Fresco

Hi I recently purchase a new iPad Pro 13” and a new model Apple Pencil Pro  to go with it. I bought both to use with Adobe Fresco, which I had been using with my 2016 iPad Pro and 1st gen Apple Pencil for some time, but while the new Pencil Pro can use the brushes in the app, the new functions are not working, ie squeezing the pencil to see menu on screen, rolling the pencil barrel to change the brush tip angle etc.Should the Apple Pencil Pro be fully functional with Adobe Fresco, or do the new functions not operate with Fresco? If someone could confirm I would very much appreciate it, because Apple say it is a third party app, so I need to check with the developer first. Hoping someone out there can give me some direction here, because at present I seem to have spent more than £1400 upgrading my equipment with no discernible benefit. Thanks in advance. Regards Alan

i don't why i haven't thought of this before, but is there a way to "snap" a shape to align to touch the edge of another shape for example? i.e say i have drawn a box, then want one of my captured shapes to align with the edges of the box, no overlap over the box edge or slight gap inside edge of the box where they don't align touch to exact edge. etc 🙂 cheers.

Hi everyone, I'm new to fresco, and one thing I can't understand is, when I use pixel brushes, and I need to zoom the drawing for the details like face, eyes, hands, hair etc.. It has a "pixeled" texture that really bothers me,, I was wondering if it's my device, or it's just designed to draw "big" or "less detailed" illustrations (if it makes sense). It doesn't happen with vector ones, I use pixel brushes cause there is the mixing brushes pack, if vector brushes also have a mixing pack please send it to me so I can use those instead.Thank you y'all in advance🫶🏻 

I've tried downloading Adobe Fresco to my laptop, but it's not working. It keeps saying stuff like: "missing x files, try reinstalling to fix the issue", and when I reinstall it, it keeps having the same issue. I've tried downloading it from different OFFICIAL sources, but I've had no luck with either the Microsoft Store page, nor the Adobe website. And I'm pretty sure it's not my laptop that's the problem since it's fairly new and has the latest Microsoft updates.  There's a video of me trying to download Adobe Fresco attached to this message. It's probably better at showing you what's the problem then I am at explaining it, so please give it a watch! Someone please help! I really would like to get back to drawing as soon as possible!

I just opened fresco and saw that whenever i drew the brush would make an odd distortion.I dont know what could be causing this. Can anyone help me with this? 

Hello, I've been using Fresco on a 6th gen iPad iOS 17. When I first downloaded it I added a few brush sets with no problem. Lately I wanted to add Summer 2021 and Spring 2022 and it says adding in progress but never starts downloading. I have a fast connection so I'm not sure what's going on. Anyone else having that problem? I've added some Photoshop sets from my collection but I can't add any Fresco ones.

hello, i love being able to draw vector lines on my phone, however my lines come out too shaky. on illustrator ipad  there is a setting where lines are cleaned up after drawing. how can i accomplish this on fresco mobile ? thank you so much !

Dear friends,I want to import a picture into Fresco.The import works almost properly. But Fresco tries to adjust the format to the chosen canvas size.I would like to keep the proportions of the original pic.Do you know any help for me?I haven´t found any solution in the standard help files from Adobe.The pic is jpg file. Please let me tell you, that I am very new to Fresco and to Adobe in general. (At least, I haven´t practised much, yet).Thanks for your support.Matthias

The Symbol always goes wild when I'm using the app, what can I do? Restarting the app doesn't work either.

Either I'm just poopoo brain an couldn't find an answer on google because of my, or they made it so you couldn't use the motion animation tool on a group of layers. Now at first this might not seem that big of a deal, but with things like needing to animate the color an lineart separately seems a bit confusing to me, of course in a project that has such. I thought this small animation tool would be useful for small movement in character or background art for convince of having a program that you can make fully fledged pice of artwork in, with the bonus to make it move a bit. I was originally going to use this for a project that requires animated sprites, since Fresco is my main art tool, and saw this feature as an easy way to animate the things in it right after drawing it.        Again could just be missing something here, but I tried all other options that I could think of and even ran some tests to see that it was infact the groups that was the problem.

I have a vector file I've created in Illustrator, and I'd like to add some hand-drawn elements to it in Fresco. How do I open it as a vector in Fresco? Is there another format I should save to?

Hello. I was working on an animation, and I decided to go and save my work so far. Little did I know the pain that I would have to experience for the tenth time. After I hit the button to save, I was prompted with this error: "File failed to save, please try again." And when I would hit retry, Fresco would instantly close. When I would go to re-open to app, I would recieve to option to send s crash report. After getting past that, I would go to open back up my file to continue working. But when I tried to click on it, I would be given this, painful, message. "File failed to open as PSD." This error gives me very little options. But, thankfully I could just export as a PSD and then import that file, right? WRONG. After trying to import that file, I am prompted with another, torturous message. "ERROR: Failed to import file into Fresco." So, now, as a last resort, I am turning to you; oh great Adobe gods, please help me to recover my animation before I stick my phone into a

I haven't got Fresco yet but was wondering if it is possible to have multiple colors on a brush just like you would in real life painting?

Hello, I have a problem which concerns the reaction time of the line between the moment when I draw with my style and the moment when the line is formed. Before there was a little time which allowed me to have less sensitivity in my line and therefore a sharper line and there the line is made at the same time as I draw so it takes into account all the tremors. I can't find the old setting, is it due to the software or my tablet? I'm lost...

Hallo Community.Ich habe die Lizenzvereinbarungen und die Hilfeseiten von Adobe durchforstet und bin grad so schlau wie vorher.Schließe ich ein Abo für Fresco ab, habe ich Zugriff auf Premiumschriften von Fonts. Diese dürfte ich auch kommerziell verwenden.Derzeit verwende ich Fresco in der Freeversion. Diese reicht mir momentan auch vollkommen. Wie sieht es denn aber mit den dort eingebetteten Schriften aus? Dürfen die auch kommerziell genutzt werden? Meiner Meinung nach ja, wenn ich die Lizenzvereinbarungen richtig gelesen habe.Was meint ihr?Vielen Dank vorab für eure Hilfe.LG Nela

Hello, I'm contacting you because I've noticed a new bug on Fresco.It's about the keyframes.I notice that sometimes my images disappear from the thumbnails (as in the example in the attachment).And when I want to duplicate an image (in this case number 38), it duplicates the next one (in this case 39).I also notice that the file takes a long time to load.I've applied the file several times, copied the layers to a new document... but the problem persists.I've noticed several bugs in Fresco over time.It's becoming increasingly complicated to use this software....  

Good morning. Lately I've been having problems with sync in Creative Cloud. First of all, I can't open my files saved in the cloud. They are all in .PSDC but for some reason Adobe Fresco cannot open them. Is like this format isn't compatible but I don't understad why a program save automatically files in a format that cannot open it. This have never happened to me before. Besides this, now the files doesn't sync in the cloud and when I try to a save a copy and recover it, it give me an error saying that it cannot save a copy and of course I can't open it. So I don't know what is happening, this is a problem for me because I have files to finish for this week  and idk why is happening. I'll wait an answer and thanks in advance.

Hi,  I am currently in free trial phase of Fresco yearly p'an but want to upgrade to Fresco with PS for iOS. Will that kill free trial period?

After 3 hours I closed the ipad cover and went to make coffee. On return found the portrait mode has changed to landscape. This happens annoyingly routinely, so I exited and re-opened. All the layers are blank. Closed and reopened - nothing recovered.Went to cloud and took an older version that looked ok on thumbscale but all the layers are blank. Version 5.6.0 

Is there an easy way to identify an item when you're not sure what layer it was drawn on?  I'm new to the program and come from a drafting software background where you could simply point to an item on the screen and it would immediately i.d. the layer that it was drawn on.

Hi all, I had quite a few drawings (25+) in one of my folders on my Fresco mobile app. I merely renamed the folder... And all the files inside disappeared. The folder now said "this folder is empty".How can I retrieve all those files and why do they disappear when I rename the folder? Is it because I don't pay for a plan and am using it for free? Urgently need help!

Hi, I'm new to digital art and design and I've just bought a Wacom One to go with the Fresco app just to teach myself and start digital artwork.  I've just tried using it for the first time today and it just won't work. The app keeps crashing when I try to change the brush sizes. I saw the post on here about turning off the in-game overlay so tried that and restarted my PC and nothing. It all looks up to date so I can't work it out.  I know absolutely nothing about PC's, so any responses please keep as simple as possible! I have an OCHW Seven RGB PC (AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 4.4Ghz 12 Threads ATI Radeon HD Graphics USB 3.0 960GB SSD 32GB DDR4 Wifi Windows 11 Pro)  Thank you!!
