Hi ! Could someone explain me how can I upload pics in the new library I just created in my 20 GB space that is given to me with my Adobe account ? Thanks, Olivier (France)
Lightroom CC 2015A client or collaborator has selected, lets say, 200 images from a shoot of 5000. I need to output those 200 files. The easiest way to do that is if they can email me the file names and then I can enter those file names into Library>Find in LR and then tag or flag those photographs. But how do they export a list of those filenames?Or is there another way or sharing selects?
Issue: When attempting to import video files if there is a HEVC/H.265 encoded file in the folder being viewed, all video files (including H.264) will not be viewable or importable and just show the error "Preview unavailable for this file". LrC version: 13.2 Mac OS version: Sonoma 14.3.1 Steps to reproduce: Open LrC Click on the Import... button Navigate to the folder with the files Expected result: LrC should show the video file previews and allow import of the files. Actual result: If there are only H.264 files in the folder, all files preview and import correctly. If there is a mix of both H.264 and H.265, or only H.265, all videos files show the error "Preview unavailable for this file". Additional observation: If I try importing a folder with H.265 files in it, which will fail with the same error, then exit out of the import dialog and then try importing again and open a folder with only H.264 files, they will only show the error message.
Long time Lightroom user here having issues with video files only. Not sure exactly when this issue started as I haven't imported video files for about a year now. Running a Mac Mini M2 updated to Sonoma 14.2.1. For some reason I am unable to import (or preview) video files anymore. Previews in the importer show the error "Preview unavailable for this file" and if I try to import anyway I get the error "There is a problem with the video file". I have tried resetting preferences, reinstalling LrC, going back to v.12, disabling/removing all plugins, playing video files in Quicktime before trying to import, copying files off my memory cards to my desktop first, removing VLC player, etc. Been searching for help online and in this forum for a couple of days but have been unable to find anything to fix my issue. All video files previously imported in LrC work just fine. I even copied a file that is already in my catalog from a couple of years ag
I recently added a new external hard drive for my photos beginning with 2025, since my original hard drive is almost full (it has images through 2024). I have connected the new hard drive to Lightroom and have been able to work on new images taken in 2025. When I connected the old hard drive to work on some 2024 images, Lightroom did not show them (only the 2025 catalog thumbnails since the 2025 hard drive is disconnected). How do I get Lightroom to show my photos from the old hard drive? The images are on the drive so it appears the catalog isn't connected, although the catalog for the old hard drive is backed up on my computer. I also noticed when I first connected the new hard drive to Lightroom that LRC seems to have updated. For example, my keywords from pre-2025 do not show up. My goal is to be able to use both hard drives and be able to work on images in Lightroom from whichever drive is connected. Thank you.
Hey where did the Range Mask option go, where you could select, luminance, color or depth? It used to be at the bottom of all the masking tools. I want to mask off the luminance of a linear gradient like this guys shows in his video: Fast forward to 11 minutes 30 seconds to see what I mean. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K61jUqy3mzM
Since today, when I try to import photos into Lightroom Classic it just hangs. There is 2TB of free space on the destination disk, and 1TB free on the disk I am importing from. When I view Windows task manager, I see a process Adobe Crash Processor. I restarted the Windows 10 desktop, and then restarted and tied again. Same problem, Lightroom just hangs. I waited one hour. Still hanging. I stopped the process Adobe Crash Processor but it is still hanging. I selected only 1 photo to import, and same problem. Does anybody know what the problem is, or how to fix it? Thanks in advance,Dave
Me está fallando mucho ligthroom y photoshop , hace dias no he recibido actualizaciones. Les pasa?
I have just got a new Mac mini and installed Lightroom Classic. When I create a new panorama or denoise a photo LRC shows it in a new location rather than beside the source photos as it used to do when I was using my previous computer. The new location in LRC has the same name as the correct location but is shown separately not under the correct path. It is not possible to move the photos from this new folder to the correct place. The new photo is in the correct location on the Mac. I have the latest versions of software for both the Mac and Lightroom Classic.I can see others have asked this question here several years ago but none of the answers were helpful to fix my problem. My old computer isn't working so I can compare the settings I had previously. What do I need to do to fix this?
Bonjour, je n'arrive pas a installer une ancienne version de premier je suis un peu perdu ....
I'm a faithful Lightroom Classic user (for > 6 years), and usually process photos multiple times/week. Just yesterday, I clicked on my desktop shortcut to open the app, and nothing appeared on my screen. I shut down my laptop, and tried again. Still no app opened. I checked the taskmaster, and it showed Lightroom Classic as running, but nothing on my screen. I then opened Photoshop, and it opened nicely on the laptop screen. So I shut down the laptop again, and tried to open Lightroom Classic again. Still nothing appearing on the screen. Any thoughts?
Hello everyone, My lightroom has been super slow lately. I see each button loading and it takes a while to change from library to develop interfaces. Trying to use the mask effect is so laggy. It was just super slow. I read that sometimes the catalogue size can make the program slow so I made a new catalogue and now it seems to be working fine once again. My question however is on Adobe official page it says catalogues are optimized for hundreds of thousands of photos (I had about 30 000 photos in my catalogue). So do large catalogues slow lightroom down or is there another issue I'm facing?
Goal: I want to convert all images to DNGProblem: some raw files are not converted. Here is how you can follow on your pc: I have some stacks with raw files (in my case .cr2), what contain three pictures for an HDR or a few for a panorama. I have put them together in a stack. Then I created HDR and Panoramas from these, the new files are created as DNG files. When I select the whole folder and then select from the menu library -> convert to DNG, a lot of files are converted, however, there are two problems: only the first of the images on the stack are converted, the rest remain in raw (in my case .cr2)already existing dng files (such as the hdr and panorama I created) are also converted again to DNG and added "-2" to the file name. (you can also see attached a screenshot of my folder). What I would expect: to convert all raw files independet if these are in a stack or not (these were not virtual copies!!)I would expect that
Since the Update to LrC 14 and subsequently 14.0.1 LrC always crashes shortly after using denoise AI. I am using an 16" Macbook Pro with a M3max with the 40 core GPU and 64 GB of unified memory and 2tb ssd. macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 [Moderator removed Crash Report and Attached at Text File]
Hi, I have LrC installed on my Windows 10 Laptop and my new Windows 11 Desktop.I haven't been able to open my catalog (now on my desktop) with my laptop. I decided to uninstall the laptop. How can I do it without affecting the installation on my desktop?.Thanks in advance for your help.
I just upgraded to LRC 14.0.1, and the denoise feature no longer works. It says, "Denoise is not currently compatible with this photo format." The file is a full-size CR3 from a Canon R5c, which worked with denoise in LRC 13.x. I am on an 2021 M1 Max Macbook Pro, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB SSD, 10 cores. Adobe mentioned, "The October release of Lightroom Classic version (14.0) has disabled Apple Neural Engine support for AI Denoise on macOS." Does this mean denoise doesn't work for me or is this a bug? I've reset preferences, restarted my machine, and uninstalled/reinstalled LRC. Any help is appreciated!
Hello everyone, first of all, all the best for the new year! I have a problem with removing disturbing elements in the background via generative removal. Normally this works quite well, but here the newly generated areas have a different grain (caused by ISO) and you can clearly see the transitions/borders to the original background.Does anyone have any ideas on how I can improve this? Or do you know a good tutorial on how to do this? Many thanks and best regards!
As of November 22, LightRoom Classic is 10.0 Release, iMac is 10.15.7iPhone has latest iOS. iPhone 11 Pro Max Every time I import from my iPhone, I am presented with two different photos for each photo I shot, with different aspect ratios. I recall this happening after an iOS update. Is there anything that I can do to stop these multiple version imports?I have attached a sample of what my import looks like. Is there anything that I can do?Thanks
So have noticed for the last couple of months that when I switch from the Develop module back to the library module, I get kicked out of the app to another app that happens to be open on my desktop could be a web browser, document in progress, Google Earth, whatever is open.As soon as I click on the library module, Lightroom (LRC 14.0.1) doesn't close or shut down. I simply get bounced out of that window to another app., I can still simply click back to LRC but it is a pain.I keep hoping that update or restart resolve the issue but it's persistent. Any thoughts? I'm on Sequpia 15.1.1 btwTIA
According to JV16, Adobe products account for about 2/3 of Windows 11's boot times. On my system a clean install of Windows 11 takes about 35 seconds. Now that I have Lightroom Classic and Photoshop loaded, this varies from about 70-90 seconds. Is this normal and typical or is there something to be done to shorten this time.
I think older versions of the Adobe DNG Converter allowed you to convert jpg files to dng.The current version will only convert raw files to dng.I understand that some may not think this conversion is a good idea. I just want to know how to do it.Thanks.
hello, can someone please share their wisdom regarding this issue, some of my .CR3 imports are coming hidden for some reason, and Lightroom is unable to detect them in the Import Module, i am on MacOs and by clicking on "Command + Shift + . " the CR3's are visible in my folder, however Lightroom is still unable to see or import them. please refer to the screenShot to understant my issue, many thanks!
I am trying to remove a folder from my catalog and when I select that folder and clich remove nothing happens. I even tried to delete the original folder on my physical drive and that did not work. I subsequently created an new folder on my hard drive and selected find missing folder and nothing happend. How do I delete this folder. It is called 2022 and I am using windows.
I was planning to reedit some of my favourite pics (from 2016), air to air session with Blackhawk helicopters, when I ran into something that I haver never seen in Lightroom Classic before. All pictures where I have yellow ( can´t use the correct word due to dual meaning) fields in the background look allright in library mode but overexpose the background to an extreme level when I go into develop mode. It´s been some 7-8 years since I worked with these pictures, but this was not a problem then...Any clues or hints on how to solve this?
