Hi. i usually use the direct installer to download Flash Player to my computer as suggested by Mods here, since it's won't install on my computer from the main site. But for some reason today when i go to direct install Flash Player it downloads but after it's finished the files won't open.Does anyone know what this could be because i've had problems with other files not opening on my computer. I've recently had a virus problem and the last time i had one of those certain program files stopped opening for me so perhaps it's related even thought i've use this computer since the virus without any problem .I'm using FireFox run on Windows XP 32 bit.

We have program we use for training purposes for employees. We do not want the employees to be able to use the right mouse button as this allows them to fast forward the video. The video is an embedded video. Since we have 100's of videos and cannot implement this inside each file, how would we go about disabling for all flash videos?Thanks in advance!!

I have MacBook Pro with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and in the last couple of days my mac freezes whenever i open any window that runs flash player.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall again, but the result is same.  I also try to update my OS with the new OS X El Capitan and as soon as it starts, the Mac again freezes.  The only option to resume is to hard reboot the system.  Can anyone help to recover my problem.

PepperFlash runs for me in Chrome, but half of the video screen is blurred---as if it takes the video input for the center pixel line and treats that as the input for every pixel column to the right of center.  The left half of the video screen plays just fine.  This problem manifests for me on most flash sites.  Facebook, Netflix, HBOGO, etc.  See attached image below.I've taken the basic steps suggested by Adobe: cleared the cache, reinstalled Chrome, closed other programs.  None help.Running Windows 10, and the most up-to-date version of Chrome (and hence PepperFlash).The problem started after upgrading to Windows 10, so I suspect that's the culprit, but I've not seen any indication of a similar problem here in the forums.Flash runs fine in IE, but of course that's a different beast...Any suggestions on what to do?

I also have exactly the same issues. In an effort to defeat it I'm now running four browsers - chrome, firefox, IE and Edge, and all of them are doing this. It's unpredictable and infuriating.Please advise.And a question - why is this thread marked 'assumed  answered' when clearly it has not been resolved?

I'm extensively using an analytic panel offered by one of my company's business partners. It's based on Flash technology.My problem is that I have a 4K/UHD monitor and the font in the application is always the same and way too small - I can't figure out how to change it (and if it's possible). It's readable when on Full HD resolution but with my monitor's native resolution you'd need a magnifying glass to see anything.Is there any way to make the font bigger?

Hello ,i got a Problem with my Adobe Flash and Internet Exporer 11.When i visit the Flash about Website from Adobe to test my flashplayer ( Adobe - Flash Player ) it tells me i dont have the addon installed.But when i go to systemsettings in Windows and Flash . it tells me i have the Version 20.0.0.228. My system says I have Flash Player version 19.0.0.245 and directs me to install the latest version 20.0.0.228. When I follow the steps, it tells me I already have the latest version and gives me the message 'Flash Player is integrated with Internet Explorer in Windows 8.You do not need to install Flash Player'.It's sending me in circles! Can't access websites. HELP!

Is this how Adobe helps Flash users to keep up to date?  It is forcing home users with multiple machines (and/or browser platforms) to go through the tedious Adobe Downloader process on each one of them. But no money in freeware, right? And it increases the chance of undesirable bloatware coming along for the ride if we forget to uncheck those boxes before downloading the downloader.If the automatic updater was effective in ensuring prompt updating of Flash when a new security update becomes available, it wouldn't matter but the automatic updater sometimes takes several days leaving users vulnerable to Flash exploits for an unconscionable time.Adobe high-ups are clearly not in touch with reality.  Flash is NOT freeware.  Flash is the necessary means of viewing the content of providers who have paid Adobe handsomely for its Flash authoring tools.  No Flash player, no need for Adobe Flash authoring tools.

I recently received an email from Adobe stating the distribution page was changing.  So I followed the instructions and created an Adobe ID, verified my email and I thought everything was fine.  I click the link provided in the email to get to the distribution page that states it will be live on Dec 8th and it just keeps coming up with the info page and no links to download the files like the old pages.  My license is current just reapplied in Sept of this year.  So I will just use the old pages but I want to make sure to get this working before those links a decommissioned.

I am trying to view photos or videos through chrome but it says I must download flash (which I have done a million times) when I go to download it yet again, it says it is already installed but may be disabled. When I follow how to enable it, the option is not there to enable Flash. Help.

I am doing a e-learning course, where the individual lessons are presented in Flash.I am using Firefox 42.0 on a Windows XPSP3 pc, and the Flash version Firefox uses, is the latest , 20.0.0.235.My problem is that the lessons do not show. I see that my browser contacts the server, that information is downloaded, but nothing shows.I also have a Firefox extension, IE tab, which allows me to display content within Firefox using the Internet Explorer engine. The IE engine using their latest Flash version, 20.0.0.228.When I use the IE engivne to display the pages from my e-learning site, all content is shown correctly,. The url of the e-learniong page is 5 Tilleggsmodul but that is most likely not going to be of any help, as the site is password protected.Can I downgrade the Flash-player version that is used in Firefox to the one that is used within the IE-engine? Is it possible that a 236-version could contain the same functionality that has disappeared in the transition between 228 to 235?

Why does Flash Player stop working after restarting the computer? I have to download Flash Player several times a day. Is Norton causing this? When I re-download, I get a message that I don't have sufficient user privileges, but it fixes the problem, anyway!

The link below, under Version Information, shows Flash Player is out of date (20,0,0,228) Update now. It does this for Internet Explorer, Opera, and Chrome. Both my Windows 7, and 8.1 with its Windows Flash Update do this. However when I check Firefox which was updated to version 20.0.0.235, it does not show it's out of date. Adobe - Flash Player
