Lightroom Classic

Hey everyone! I'm working on capturing high-quality product shots for an online store (randmvapekaufen. com), and I'm looking for Lightroom Classic presets or editing tips to make product images stand out. Specifically, I want to enhance details, make colors pop, and ensure a clean, professional look. Any recommendations for presets or editing techniques? Also, what are your go-to export settings for e-commerce images? Thanks in advance!

Lighroom v14.2 on Windows.Cannot scroll down in the Preferences menu (Edit<Preferences). Any changes I try to make cannot be saved, as I can't scroll down far enough to hit the save button. Tried resetting the settings when re-opening Lighroom with (shift & ,), does not fix the issue. There is no scroll bar, and neither mouse or trackpad scrolling is working. Tried everything I can to make enough space on the screen to see the save button, but it is not working. Nor do I have a monitor to connect to to give the screen more space. Help appreciated 🙂(image attatched is all i can see, can't scroll or make more space, removing taskbar doesnt help) 

Please help!!! everything has been great with my Lightroom classic until today. Everything is running SO slow. I'm talking like to export photos. It's taking 45 minutes to an hour to export 15 photos. Every time I click on a photo to edit. I get the spinning wheel that it's loading for about 20 minutes. I am editing on a MacBook. I don't have a ton of old albums in Lightroom or photos and I have a ton of storage left! so I have no idea why this is happening. And nothing is different than what I usually do in Lightroom and it's never been a problem so I'm at a complete loss for what's going on.  I have a M1pro  32 GB RAM  I currently have 400 GB available on my SSD    I have no issues with the speed outside of Lightroom. It's only with Lightroom.   

I am unable to import any video files from my Canon EOS R5. The thumnail for the mp4 files in the Import window says "Preview unable for this file". And, of course, when I attempt to import these files I get "An unknown error occured while reading the video file". The video cache setting in Preferences (iMac running MacOS 12.5) does nothing helpful. Based on other threads I have read with similar problems, Lightroom CC is useless for video. The format I use is standard video file format, 4K, color space BT. 709, C.Log 3, etc. Is there a workaround for this?

I have several items that are listed in Publishing services as missing plug-in. When I try to remove them I get the following:Can't delete the published collectionAn internal error has occured: ?:0:attempt to index field'publishSettings' (a nil value) I'm using the latest 12.3 release of Lightroom Classic on iMac (2015) with latest OSThanks,Lyle

Hello,My list of publish services showing several entries named like "(missing plug-in) : <collection name>"; I want to delete them before they cause any trouble, but I cannot find how to do that.Right clicking on these entries and choosing "Delete" shows an error message saying "Can’t delete the published collection(s). An internal error has occurred: ?:0: attempt to index field 'publishSettings' (a nil value)". Opening them in the publishing manager shows the empty Settings page with the "not saved" as the service name. Pressing "Remove" there gives the same error as before. Resetting settings did not help. Nothing suspicious in the Plug-in manager - all plugins I have show green - installed and running. Please help.I am using LR Classic Release 12.1 on a 64-bit Windows 10 Home.

I am currently having a problem tagging faces:  When I try to draw a face region, I can select the "draw face region" icon and it changes to be highlighted...but my curser does not change to allow me to draw a recangle (it just stays a magnifying glass and if I click it zooms in)... 

Recently trying the Compare feature, and every time I finish Compare, lightroom has 2 photos selected in the bottom strip.  I click the X for the least liked photo, until clicking X keeps showing the same photo, that indicates I've complete the compare.  But there are still 2 photos selected.  When I click on Loupe View, there is still 2 photos selected. Hi, I have this problem with deleting photos.System: MacOs 15.3.3Apple M4 ProLR classic: 14.2Problem: if I press the delete (backspace) button above the photo in the library. A modal window about deleting pops up, see screen.As you can see, the first button is blue, the second is framed.1) if I press enter, the photo is deleted from the catalog (expected deletion from disk because the framed button determines focus)2) navigation using the arrow keys does not work, you need to use the tab key.3) even when using the tab key, the options change, but still after pressing the enter key, deletion from the catalog is used (never from disk). The only option is to use the space key instead of enter.This whole procedure is confusing and using enter is not possible to delete photos. Only space or mouse click.

i am preparing a number of files for stacking. When i go to synchronise them the settings box wont let me check all the boxes i need to . I click on the check all button and most of what i want to sync stays greyed out.Has anyone had this happen or know how to fix this?

Bonjour,J'ai un problème d'impression depuis la semaine dernière.Lorsque j'utilise le modèle impression de LrC et que je sélectionne une photo, l'aperçu est vide (voir screenshot en PJ), et lorsque j'imprime, c'est une page blanche qui sort.Je n'avais pas ce problème auparavant, mais impossible de trouver ce qui a changé et qui empêche l'impression...Quelqu'un saurait-il comment résoudre ce bug ?Merci d'avance !

I've been over this with Apple Support but they don't have an answer. Exporting from my own Apple Photos library as "unmodified originals" works as it should with HEIC files appearing on the destination drive. However when exporting what appear to be HEIC files from an Apple Photos shared folder in my library, the exported files appear as jepegs. I've tried the other Apple Photo export option ("Export 1 Photo") which give me the option to choose HEIC and which does appear as that after export except that it's file size is a least half the size of those I export from my own library. I suspect the file is being coverted from a jepg, not the unmodified original HEIC. I've posted this on an Apple Discussions fourm too. Has anybody tried this with and gotten the same result?

Ocurre que al importar las fotografias tanto en Lightroom Classic como en la app de Lightroom se aplican ajustes en el revelado., como se puede evidenciar en la imagen los ajustes de Exposición, Iluminación y Sombras. No estoy aplicando ningun ajuste preestablecido en la importacion.¿Cómo puedo evitar que esto ocurra y que la fotografia se importe sin ajustes?  

When I start LR I got the mesage that the used catalog must be restored because it is damaged. I have used normal. There were no crashes of my PC.   The catalog is stored on a seperat HD which has no isues.   I use LR Classic CC latest.   HELP   Tom

I have CC and all files are up to date. I just installed Helicon Focus and Raya Pro. Now the merge to panorama and merge to HDR are grayed out and the edit in photoshop open to layers, merge to panorama, and merge to HDR also grayed out.  I have tried disabling the plug in to see if that is the problem, but nothing changed, so now I am not sure. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?

Hi All, Today I purchased a new e-license from a reseller for 1 year of Adobe Photography Plan. I had 11 months left on my current license. The new license code has been accepted but there are still only 11 months left (the new license year has not been credited).What can I do now? My new license seems to have totally disappeared.Thanks en BR,Marc

Using Lightroom Classic, latest version. New laptop, with a second monitor, so this is the first time using Adobe to edit. Photoshop working fine. I am able to edit 5 RAW images, then I notice the software slowing down and then the develop module window freezes, but any changes I make are visible on the filmstrip below. I have to constantly close and reopen to use again. Drivers are up to date, catalog optimize, I don't know what else to do. Running Windows 11, 32 gigs of RAM. Exporting 150 images went lightning fast, btw. 

I have noticed for some time that this option has stopped working. Sample photos using the noise reduction function ( 25% )The preview gives a correct result, but final image is unusable and looks worse than original. Anyone noticed something like that ? 

Hallo Zusammen, ich habe folgendes Problem:Wie immer importiere ich meine Bilder in Lightroom und diese werden im Bibliothek Modus links als Ordner angezeigt. Seit neustem ist es jedoch so, dass ich die Bilder importiere, diese bearbeite und sobald ich neue Bilder importiere der vorherige Import nicht mehr links in der Ordnerleiste angezeigt wird- er ist einfach weg.Ich kann die Bilder aber auch nicht nochmal neu importieren, da diese dann hellgrau hinterlegt sind (hellgrau bedeutet ja, das sie bereits importiert wurden). Sie sind also weg und ich kann sie auch nicht mehr neu hinzufügen. Auch über die Suchfunktion finde ich die fehlenden Ordner nicht. Ich bin wirklich verzweifelt und weiß nicht, was ich tun kann. Hatte das Problem bereits jemand?

LR classic v14 0 1 MACbook pro OS sonoma 14 6 1 copy paste text into library find text expected result: 25 files actual result: 0   I just pulled my hair out for two days trying to figure out why a string of comma delimited, properly formatted plain text file names would not appear in a library "text" search. After much googling, i found another LR user on a forum here in the adobe community where someone posted that they had this issue and it was because of a space in the file name.   YOU MUST FIX THIS. This has been a known issue for minimum 6 years, but I suspect it goes back much further. Its very easy to accidentally have a space in a file name by accident when batch renaming files and actually made me feel absolutely insane for the last two days.   {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator} 

Hello, I have a question regarding metadata between Peakto and Lightroom classic.  I have added keywords to Images in Peakto.  In peakto catalog settings/sync settings I have round trip XMP setting to lightroom selected.  When I enter Lightroom classic, images are flagged with “The metadata for this photo has been changed by both Lightroom and another application. Should Lightroom import settings from disk or overwrite disk settings with those from the catalog?”  and it asks if I would like to “overwrite settings, or “import settings from disk”.  The keywords added in Peakto are not visible in Lightroom.  If I import settings from disk, My image reverts to how it originally looked before any lightroom edits.  (I tested this by drastically changing exposure in lightroom on a test image.  The image came into peakto with the change but when I returned to lightroom and imported settings from disk, my image returned to “pre exposure change” appearance

Since maybe 2 versions ago Lightroom Classic has been so slow that it is basically unusable. The interface responds normally for the most part, with left clicking and moving between modules working as expected, but right clicking or performing any editing task takes forever. When right clicking a photo there is typically a delay of around 5 minutes simply for the context menu to appear. I currenlty use LR6.  Recently a white box containing image and camera information has appeared over the top half of the photo and I am not able to remove it.  Any advice would be helpful please.

When using Lightroom Classic for the first time, I Imported the entire My Pictures file on my laptop, when I was trying to Import one photo. Big time rookie error. How can I clear the pictures from LR Classic without deleting them from my hard drive too? HELP

LrC 14.2; Windows 10.0.19045When starting Lightroom Classic I always get the Lightroom Classic Catalog Upgrade dialog box and have to choose a different catalog.  After selecting the Choose a Different Catalog button the next dialog box lists older catalogs but not my current working catalog.  I click the Choose a Different Catalog button and navigate to my current working catalog which then appears in the list of catalogs after being selected.  The "Always load this catalog on startup" checkbox is then selected and Open is clicked to start LrC.  Closing and re-starting LrC always returns to the same catalog upgrade dialog without honoring the "Always load this catalog on startup" checkbox.
