Lightroom Classic

Windows 10 Pro 64 bitLightroom Classic 13.3On prior versions, healing done to remove spots could be synced to other images.  Since the update and heal now in the remove panel, the ability to sync spot removal has disappeared, or, I don't know how to find it.  If anybody knows how to do this, please let me know.  If it's a bug, hopefully someone from Adobe will see this.

Seit Mac Sonoma startet Lightroom Classic nicht mehr auf meinem Mac. Alle vorgeschlagenen Versuche halfen nichts. Auch jedes Update brachte keine Verbesserung. Zahle jeden Monat meinen Beitrag, aber eine Änderung kam seit einem Jahr nicht. Unter den bekannten Problemen ist leider auch nichts zu finden.Das Logo erscheint für kurze Zeit auf dem Bildschirm, verschwindet dann wieder und sonst kann ich nicht mit dem Programm machen und das für 12,00 € im Monat. 

Ever since moving my image files to a NAS I have a problem with some files for which Lightroom will not process (esp. write) metadata correctly. I have searched the forum and some other places and I have seen reports about similar problems usually with some variations, though. I have not been able to find a solution for the situation I see but I think I have narrowed down the problem. Any help would be highly appreciated. Hey y'all, I've been using adobe on and off for years and am no where a pro at it. You couldn't even call me decent. For some reason when I export the photo I have edited, all of the colours change and the image is almost unrecognizable. I've tried a lot of things and done a bunch of googling but I'm sure it is just something simple I am missing. One picture is the preview that I captured with snipping tool, the other is the export. Any help would be amazing, sorry if it is a dumb question. 

I am having difficulty locating some files in LRC. I believe it is due to the file location changing (long story everything on computer was wiped) I have shown LRC the new file location (external hard drive) and It goes into compolete meltdown and deletes my catalogue. I have two videos showing the problem in detail. HiAfter I upgraded to 13.3, all the photos made it to the new version, but:1. I don't see my file names as they were shown (at the left side library). They used to be shown as they are named on my hard drive. Now I have a list of subfoldes, and I can see the file names only if I hover the cursor on the file.2. Some of the photos show the "!" mark, and they are missing from Lightroom.Thanks,Ron

After update. when i import my cataloge in Lrc then are my files corrupt.

I am using Lightroom Classic 13.3 and Windows 11. Let's say I convert a 22 MB raw file to lossy dng with Lightroom Classic using these settings:  • If compatibility is set to Camera Raw 15.3 or later, the resulting file will be around 5 MB and will not display the corresponding image thumbnail (just a generic icon) when viewed from Windows file explorer (tested both with Win11 and Win10). Also, it will not open in any image viewer. • If compatibility is set to any other previous version (14.0 or older), then the resulting file will be around 10 MB, it will display the corresponding image thumbnail in Windows file explorer and will open in any image viewer (which will show the embedded jpeg preview in full size). This was the normal result for years, up until some version between 12.0 and 13.0 when (apparently) something changed. I am not sure when this started happening exactly, but I think it was with some version between 12.0 and 13.0. For some reason, I ended up with two different/separate catalogs that both include the same set of photos.   Therefore, some photos have edits in one catalog and other photos have edits in the second catalog. Is there anyway to combine the two catalogs without losing any edit information? Thanks for any help.

A few days ago I uninstalled LRC and upgraded to Lightroom. I was under the impression my catalog would not be touched (in fact I still see it in the folder). However, I am unable to upgrade or import the catalog into Lightroom. What can I do? I would nevec have upgraded if I knew I was going to lose my 5 year old catalog.

Not able to acces the sorting panel  in the library module after upgradation to LRC 13.3 from which we were able to sort based on metadata . It was helpful in identifying high ISO to denoise

I want to export a LRC collection to a file. I do not see any way to do this. Any suggestions? Rich

Hello I'm having issues with Lightroom classic. I am using tether capture to tether to my canon 5D mark 4. I am trying to use the auto import feature where once the photos are taken they get processed by light room, go into a "watched folder", and are then duplicated and moved into another folder/ destination of your choosing. The problem is when I take a photo its processed and goes to the watch folder. But for some reason the process where the photo is supposed to be duplicated and moved to another destination fails. please help

Liebe Community,   seit kurzem stürzt lightroom classic entweder ab (friert ein) oder es erscheinen blaue oder rote Fehlfarben. Aus meiner Sicht ist die Grafikarte in Ordnung, da andere grafiklastige Anwendungugen wie z.B. Photoshop, Capture one, Dxo oder auch Computerspiele einwandfrei ohne Fehler funktionieren.   Für eure Hilfe bin ich dankbar! Beste Grüße Günter  

Hello. I am using LrC 13.2 (I believe) on a Mac running Sonoma 14.4.1.I have many duplicate image files on my internal SSD and my external SSDs & HDDs which LrC uses. Does someone have a good 3rd party software program which can reliably identify duplicate image files which they might recommend to me?Thank you in advance for any help.Firislander.

LR 13.2 introduced many incorrectly spelled keyboard shortcuts displayed in Help, e.g. Ctrl + Tab instead of Control + Tab for Cycle Upright Mode in Windows / English, and Befehlstaste + Wahltaste + X instead of Befehl + Wahl + X for Open As Smart Object in German. The affected commands include Loupe - Locked, Cycle Upright Mode, Open As Smart Object, and Point Color Selector, with each language having at least one misspelling.The attached spreadsheet shows the complete list, with these columns: Currently Shown ShortcutShortcut That Should Be ShownCommand NameTranslatedStrings Key You can use the Any Shortcut plugin's Analyze command to find all such misspellings.  

Greetings, I'm using the latest version of Lightroom Classic, 13.2, on my Intel-based Mac Pro and MacBook Pro (running MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1).  Since last year, I've noticed an issue when importing the MacBook's Lightroom catalogue into the Mac Pro's.  After displaying the import dialogue and letting me choose the pictures, it says "Lightroom cannot import from this catalogue because of an unknown error."  See pictures attached. I've tried copying the laptop's catalogue onto the Mac Pro's desktop, and renaming it.  I've also tried ticking or unticking some options like "update metadata", etc.  Nothing works. Both catalogues pass the integrity check when I close Lightroom. Please help!  Thank you, Jf

Hello, all of the suddent when I try to import images from my hard drive or from a memory card, the "destination" is not even listed as an option.  I always import images onto my hard drive or external hard drive before editing.  Now I don't have the option. What am I doing wrong?  Screen shot included. Thanks!

I just upgraded LR Classic to version 13.3.  I am running Mac OS 14.5 (Sonoma).  LR now won't recognize my external drive where the photo files are stored.  I launch the external drive first and then open LR without effect.  The LR catalog is stored on my internal hard drive.  Any suggestions? Hello all,I updated Lightroom a few months ago to Classic CC and have been encountering issues with importing. Whenever I import a batch of photos from my memory card a preset is applied. I have never used import presets in the past so I have no idea where this preset came from. I have the 'Develop Settings' option in the 'Apply During Import' menu set to 'None' and the 'Import Preset' tab at the bottom-middle of the screen set to 'None' as well but whenever I import my photos they all have the same changes made to them once I open them up. Like I said earlier, I have never used import presets before so I have no idea where this is coming from. This is probably my 5th time using LR Classic CC and every time this has happened.Hope one of y'all can help. Thanks in advance!- Josey

Not a Lightroom specific issue, but wow was it bewildering when some random Windows 10 neurons all on their own decided to activate HDR Color on the HDMI port I use for my monitor. After a while I figured out what was going on. Just happy I wasn't stuck with it and didn't have to recalibrate the display in the middle of working on some photo sets.

Got this after upgrading to LRC 13.3. Is the catalog okay to use if I reverse the upgrade? How do I know why this happened so I can fix it? I am using macOS 13.5.2
