It's 2025 and Ae still doesn't have basic spell check functionality - Adobe please make this a top priority. It's embarrassing that we still don't have such a basic and important feature in the program.I can confidently speak on behalf of countless professional artists and editors that this is needed and many awkward mistakes could have been easilty fixed without this. No one ever wants to have to explain to a client that "sorry that mistake went unnoticed in the edit, my professional motion design tool doesn't have spell check"(it's quite ironic that when writing this forum post I discovered that even this Adobe community page doesn't have spell check when writing a forum post...)
It may not be feasible (at least for now) to add Liquify to Photoshop on the iPad, but how about Transform> Warp as a workaround? (Being able to manipulate an image using Liquify — or Warp — is a basic image editing feature.)
I am a university teacher which uses Illustrator for live lectures, where I scribble and draw a lot of graphics and formulas (I teach physics). Illustrator provides me with an excellent tool for the job, as I can mix graphics and images to create very effective slides live, while talking to the student. To achieve better communication, I uses different colors to identify different part of the equations and drawings (e.g. forces, speeds, etc...). It would make it much easier if it were possible to program the stylus button to cycle trough a programmable set of colors, or tools, or brushes. This would allow, for example, to preset a palette of colors, as well as a set of tools like select, brush, line, and circle, covering the entire need for a lesson, making them accessible by simply pushing on the pen buttons. Ideally, side button would cycle one set (e.g. colors), and the top button the other set (e.g. tools). But this is just an example, the idea could cover many more scenarios. This should be a first step, with a circular menu appearing as a more evolved option. Illustrator is an excellent software, yet the support for pen working is still limited.
https://helpx.adobe.com/substance-3d-designer/interface/preferences-window/version-control.html#setup-p4It seem that the current version control actions all rely on calling the P4.exe through subprocess, why not use the official p4python api?The path that one is expected to make edits to would likely at many studios require admin to come and help as users are not always admin of the machine. And the install location will for windows at least be Readonly.
Please add interactive background blur so objects can blur content behind them without duplicating layers, masks and hacks. Essential for glassmorphism, UI overlays, modern design. Similar to Figma.
Please create and post documentation as to the new community interface status, and timeline of future modifications and fixes. Also include bug status. Let the community know what is occurring, what is known as issues, what is being fixed, and what is being changed/added, with timelines. Also, perhaps in the posting, include community input into a centralized post.
I have a large number of files in my Audition project, and waste time searching for the clip or music piece that I want to use. I am wondering if Adobe might add a feature where users could create "bins" or folders within the files panel where we could sort our files into sub-categories (e.g. music, bridges, dialogue clips by speaker, etc.)
Please add folders in the “Files” tab (similarily to Premiere Pro), so that we can group files and the list does not take much space (currently if the list of files takes the whole space vertically, we’re unable to drag and drop more files)
Hi,It would be handy to be able to copy and paste attributes to specific colour labels.I create interviews with B roll, from static to on road. I colour label the various segments as it helps me to negotiate around the project. If I could copy the attibutes from one colour labeled clip and assign that attribute to all others of that same colour, that would be handy.Cheers.
In Premiere Pro 26.0, the “Gaussian Blur” Effect has changed the name of its main blur amount property from “Blurriness” (PP 25) to “Amount” (PP 26).While I understand this Effect seems to have received an overall improvement with other properties also added, breaking changes like this put extension developers in a whack-a-mole scenario trying to catch things that might inexplicably break without warning. So the request is just: please avoid changes like these that create these breaking changes for extension developers, or offer backwards compatibility where possible.Thank you 🙏
Please add wheel zoom and grab to move navigation for Boards. Navigating boards is very cumbersome and difficiult to do . Adding the aility to click a mouse wheel and move the mouse to move around the board as well as the ability to use a mouse wheel to zoom in and out of boards. This will greatly improve the usability of boards and allow for fast and more nimble navigation for large boards. Also would
I’d love to see Premiere’s text-based editing come to the mobile app in a fashion similar to CapCut’s. As someone who is constantly recording interviews/stream-of-consciousness speech in the field for social media (where I can’t reasonably transition the edit to a desktop/laptop), it’s a terrific way to both clean up the automatic transcript and create a more concise/compelling package quickly.
CURRENT WORKFLOW:I add extended markers on my clips while logging footage to mark sound bites, good sections of a long broll clip, etc... To do this I play the clip and add an In point at the start of a soundbite/broll section, play until the end of the bite or broll. My range is marked. I look at the duration of the In/Out and make a note of it. Then I hit the keyboard shortcuts to Go to In, Add Marker (twice, to open the marker box), Alt+Tab to go to the Duration box in the marker window, type the duration I noted from my In/Out points, then Tab again to add notes in the Name box of the marker window. Finally, I hit Return to close the marker box and go back to logging my clip. THE PROBLEM:This is a very convoluted workflow with a lot of keypresses (about 8-10 keypresses). It is workable, but it would be ideal if the process were streamlined. See feature request below. FEATURE REQUEST:Add a keyboard shortcut option to Add Extended Marker Based on Marked Range, or something to that effect. Ideally, I would watch a clip and mark my In/Out range, execute this shortcut and it would add an extended marker that matches the In/Out range I already made. This would make Extended Markers much faster to add, less prone to duration errors, and ultimately more useful.
Current Generative fill is a breakthrough, but can you make it even more advanced? Here's what I mean. Now we just add a text prompt and a new object appears. What if we need to match an image + a certain object from another image? Not an abstract hat, glasses, watch, car, etc., but the real ones? So, the advanced mode should make the following steps in 1 click:match the scale, perspective, colors & lighting for a realistic composite. Output: a layer with a mask (in case we need to make some manual adjustments).
I would LOVE to be able to move the panels in Lightroom in the order I use them most!
When i do auto-reframe it puts smaller and diffirent size. i suggest adobe they can put another setting button when auto-reframe we need to change the size of settings not just put 16*9 to 9*16 also i am looking for put sizes like 1080*1920 or 1080*1080. even my sequence settings are 1920*1080 and when i do auto reframe it doesnt change excat like 1080*1920. Adobe needs to solve this issue.
In the "Related conversations" we see the topics with the same keyword, but from other forums. To me they aren't related at all (in most cases). I'd like to see only the topics of the same forum.
Issue:The timecode panel doesn't update the V1/V2/... SRC timecode in a source sequence.Duration, In/Out Duration and current time are not affected. Steps to reproduce:I open a sequncei in source monitor and open it from there as a timeline (where I get a source sequence with a red playhead).I scrub through the timeline. Expected result:The V1 SRC TC in the Timcode panel shows the source timecode of the clips on V1. Actual result:The SCR timecode is either empty or stuck on the timcode of another open (not source) sequence Adobe Premiere Pro version: 25.1.0 (Build 73)Operating System: Win 10 I'm not sure if this is a missing feature or a bug. A source sequence should have the normal functionality of a normal sequence. I'm often surprised that I can edit a source sequence (move clips, cut clips,...) - would make more sense to me if it was read only in that moment - but I'm not able to solo or mute audio tracks or see TC. It's like the actual useful stuff of a sequence in such a state was left out.
Would be great to be able to use a sequence with multicam clips in the source monitor. Meaning, if I have multicam clips in a sequence I could then load that sequence into the source monitor and see the different camera angles just like a multicam clip. This would allow me to build stringouts of takes using multiple camera angles and edit from the source monitor selecting desired camera angle to edit into another sequence. Thank you.
Problem / Current Behavior:Currently, when using the Object Selection Tool's "Select Subject" feature, Photoshop recalculates the subject selection every time the tool is applied or re-activated on a layer. This occurs even if the layer’s pixel data has not been modified since the last calculation. This results in redundant processing time and workflow interruption, as the user must wait for the AI to re-analyze static data.Proposed Solution / Desired Behavior:Photoshop should cache the "Select Subject" calculation data for a specific layer in temporary memory. IF the layer is untouched (no pixel or mask modifications): The tool should instantly recall the previous subject selection without re-processing. IF the layer is modified: The cache is cleared, and the subject is re-calculated as normal. Benefit: Performance: Eliminates unnecessary wait times for re-analysis (especially on high-res files or when using Cloud processing). Workflow: Allows for a snappier, more responsive experience when toggling between layers or tools.
It would be handy if After Effects could have a gradient fill option for text layers.I would imagine options for whether the gradient would map from the top to the bottom of each letter, from the maximum possible letter height to the minimum possible (so that it’s even across a whole line), or across the entire existing block of text - even with multi lines. The big difference between this and applying a gradient effect would be that the gradient would move with each letter as it animates with text animators. Right now, there is no good way to do this.
