Boa noite a todos!Toda vez que insiro imagens dentro do meu InDesign o mouse trava no ícone de carregando mesmo que eu ainda consiga mexer e selecionar coisas dentro do programa, mas quando tento inserir texto não aparece nada, ai preciso salvar meu arquivo e fechar, fechar o programa com o gerenciador de tarefas e abrir novamente para que volte ao normal. Segue um vídeo em anexo mostrando como o programa está reagindo após inserir 6 imagens em uma página qualquer. Poderiam me ajudar? Is there a way without using scripting, to simply take, say 10 single indesign files (all just single 3.5x2 business card layouts) and export them to a pre-defined PDF preset resulting in 10 single PDF's? (other than one at a time?)I tried a few things from Acrobat 9 pro, one of them being File/export/export multiple files/  thinking that must be the ticket, but1) I can't find my pre-defined PDF preset in the "export to dropdown list" (but thats secondary, probably can add that in somehow, right?) and2) even when I just pick PDF/a or PDF/x it starts the process, then tries to open each indd doc but a message comes up saying it can't open the INDD  file(s) and nothing was processed.Can someone help me with this?Thank you.

Suddenly, my InDesign is giving me 110 Pre-Flight errors, all saying that my Segoe UI font is missing.  It appears in the document OK but how do I get rid of the error messages and assuage the software?  Do I somehow reinstall the font? 

I am working on a complex book with an index. This book has several conditions. When I make the index, InDesign still includes the index markers of the hidden conditional text. How can I make it only include the index markers of the visible conditional text?For example, the two highlighted items relating to C-Zone switching are in hidden conditional text and should not be included in the index.  

Hi I am trying to work out how to set InDesign hyperlinks to open a new tab in a browser. It is not convenient for me to recreate or edit the links in Acrobat as we have alot of links within documents, so I am looking for an InDesign solution. Kind regardsDaniel

I published an online document using “Publish Online.” The initial upload worked perfectly — the link was created, the document name was applied, my preset settings were saved, and everything displayed correctly.However, after making edits to the same file and republishing to update the existing link, I started experiencing issues. Sometimes the link shows the updated version, and other times it still displays the old version of the file. This happens even when I check in an incognito/private browser window, so it doesn’t appear to be a cache issue on my side.Has anyone experienced this problem before or found a reliable solution?

Hello,I’m working with an InDesign Book file .indb, and although the Book feature is very useful, I’m finding some limitations during production.I would like to understand whether there is a better workflow, or whether these are current limitations of InDesign Books.My main issues are:Master Pages / Parent Pages sync Is there a way to automatically sync Parent Pages across all .indd documents in a Book? For example, if I edit a Parent Page in one document, I would like that change to update automatically in the other documents in the .indb. Styles sync I know the Book panel has synchronization options for styles, but the process feels too manual. Is there a way to make style synchronization more dynamic? For example, if I rename a paragraph style or change its properties in one document, can that update automatically across the whole Book? Endnotes across Book documents This is the most important issue for me: is there any way to keep endnotes in a separate .indd document within the Bo

   I am trying to export an InDesign file as a Reflowable EPUB file. When I attempt to do this, InDesign become unresponsive and I get the spinning beach ball on my Mac. I can export this file as a Fixed Layout EPUB file. This file is for my students who are using a variety of devices, which is why I want a Reflowable EPUB file and not a Fixed Layout EPUB.   My InDesign file was created from a 19-page Word file (docx). Cover is set to None. InDesign freezes when attempting to create either EPUB 2.0.1 and EPUB 3.0 files. I have tried rebuilding the InDesign preferences, but that does not help. I've updated to 2025 and since then everything is so slow. Especially when I work with text and documents with a lot of styles  - it's for a magazine, so you want al those styles. I work on a Mac Studio and Sonoma 14.7.Instead of working direct from a server, I copied my files to my desktop to see if that would be better, but it isn't. The fonts I use are all otf, so that also shouldn't be a problem.I can't go back to an older version since most of our customers also work with InDesign2025...

Just started using ID 2025 this morning and I'm noticing a LOT of lag time with pretty much any activity. I'm running a Mac Studio with an M2 Ultra, so it's not my computer. I've tried some simple troubleshooting but it is simply not responding like ID 2024. Help!

For the past month or two, any time I try to Place a file or update a Placed file, InDesign usually freezes. The cursor turns into the spinning circle. I can close and save the files after this, but cannot close the InDesign app. I try various ways to place the files. File > Place or Ctrl D or copy and paste the placed file from another InDesign file. The files I use are typically on my Google Drive and I’ve installed the Drive app on my machine.This is REALLY getting annoying. Adobe used to be so good with bugs. Any ideas? I’ve read a few posts that say they thought version 21.3 fixed this issue but I’ve still got it.I’ve reset preferences, cleared old versions of InDesign, reinstalled InDesign. InDesign 21.3Core i9 processorWindows 11 home64 GB RAM500+ GB hard drive space Thanks in advance for any tips.

When I click on an open InDesign window, it disappears behind other program windows. I need to either reset my workspace or switch the Application Frame on or off. I’m now having to do this every 5-10 minutes, which is utterly ridiculous. I’ve been plagued with issues for a number of years now, and it’s an absolute hindrance which really affects my workflow. I’ve also tried binning the pref file on multiple occasions, which makes no difference whatsoever. Does anyone have a ‘permanent’ solution for this? You have no idea how appreciated it would be if you did. Thanks.

Since the InDesign update to 21.0, exporting to interactive PDF (for a fillable form) has dramatically increased the height of checkboxes in the resulting PDF. This results in them overlapping each other (see image) and other odd behavior (for example: clicking the checkbox places the checkmark at the bottom of the box, which was its original location, but then after clicking out of the box, the checkmark moves up to be vertically centered within the now taller bounding box). Radio buttons are also affected in the same way, but not normal input fields. I've reverted InDesign to version 20.5, which fixed the issue for me.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to get the PPD to work with InDesign 2021. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if it's not supported at all. My IT guy suggest I reach out to the community to see if anyone has any answers. I am running Mac OS 10.15.7 (Catalina). Thank you in advance!

Je travaille exclusivement sur Apple : Mac M4 avec 26.5.1 Je me suis abonné en ce début de mois. Et à ma grande surprise malgré mon paiement je ne dispose pas d’un logiciel performant, je suis donc mécontent ! J’ai notamment 2 soucis importants qui me créent bien des soucis : lors d’un import de photo, toutes les pages suivantes deviennent vierges, pourquoi ? > je pense que çà un lien avec le gabarit/ J’ai aussi de gros problèmes avec la génération d’un sommaire. bien que j’ai créé des styles il m’importe des illustrations, pourquoi ? De plus lorsque j’exporte pour un epub, il met met un message d’erreur à cause d’une ancienne ancre. Tout çà me parait complèxe à résoudre… Quelqu’un a t il une solution. Portez vous bien.

I've noticed that Indesign Publish Online now uses GA4. I've got a client that wants to historic data on their documant. Is there any way of retreiving this information? When did it change to GA4?
