Lightroom Classic

During LR startup I get a Server Busy Window that says This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose switch to to activate the busy program and correct the problem. This does correct the problem but why is this necessary and how to I get rid of the error during start up?

Ich habe heut das Excire Search als upgrade gekauft. Das Panel wird nicht gestartet. Ich bekomme folgende Fehlermeldung: Das Excire Search Panel konnte aufgrund von Einschränkungen in Ihrer Lightroom Classic Version nicht gestartet werden. Bitte starten Sie es manuell.Wenn ich es manuell starten will, kommt ebenfalls diese Fehlermelung. Gleichzeitig öffnet sich der Finder und mir wird das Icon für das Panel angezeigt, so dass ich es außerhalb von Lightroom öffnen kann. Bei DXO PureRaw ist es ähnlich. Es startet die Übertragung nicht von Lightroom aus. Schließe ich lightroom, öffnet sich PureRaw, arbeitet die Aufgabe ab, startet dann automatisch Lightroom und importiert die Bilder.Ich hoffe, dass mir jemand helfen würde. Hi,Now that RAW Details and Denoise is in the main side bar rather than the drop down menu, I thought how do you select multiple photos to denoise together?  I then saw you can now apply these functions as part of Synch Settings, so think thats way to do it (even if a bit awkward having ot delsect all optiuons then click RAWDetails and DeNoise).     BUT, does the Synch Settings perform a seperate RAW Details and Noise Analysis for EACH photo seperately, OR does it simply apply the "adjustments" it determined from the photo you did first?

I thin k that Adobe does it on purpose: one upgrade is om the other one introduces performace issues.I have a powerful PC: 13 13700, 64GB RAB, RTX 4070 12GB VRAM, two very fast SSD.before upgrafing to 14.5 all was running smmoth and nice, after 14.5.x installation all has become sluggish at UI and performance level: moving from one picture to the next, zoomin in/out, selecting with an object mask, exporting... The UI stutters and is very sluggish...

Bonjour, j'aimeris savoir comment supprimer les disques durs enregistrés sur LRC car quand ljes branches ils sont bien reconnus par lightroom mais je nai aucun accés aux images alors que je me sers toujours du même disuqe dur externe. Ensuite LRC m'a créé plusieurs liens vers le meme disque durs.Je voudrais tout remettre a plat pour repartir sur de bonnes bases.Maerci par avance de votre aide

I Recently moved to a new PC running windows 11.   After getting everything moved over, I went to exit LRC.  At this point,  I did not get a window asking if I wanted to back up the Catalog.  I went to the Exit dropdown expecting to find Catalog Settings, but Catalog Settings  is not there.  I did some research and tried to do a Reset but that did not work.  Any thoughts on where the Catalog Settings option is hiding?

Just updated my Lightroom Classic to Version 14.0, and the "Copy" and "Paste" buttons and menu functions are not working properly. The buttons do not function at all, and the drop-down menu option works sporadically. This is a vital function! Please fix!

On both a laptop and a workstation, both with LrC v 14.3.1, Windows 11, using images from a Fujifilm X-T5 (RAF). The resultant merge presents an image that is automatically flagged as rejected. I have reset the Preferences file. What may I have set incorrectly? Sys Info attached 

Bonjour, utilisant toujours le même disque dur avec une arborescence sur LRC, je me retrouve avec plusiseurs disque durs dans l'espace dossiers.Il me reconnais bien mon disque dur mais l'arborescence de mon disque dur ne s'affiche pas. J'aimerais savoir coment tout supprimer pour repartir sur de bonnes bases quites a faire une réimportation de toutes mes photosMerci beaucoup par avance de votre aide

OK, I have reset the preferences. Reinstalled. Deleted the loc file. Created a new library on startup. When LRC runs - if it runs - it looks fine. I try and import images and it sits. Does nothing. I'll finally hit the little X by "importing images" - it can be 5 seconds of 5 hours later - and I see a notification that nothing was found to import. There are no filters set, all the options like "copy images" etc. are unchecked. When it does not run I'll check task manager, and sometimes see several instances - so I'll close them all. Try and run again. It may or may not run. Then it's back to the beginning of this message. Reinstall, delete, etc., etc. Any suggestions? I really don't want to use PS to edit 1700 images but with the time I've wasted on this I probably could have.

Information in Loupe mode in either the Library or the Develop Module is suddenly not showing at all, nor showing when toggling with the 'Command I' keyboard shortcut.  No information shows.  Also, information is no longer adding to the filmstrip below.  I have tried toggling all relevant keyboard shortcuts in the View, Loupe and and View Options sections.  Have even tried reinstalling LRC from scratch.  Bizarrely, the keyed selections eg delete, or an added star/color rating DO show up in Library Grid mode and in the film strip - but only after an LRC shutdown and restart .  The Information overlay in Loupe mode still does not work at all.  Any ideas?? 

I'm experiencing a frustrating and expensive paper and ink-wasting issue when printing 13x19 size prints from Mac OSX 10.13.4 and LR Classic CC v8.0 on my Epson SC-P800. Things are printing well for awhile and then if I have a paper jam, say, or have to cancel a job because I started printing the wrong photo, when I try to print again with the same exact settings (page size, print size), the prints come out with the left margin suddenly a lot wider and the right side having no margin (borderless).I have tried to troubleshoot this  problem with Epson and they believe it is something with LR software and/or OSX because I'm able to print fine from Preview using a jpeg created in LR's print to file feature and the same Epson printer driver settings.The major reason this is so infuriating is because of its intermittent nature. I seem to always be able to print small page sizes fine (4x6s, letter) in LR, but it's the bigger sheets where I run into this problem. I've finally learned that

Guten Tag, vor einigen Tagen hatte ich das Problem dass ich Bilder nicht inportieren konnte und es kam die folgenden Fehlermeldung. ich quitierte diese Meldung mit OK. Dann verschwand diese und ich konnte LRC wie gewohnt weiter nutzen.  Leider kommt diese Fehlermeldung seit diesem Zeitpunkt immer wieder wenn ich LRC neu starte. Wie kann ich das abstellen? When I try to move photos, I get the error that they already exist in the destination. The problem is that those photos don't appear in the destination when I check. For example moving photos from location A (93 photos) to location B (23 photos), LRC claims that they are already in location B, even though location A has many more photos than location B.Also similar when I try to move a whole folder - LRC claims that the folder already exists in the destination. I can't see the folder in that destination.Can anyone help?

Após a nova atualização do Photoshop 2023 para 2024, não consigo exportar as fotografias do Lr para edição no Ps. Não acontece nada, além de abrir a tela do Ps. As fotos não são exportadas. Obrigado!

I added many presets to Lightroom and there were no problems. Then I deleted the presets from Lightroom, I don't know why, but now I can't load the same presets. I would appreciate any help.

 I hope I can explain this. on the left is LRC my SSD. September and October Arent showing up in what I think of as "the usual place" now they are appearing in another location? I tried to sync but that made it worst. My file system show fine.

Never seen thsi behavior. I have Raw images that I edit in Lightroom using my normal workflow. At times I will edit in Phtoshop from lightroom. Upon close it saves the edited raw as a tiff. Normally this is fine, but recently it applies the orginal adjustments for basic color mixer and curves on top of the tiff on save. I would expect the settings to be flat. The pictures appears blown out. Suddenly, the last 26 photos I've imported in my lightroom cataloug have the wrong GPS location. The actual files have the correct GPS location. I unchecked the "remove location info" in Export.  Then, I can reset their GPS location by importing the metatada from the original file and they appear correctly in Lightroom's map feature for a few moments, until the files synce with lightroom on the web again. Then, they all have the same GPS location as the 27th photo. No matter what I do. Need some help on this one. 

I set up some presets using Adaptive Colour and some (mainly luminance) masks.Nearly every time I come back to photos I've applied the reset to and look good, no longer look good (eg they become overexposed). Sometimes they seem to come good by themselves (eventually), sometimes they don't. I can't work out what's going on. I'm about to dump Adaptive Colour for presets and try Adobe Colour.  Are there known issues with using Adaptive Colour in presets? The values you assign to the preset one day that look good, the next day look really bad on the same photo. Seems to be an endless loop of adjustments! Are there any rules to follow when using Adaptive Colour?

I bought Lightroom 6 sometime in 2017. Now my previous computer broke and lightroom went with it. Well, no problem, I thought, I can download it back from the creative cloud to my new computer. But now it turned out that it can no longer be downloaded. What are my chances now? Can I get compensation or a refund for something for I can no longer use the product I bought and paid for? I didn't get any notice that the download file should be saved to yourself, because adobe no longer offers it for download. What now?

Recently, LRC started giving me the following error message when I close the app: Lightroom was unable to back up the catalog names "Lightroom 5 Catalog..." Please check your folder permissions, and make sure that you have available space on your backup drive and the main catalog's drive." I've tried several external drives to write the backup to and all fail with the same error. All have plenty of space. LRC was given full disk access in MAC OS. I have even tried to make a new catalog and then import the old one to it. That also fails with a generic error and does not complete. Any help would be appreciated!
