Lightroom Classic

BonjourJe suis sur LR Classic V11.5 sous MacOS (10.15.7).Depuis quelques jours je n'ai plus les outils de synchronisation avec LR Mobile (Cloud) que ce soit sur la barre d'outil ou dans les paramétrages des collections. Avez-vous déja eu ce problème ? Je n'ai rien trouvé en ligne 😞Mon compte LR mobile est bien actif  et valide.merci d'avance 

A few days ago, I updated Lightroom Classic on my PC. Today when I logged in, all my Lightroom connections are gone. When I reinstalled the previous version, it made no difference. Everything is a big fat 0.

I posted another question about lightroom not restarting after closing it unless I end the task from Task manager, even though it has been closed already. And also, not being able to import anything.I seem to have narrowed it down some in the fact that this only happens when I try to start an import, then cancel the import, then close lightroom. After doing that, then I have the issue of not being able to start lightroom again unless I delete the task from task manager. I had recently made a new install of lightroom after doing dome upgrades to the computer and this problem has been there ever since. I have re-installed lightroom multiple times and I have reinstalled windows 4 times and this still happens. All my files import into my laptop with no problem so I don't believe I have corrupted files. Even trying to import images I have had on my hard drive into a new catalog does not work. I really need some help, I have several thousand images to go through and I can't do anyt

Help.  Upgraded to the Lightroom v13 and now everytime I try to edit anything the bar's take off in a positive and I can control it.  Using Windows11.  Having tried fixing the graphics card & that does not seem to work.  Suggestions?

Ok.I have a 2019 MacBook Pro. I9 processor. 32gb ram, 2tb internal, and an updated graphics card.Running the latest version of LR classic. The issue spans across previous versions as well.My workflow:I import images to an external drive (we have 40+tb of external and internal drive space, I prefer to use the ultra fast M.2 drives we have with speed up to 7300😳 extremely fast)After import, we use culling software, in this case Aftershoot, for culling to get our numbers down to a manageable amount.. aftershoot will also add an xmp file along with each image, giving it a rating based on our previously selected requirements.I’ll take said catalog from there and import the images into a gallery. Depending on what type of shoot, we have different preset collections (wedding, engagement, etc. )With smaller collections within I.e. getting ready, ceremony, details,first looks, and so on.We only use 4 star or higher selected images based on our previously culling software pics.From there

I have a Canon R5 with the latest firmware. Recently I can no longer connect it to the tether function of the latest Lightroom Classic version. Until now it has always worked and suddenly it no longer works. Do you have a solution to the problem?   Ich habe eine Canon R5 mit neuster Firmware. Hi, everybody. I have a problem with Lightroom Classic (version: 14.0) that suddenly appeared yesterday. I was looking at images in a collection of DNG files in the development module. Suddenly the images started to become brighter. This happened automatically in the filmreel below, with the adjustment of brightness values moving from image to image. It also happened when I clicked on a particular file which had not been changed yet: the large image in the middle of the screen became brighter a second after selecting the image, and it remained brighter after selecting another one. The brightness values in the development module do not change however. I do not know if I accidentally hit anything on the keyboard. The history of the DNG files does not show any command - apart from the import as first step.  Only DNG files which I took with my mobile phone (Samsung S24) are affected by the automatic adjustment. Usually when selecting an image in develop module, it takes a second until the auto tone button is enabled. With the latest version of Lightroom Classic that no longer happens all the time. In fact, the button gets enabled less often than it does. This is Lr Classic 14.0.1 on Mac OS Sequoia. 

(How) can I create a smart collection containing only the photos that have AI features included? I am having some issues with AI-features non updating (AI remove and AI masks). So gathering the impacted photos in a smart collection would help.Thanks.

The update to Adobe Lightroom 14.0.0 has made it almost impossible for me to work effectively. When making adjustments to edited photos in the Develop module, the image loads first, followed by the sharpness! It’s painful to watch. It feels like image loading now happens in three stages:A preview that isn’t very useful.The sharpness of the image.The application of adjustments such as exposure, shadows, whites, blacks, etc., in relation to the previous image. With all due respect, this is no way to work. When editing wedding photos, for example, I might have 800 images to finalize. After just 100, my eyes are exhausted. The sharpness shouldn’t appear after the image itself! And the colors should load immediately as well…I have to wait an extra second after opening an image to get the correct sharpness and colors. You will cause a visual defect in people on a global scale. Please fix this. By the way, version 14 performs significantly worse than version 13. New update is crashing and causing blue screens.  The pop-up for scanning for compatibility always says my computer is fine.  I have no problem with any other Adobe product.  Only LRC

Lightroom Classic keep shutting down my iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch 2017.  The program first freezes, then after almost 25 sec it shuts down my iMac.  Use Ventura 13.7, have turned of the GPU, still shuts down. Have no external drive connected. What is wrong? And how do I solve it? Fast. 

After the upgrade to Lightroom 14.0.1 the program don't work properly. The images were missing in the folders and I had to delete and try to sync again. It is impossible to edit images as they don't appear; the grey square remains a grey square...  I cannot add "key words": they will not be saved. The program is also very slow. I finally deleted the whole program and installed it again, but it is the same.  So now I don't really know what more I can do. It seems like this upgrade was a disaster. 

Usually I shoot RAW, with an iPhone 12Pro. Yesterday I mistakenly shot JPEG. When importing the files into Lightroom, I highlighted (as always) "Copy as DNG", which says that it will "copy to new location, import, and convert to DNG". However, after importing, the files remain JPEGs. Am I interpreting this import dialog incorrectly? Is there a way to convert these to DNG after the fact? Thanks for any help.

Dear LR community, I've been using LR for years and only recently discovered that I can access the camera's color profiles via the development settings. I only came across this because I wanted to know if I could apply the Fuji film-simulations to RAW files in LR. I found that there is a significant difference between the standard “Adobe Color” profile and the respective standard camera settings (regardless of the Fuji film-simulations). The question for me now is, of course, whether I will only use the camera profiles in future. I suspect that these settings correspond to the color profiles designed by Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon etc. for the respective sensor. Using the Adobe color profile as the default seems to standardize this across multiple cameras. What would you recommend? Does it make sense to switch to the camera settings by default or should you stick with the “Adobe Color” profile if you only use LR? And I would also like to know whether the color profi

Can someone please help me! Last week i had a pop up in Lrc for a small update. I did the update but since then it work so slow.  Importating the pictures is working fine but the loading the original previews is taking forever.  Already brought my laptop to a specialist and they cleaned up the laptop from virusses and slow make anti-virus protection etc. So i am sure my laptop is not the problem (Asus Zenbook Flip 15 with ADM Ryzen 7).    Can anyone tell me what to do? I can't work on photo's when i can't see wich one i am clicking on.   

I recently upgraded my computer to more ram and a SSD drive. It's not a blazer, but worked fine other than being a bit slow. Since doing this, Lightroom will not startup after closing it once. I have to open task manger then end task, then it will start. Sometimes, but not every time, if I switch to another catalog, it will not re-open.    I even took the new drive and ram out and installed the old memory and drive and it still does the same thing, never had this issue before.I have done a clean install of windows and lightroom 4 times now and every time I have this same issue. I am also having issues importing photos, but it's random, some will import fine some it will just sit and do nothing, I even let it sit overnight, nothing.    I tried installing a GT1030 GPU, (this is an older pc)  no differenceI never had these issues so I'm at a loss of what happened here. Really need some help. Windows 10 pro, 2tb SSD, 32gb ram,  i5-3470. 

Nikon Z9 nef files trying to import from NAS.  displays an error during import :unknown error.     import setting "add" not move, or anything else... TS steps restart mac m2 try to import by "adding" from NAS. results in unknown error. Deleted files from NAS and imported AGAIN. Same result   Nikon Studio reads the files just fine. Photo mechanic reads the files just fine. Finder reads the files just fine. LRC during import fails.   So lets not go down the road of your images/files are currupt as all other apps open them just fine. This is a newspaper job that wants their pics in a timely manner.  As a professinal that makes a living as a photographer I am absolutely FED UP w/ Adobe and their Beta software. LRC is a complete POS. The last problem I had was LRC shooting tethered and after several attempts to get ADOBE to own the issue, I get the run around on how it's a APPLE problem. Mac Studio M2 Max OS 14.6 running LRC 14.0.1   yet another problem with lr. first of all, even the forums are acting funny so im almost positive this is all on adobes end, not mine. ive gotten a completely new setup and tried with different controlling variables and i am still seeing the same results. please get your act together adobe, we are tired of paying for this unusable software.    the problem: when creating a collection in classic and syncing to the cloud, the collection will show up on LR web, LR CC and LR mobile but it will not be populated with images. the images havent crept into the album yet and ive left it there overnight. i pop into LR CC and create the same collection with the same amount of photos and they sync across all devices, including back into classic, almost immediately.    i was told during my last saga with tech support (which i do not recommend to anyone, it should be illegal the type of "service" they provide) that there were "tec

Hello,   I am working with the latest update to Lightroom classic and I am getting this error when I try to import from my SD card. I have gone through and made sure that I have privileges in system settings on my 2024 MacBook Pro. I have imported before and had no issues. I can't figure out why I'm getting this error.  I've looked at previous posts with this issue and some of them can't get it fixed either.

Went to upload photos and LRC said "catalog not found" so I clicked "choose different calatlog" and this popped up? Has never happened before I upgraded last week 😭 What is happening?

After using Photoshop YEARS ago, I am now reintroducing myself to it through CC.  I have also chosen the Lightroom option as well.  I have just purchased subscription and have downloaded the Lr program.  But, I am having problems locating my pictures in Photos on my mac.  I can see a sub folder of Pictures - but this does not contain all my photos.Where or how do I get to Photos?  Or do I have to move them out of Photos and into a folder under users?  Sorry for likely inane questions....I'm hoping to keep these basic ones to a minimum.  I just couldn't find the answers anywhere online or here in the forums.
