enabled. No matter what I try I keep going around in circles with no solutions and it still won't let me install/download flash player at all. Please help if you can.
