Lightroom Classic

Subfolders are missing in this folder. Please relink? I don't appear to have any missing folders. How do I stop this error message? LRC 15.0.1 release

It doesn't help. How to move an entire hard drives worth of photos and their folders from an existing hard drive to a new hard drive while maintaing their folder structure?

I'm close to running out of space on my 4TB Sandisk SSD portable data storage disk.I thought the solution would be to just buy another SSD portable disk and run two at the same time off my laptop.This, it seems, was not such a good idea.It's almost impossibly slow, with constant "Lightroom not responding" error messages and I've created a mess in my folder structure.What I'm thinking is to now go out and purchase a desktop data storage solution, something with 10TB storage which seems pretty standard and surprisingly cost effective.I would combine both of my SSD drives onto this desk top system.My only hesitation is the speed issue.A HDD drive is apparently a lot slower than my current SSD drive.However, if I store my Lightroom application and the preview file on my laptop hard drive and just have my images on a desktop HDD drive will I be frustrated with the slow speed.Any user experience would be appreciated.Thanks 

All,I have been using the above software on my Mac Mini and PC for cataloging and processing. Recently I have a problem with the cataloging and losing my downloaded pictures on just the Mac. I download my pictures and then establish the catalog name to store the pictures. What is happening is once I have finished the name or hit enter the catalog name and the pictures disappear. On Wednesday I tried download pictures and the new entry into the catalog disappeared, but all of pictures in the entire catalog vanish. This is only occurring with the Mac and not the PC. I would appreciate any advice on recovery these pictures.Thank you.

Hallo liebes Forum, ich möchte mir nun endlich einen externen Monitor zulegen, nachdem ich seit Lightroom 2 stets alles am Laptop bearbeitet habe. Ich habe allerdings ein paar Fragen und hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen. Mein Laptop ist ein XMG mit einer Auflösung von 2560x1440 bei einer Skalierung von 150%.Der von mir favorisierte Monitor ist der Asus ProArt PA248QV, 24" mit Full HD (1920*1200).  Meine Fragen hierzu:- wenn ich diesen Monitor an den Laptop anschließe, wird Lightroom sicher "riesig" dargestellt, oder? So war es zumindest wenn ich mal meinen billigen Arbeitsmonitor mit Full HD angeschlossen habe. Auch als ich vor ein paar Monaten mit Lightroom von meinem vorherigen Laptop mit Full HD auf den jetzigen mit WQHD umgestiegen bin, musste ich erst eine Weile "basteln" ehe ich meine gewohnte Ansicht wieder hatte. Since October 8th, when I export a photo in JPEG format, I don’t see Exif data (camera, lens, aperture, speed …) - I see Exif data on previous jpeg files (made before october 8th) using different tools as Finder (Mac OS) or Bridge- I don’t see Exif data on jpeg files ceated after october 8th …- When I work on Lrc application on Raw file (NEF), I see exif data but these data disappear when I export this picture (I accept all metadata in export configuration) - I have updated Lrc software on beginning of October ...- This morning, I have created a new catalog with 1 photo and i cann’t see Exif data on exported file (JPEG)  My configuration : Version Lightroom Classic: 15.0.1 - Licence: Creative Cloud - Paramètre de langue: fr-FR - Système d'exploitation : Mac OS 15 - 15.6.1 – arm64 

We are setting up Lighroom Classic on a new PC. It has two plugins with, I think, custom metadata headings and content. We have installed the csutome metadata headings but no content is showing, but it does show if we change back to default metadata but with the wrong headings. Can anyone help?

When editing a wedding I create virtual copies of the gallery and then copy and paste a black and white filter onto the flagged virtual copies. Always done it this way. Since the update a few days ago, it wont copy the black and white ticked box. It seems to copy over most/all of the other options, as it's working for my colour images fine. It's not the end of the world as I can just click BW for each photo but it just slows down my work flow.  I've tried doing updates (it does them automatically anyway) and I've tried resetting the preferences. Made no difference. Have also tried different catalogs and it's the same issue. Thanks!

All was well until 3 Nov, since then I have been unable to import the images on my flash card. The images are visible in the d drive as are the folders they are in. However when I select import, the D drive and folders are there but no images.Any help would be much appreciated.

Lightroom 15.0.1 Mac M2ProI have tried to denoise a bunch of images before photomerge to panorama - the panorama produced is even more noisy that the original images. I've tried to merge to panoram and then denoise - but the effects are dreadful. I've tried denoise - export to dng, reimport and merge - again produces a highly noisy panorama. The only way I can find to get this to work is denoise the images, export to dng and the create the panorama in photoshop which is an enormous pain ...Assume this is a bug?Anyone have a work around or found similar?

My LRC current catalog will not back up - it is asking for permissions and saying I may not have enough space. Which, I do. Both on my macbook and my external hard drive. I have tested the integrity of the cat, and optimized it a bunch of times and nothing came up saying it was corrupt. The catolog has booted me out more than multiple times. I just dont want to lose this catolog because I have a large wedding on there. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot not open my LR catalogus ,i tried my back ups but no resultsI reinstalled my LR but its not going tomopen  

Lightroom Classic Quits unexpectedly.  Using Macbook pro M1 with tahoe 26.1 operating system.  Catalog is running from a external hard drive, Samsung 990 Pro M.2 SSD.  Is there a known fix or a diagnostic app that can be used to correct this issue.

I am having an issue with Exporting in Lightroom Classic. When I export a group of edited photos as JPEG with a 16MB size limit, in nearly every export I have one or two that export as Camera Raw Images, well over the file size limit and have a different date on them than I shot or edited the pics, often different dates with each other.. Which pics are wrong is random with each export, although if I redo the export of the same group, the same ones are wrong. I can correct, by exporting individually. This has happened on two separate computers, and for shoots where different cameras and cards are used. I just got a new laptop and installed LR Classic on it, same issue. Any ideas.

I am using a PC with Windows.  I didn't update LRclassic recently as I've heard there are many problems with this update.  However, about a week ago, each time I backup my catalog, it takes a full hour for LR to complete this task.  It used to be about 10 minutes.  Any idea why it changed so abruptly and what I can do to change this?  Thank you!

I just updated Lightroom Classic to v 15.0.1 and the Remove tools no longer works.. I'm running it on a Mac desktop, Apple M1 chip with 16Gb ram, on Sequoia 15.7.2. Selecting either Remove or Remove Option in the Tools menu after selecting the Object results in a B&W negative style image which you can do nothing with other than exit. Any suggestions please? 

I have been importing photos to lightroom classic on my macbook with no problem. Since the last update it will not import. It says importing photos and nothing happens, even when left for a long time. After cancelling it says that no photos with imported. I tried it with just one photo and in another catlog but there was no change. 

Hola, Tengo un problema con Lightroom Classic v.15.0.1, no se abre, se queda pensando. Lo he desinstalado y lo he vuelto a instalar y también he instalado una versión anterior pero continua haciendo lo mismo, no se abre. He mirado que no fuera la tarjeta grafica NVIDIA. Pero me dice que Lightroom Classic esta optimizado correctamente con la tarjeta. Alguien me podría ayudar a solucionar el problema.  

I have been facing this problem since some time and even now when the version is 15.0.1 The Brush Tool gets stuck and keeps painting all over even when the mouse is not clicked (left click). There is no other operation possible after this happens. The only option is to kill the application and restart it. Frequency is quite high. Almost every second day !!

Whenever i try to edit a picture in lightroom or i try to apply a preset, the picture deletes or leaves lightroom. What should i do?
