Bien cordialement
I have researched all possible issues but have not identified a possible yet. II have checked image mode in PS , shows as RGB, updated my graphics driver, I have uninstalled both PS and LRC, reinstalling has not fixed the issue. In PS I can import a TIFF direct and this is in colour. It only happens when I select “edit in” from LRC.
LRC will only import 10-20 ( sometimes more sometimes less as low as 5 and high as 40) pictures at a time before it either crashes my whole computer or just LRC itself. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both LRXC and the graphics card. I have tried creating a new catalog and still crashes. I have the latest updated version of Adobe and graphics card drivers. Also, it leaves behind some temporary files in the folder I am trying to import them too. I am out of ideas and LRC is for the most part unusable. If you have encountered these issues, have you been able to fix them and what did you do to fix it?
Lightroom Classic fonctionne bien sur mon iMac, mais pas sur mon MacBook Pro, alors qu’ils sont tous les 2 sous le même système, à savoir macOS Séquoia.
Please, oh please, add a simple liquify or warp tool to the Q panel! Wedding photographers adore Lightroom, but round-tripping 1500 photos over to CC just to give errant armpits and dress straps a five-second cleanup is an enormous bog. Lightroom, I love you. This is all I ask to make my world complete. Please, we beg of you, let us move some pixels!
No se entiende cómo Lr Mobile aún no tiene la opción Liquify cuando muchas otras apps la incluyen.Pagamos mucho al mes para que apenas implementen cosas a Lr Mobile.Cuándo pondrán la opción Liquify???
Would like the ability to create the grid thumbnails in grid mode outside of generating standard previews. It’s my understanding these are separate 160x106px previews. This is helpful with large collection - for example after clearing preview file. Right now, the only option is to scroll the grid view and wait for them to populate. I’ve pulled the Lightroom window out to make the window extra extra extra wide to save in having to scroll to generate, but this obviously isn’t ideal. Thank you!
I was using Lightroom v15.2 on my laptop (ASUS ProArt H7604JV, i9-13980HX, 32GB RAM, RTX4060, Win 11 Home 25H2) when I discovered that the Thunderbolt drivers were no longer installed so I couldn’t connect my second monitor. I attempted to use Windows Update to repair Windows and after the “repair” Lightroom wouldn’t open. With the task manager open I can see that Lightroom opens in background processes but never actually starts. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still nothing. I’ve tried opening backed-up catalogs and nothing. I’m going crazy trying to open lightroom so any help is appreciated!
Issue: When I save metadata from Lightroom Classic via "Save Metadata to File", I lose subsecond EXIF metadata that was originally there in the file. This is new behavior, did not happen in previous versions (though I'm not sure exactly when it started). Lightroom Classic version: 13.5 [ 202408062022-6258095b ] System version: macOS 13.6.9 To reproduce: 1) Import a photo that has a subsecond creation date—for my test, I used an iPhone photo imported via mobile sync. 2) Check SubSecTimeOriginal from the command line: $ -> exiftool -G -s -SubSecTimeOriginal /Volumes/Media/Photos/Import/Mobile\ Import/IMG_6067.HEIC [EXIF] SubSecTimeOriginal : 389 3) In LrC, run the "Save Metdata to File" command 4) Check SubSecTimeOriginal from the command line: $ -> exiftool -G -s -SubSecTimeOriginal /Volumes/Media/Photos/Import/Mobile\ Import/IMG_6067.HEIC Warning

I deleted a few empty folders in Lightroom then I went to export a picture and I got ‘folder creation failure’ soooo what did I do and how can I fix it without losing all my pictures if a reinstall?
1. Platform and Version Lightroom Classic version: 15.2.1 OS: Windows 11 Pro 2. System Environment (Multi-monitor & Scaling) Display Setup: 4 monitors (Mainly using two 2560x1440 and one 1920x1080). Windows Scaling: All monitors set to 125% scaling. GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti [cite: 2026-02-02]. 3. Steps to reproduce Open Lightroom Classic on a multi-monitor system with Windows Scaling set to 125%. Enable the Secondary Display (F11) in Full Screen mode on any additional monitor. In either the Library or Develop module, cycle through the "Lights Out" modes by pressing the 'L' key (Lights On > Dim > Lights Off). 4. Expected result The UI should dim (Lights Dim) or turn black (Lights Off) on all monitors, while keeping the image/grid area fully visible and unaffected by the dimming layer. 5. Actual result The dimming behavior is erratic and inconsistent: Total Blackout: Frequently, the photo area itself is dimmed or completely blacked out on either the main or sec
I’ve noticed that File Explorer now shows a folder called Gallery. I understand it’s a new feature. It contains thumbnails of images that have recently been put in the Pictures folder. That’s all well and good, even nice. However, I like to remove clutter and was about to clear the Gallery on the assumption that just the thumbnails will be removes, but thought I’d better check first. It turns out that deleting the thumbnails also deletes the original in the Pictures folder. That should strike fear in any photographer that uses the Pictures folder as part of their workflow. Apparently, deleting the Gallery folder can be done safely without threatening the originals but I’ve yet to try it.So, what do you think? Has Microsoft inadvertently created a potential photographer’s land mine into File Explorer or have I had too many coffees?
On version 15.2.1 of Adobe Lightroom classic, I cant get it to use my GPU. My system is a Lenovo P3 ultra with an i9-14900, 32 GB DDR5 and a Nvidia RTA A2000 12GB. I disabled the iGPU in BIOS, and lightroom preferences are set to use the GPU. I’ve tried drivers ranging from latest to two years old, and nothing has worked. I see GPU being used for some basic tasks, but not for denoise or preview generation. The system information is pasted below, any help is appreciated. My iMac is too old to update my Lightroom CC. I want to use my laptop from now on. I have it connected to an external monitorFYI>. My catalog is on my iMac but the photos are on an external hard drive.
If one takes a panorama , it can be that the photos when joined show colour differences, or haze, or glare etc, and if the join made by photoshop runs through differing areas of haze, or grass, or sky, its a fail. There is NO MEANS of opening these images anywhere and equalising the photos. Lightroom I am shown allows a reference photo to left of one being matched to it, by use of all the sliders and human eye and input. A lot of fiddling to try and marry all 12 pics. By the time you get to the 12th picture a certain amount of difference will creep in. If as I am doing, working with somobody elses photo of a pump compartment for photogrammetry, to have the same exposure/hue/tint/saturation/lightness etc for each pic, is very tricky, yet AI would solve this, lightroom doesnt even show which pic in the thumbnail strip is the one on screen ! Very bad experience. I gave in, To be able to select the images and say match to the reference shot, such is needed. A post called color match as in
On macOS is it possible to create a Keyboard App Shortcut that accesses any of the options in the Masks Panel?I’m specifically interested in creating a keyboard shortcut that “Duplicate and Invert Mask”?I’m sure the answer is no but I thought I would just check… Thanks in Advance - CES
It is important that I mark this event in the annals of the Adobe Community. Today I imported my first ever web-pee file. This happened, almost without warning, after years of screaming for this capability by near-death boomer users of Lightroom Classic.Attached is the actual image file that I imported today. I appropriated the photo from Google Images and will be exploiting it for my own purposes (now that I can find it again).I have to ask what took so long to implement this seemingly simple thing? And why all the development time spent on Develop module? How many aged LRC users do not use Photoshop? All but one? Is the one still even with us?For my last wish, why not make something akin to AnyFile plugin an integral part of LRC? I am lifetime user of AF, but the fake image file thing is laborious and prone to human error. Firefly could analyze my audio files, for example, and produce a thumbnail preview file without having to build a network of AI satellites in space. Can
I’m currently looking to get a laptop for mobile editing, as what I currently have (a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+) chugs on photos from my Sony A1 II (to no one’s surprise) and lightroom for Android doesn’t support the AI Denoise function. I currently use the AI Denoise function on around 150-500 RAW images at a time on my Windows Desktop. I have a budget of around $4000 CAD, which puts me around the price of the 16in M5 Pro MacBook Pro w/ the 48 GB memory upgrade, or I can get a Windows laptop with the following for around $3500 CAD.CPU Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: Nvidia RTX 5080 Mobile Ram: 32GB DDR5 Storage: 1TB NVME SSD (I will be editing photos off an external SSD, so 1TB should be enough)I also noticed that if I drop down to the 14-inch MacBook Pro, I can get it with the M5 chip for around $2300 CAD.Given all of that, my questions are as follows Is the M5 Pro chip worth it over the base M5 chip, especially when it comes to AI functions like Denoise? Also, is the 48GB memory upgrade
I go to the Develop tab, Remove panel. I choose “Remove” Use generative AI is checked, Detect objects is checked. I place the selector brush over the area I want to remove and attempt to drag it around a little. Immediately, it kicks into Analyze mode (did not let me drag around at all) and at the end of the analyze step, nothing is selected. Trying to log on to Lightroom Classic on my desktop. Will not load and says catalog corrupt and corrections will take several minutes. Nothing happens.
Dark mode in Windows would be very useful, I use it on my system and everything is very eye pleasing, but the LRC toolbar is still white which ends up being distracting when working on dark photos since the rest of the UI is dark. It makes no sense that the toolbar does not follow the OS system theme, or at least have a proper dark mode option in LRC settings somewhere? Pic related,t hanks!
Description: I am requesting a UI update for Lightroom to ensure all pop-up menus, specifically the "Copy Settings"dialog, respect the selected Dark Theme. The Problem: Currently, when working in the dark interface, copying settings triggers a bright white pop-up. This creates extreme visual contrast ("light flashes") that causes eye strain and breaks the editing flow, especially in low-light environments or during long professional sessions.Proposed Solution: Update the "Copy Settings" and "Paste Settings" dialog boxes to have a dark background and light text, matching the rest of the Lightroom Pro/Classic interface. Why it matters: Consistency in UI is crucial for professional photo editing. A unified dark mode will improve accessibility and reduce eye fatigue for millions of users who prefer working in a dark environment.
