I just updated my LrC to v 12.4 this morning and now when I try to copy/paste settings in the develop tab to a new photo, the new photo is hazed out and flat looking. If I reset the settings and put them in manually, it looks correct, so it has to be an issue with the copy/paste. Please help this is slowing down my work flow tremendously. PC, Windows 10
I am still trying to get LR Classic to work on new PC; every step is a new problem. I got my catalog onto C drive finally but now when opening get two error messages: “...issue with AI edits. Future edits may not be saved...” and more seriously, “lightroom encountered an error when reading from its previous cache and needs to quit.” I have tried everything online as to how to fix this and nothing changes. Any advanced ideas out there? Thanks.
Hello,Recently I bought a Windows 11 laptop specifically for using Lightroom and Photoshop. It's not state of the art high end, but the specifications made me think it would be enough to use Lightroom in a way that would be fast enough for me and my camera (Canon R5 MK2):13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H 2.4ghz32 GB RAMGeForce RTX 40501TB SSDI have only been using it for 2 months and my catalog is very new and small. However: when starting up LR classic the welcome screen shows up shortly and then the screen stays grey for over 30 seconds. After that it takes another 20 seconds to build up all windows of the app and finally show the picture that was open when I closed it. Is it normal that it takes almost a minute to start up on a laptop like this? After that it's still quite laggy and it all feels like I'm running an old computer. When I check my Task Manager while starting up, the processor performance has a very little spike at clicking the LR button and after that it stays at around 6% fo
Don’t have access to old computer. Any work around with this. Its Lightroom 6.
Dear Adobe, I shoot headshots for business people who use their photos on Linkedin and social media which employs a round image window. Having a simple circular view within a 1 x 1 crop would be most ideal, rather than having to create a Radial Mask just to see it. Thanks,John
Hi, I’m using LR Classic (version 15.1.1 on MacOS) and was wondering if there’s a way in preferences or settings to turn off the Undo/Redo pop-up notifications? The pop-up is extremely distracting when editing and sometimes even blocks the area I'm editing. Thanks for any help or tips. Best,Thomas
After installed the macOS 26.4 beta 1 when I try to open LrC this message is coming:
Hello,I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to make VSCO profiles & Lightroom Classic CC/ACR work with newer cameras that have yet to be updated by VSCO? Especially given the near-discontinuation of VSCO I think many would be interested in finding a workaround for this. I've tried a number of different things but no luck.To be clear my problem isn't with presets but rather the VSCO camera profiles.Things I've tried:1. renaming copies of existing VSCO Nikon profiles with the name of the new camera (i.e. Nikon d810>>>Nikon Z7 & Nikon d810>>>Nikon Z 7)2. Importing profiles via the dialogs in Lightroom Classic CC and ACR in PS CC 20193. deleting the Index.dat file in the CameraProfiles folder4. Moving profiles from CameraProfiles into the CameraSettings folderIncidentally, I'm on a Mac running LR Classic CC 8.1. I'm specifically working with Nikon Z 7 files but I imagine that the solution would be essentially the same for any given camera. Thanks in advance
When the Generative AI spot removal has been done before Denoise is applied, the removed areas that have been treated with the Remove tool aren’t treated. However, when Denoise is applied first, the Removal treats those areas properly.
in Dev and Library mode: metadata is not showing up (spinning wheel constantly), keywords constantly say ‘working’ (grayed out), ratings not showing, nor stacking groups, or even the stack icon on top left. when helper file gets deleted, issue is resolved initially, and then breaks again. When rating images, if any rating shows, it does not get updated. LR 15.1.1 OS Version Number: 15.7.3
So, not a question as such, but after months of slow switching between photos on my top-of-the-line Macbook M5 w 32GB RAM & 2TB SSD HDD (it could take 20 seconds waiting for the next photo to show, using keyboard arrows), I have finally solved this extremely annoying issue.I have all files stored locally on my HDD, backing up to Dropbox.I pause Dropbox sync before opening LR.Lightning fast switching in Dev mode :-)I assume it’s the same for OneDrive; pause sync while working. Resume sync after finished your work in LR.Happy days
In Lightroom version 15.1.1, when I try to select photos in the Library window, the program freezes, forcing me to force a task, as I can't close it otherwise. This only happens with version 15.1.1; it doesn't happen with other versions.

Hello,Can the AI "Remove Distracting Elements" be supplemented with the "Construction Cranes" function? It takes a lot of effort to remove all the annoying construction cranes individually. Thanks
For example, if I have 40 photos on my SD card but only want to import 10, which setting in the Lightroom Import window allows me to filter the view so that only the selected photos are shown, hiding the remaining 30?
I can still print from Photoshop to the Epson 3880 as usual and from other non-Lightroom programs, but not from Lightroom.. I am running Windows 11 and LIghtroom 15.1., build 202601141538-a543b18a.. When I try to print to the Epson printer from Lightroom, the printing dialog box come up, but there is no spooling and it seems to abort prematurely. I reloaded the 3880 drivers, but no change. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.
This was a thread that Mr Flohr had acknowledge matched an internal bug, but now it’s completely gone. Adobe released a bug fix update this month yet the bug remains. So I don’t know what is going on here but it’s pretty frustrating and insulting. Even with “Analyze photos of selected source...” disabled in catalog settings, and with the AI-assisted culling panel hidden, the message “Enable AI Analysis in Catalog Settings to use Assisted Culling” appears ON TOP OF THE CURRENT PHOTO while in develop mode. Obviously if you use Lightroom as your primary professional editing software, having a message appear ON TOP OF THE PHOTO which, when dismissed, simply reappears often after only a few seconds, is not ideal. This happens most frequently when command-L is used to enable and disable filtering. I’m on the most-recent version of lightroom and the most-recent update of macos Sequoia. I am not going to waste my time deleting settings, reinstalling, disabling plugins, all of that stuff - I h
Yesterday I took my first photos with my Sony Alpha 7 V, and before importing them into Lightroom, the images still looked normal—just as I had seen them in the camera. After the import, I noticed blue clipping. I then opened the image in Sony’s Image Edge software, and the RAW files do not show this clipping there. I’ve attached a screenshot—one from the Sony program and one from Lightroom using the beta profile. Could I have overlooked some setting, or could this actually be caused by the beta profile? On the left side, the image is opened as a RAW file in Image Edge, and on the right side is the latest version of Lightroom using the beta profile. Both images are unedited.Node: These are Not Highlight/Shadow clippings. Its the Harsh Blue thats overlaping and somehow not showing correctly.Node2: The Raw File when looking at it in the Sony A7V is looking fine colourwise!
I don't know how this works. I need to talk to someone!!! This kind of support is awful!!! Apparently Adobe no longer wants to talk to anyone and doesn't want anyone to report bugs. I'm running LR Classic version 14.3.1. I moved some photos from one directory (folder) to another. That worked. But now when I try to rate them with stars, for example pressing "3" for 3 stars, it complains that metadata is corrupted with the little exclaimation mark in upper right corner of thumbnail. It has options to repair (like copy from disk), and none work. The only work around I found is to remove from LR, delete the sidecar file, import back into LR, and edit it again in the new directory. I did not have this bug until I upgraded from a previous version to 14.x couple months ago. I ran into this bug a in earlier version of 14.x, but couldn't figure out what happened, so upgraded to 14.3.1 and same bug. I need to
I have made many Blurb books over the past (10?) years or so but recently the quality of the books has become really bad. I’m constantly having to contact their customer service to have books reprinted because of errors (like lines, misaligned color plates, dark images (same file on cover printing a stop darker than in interior of book, second printing of books completely different color to first “test” printing etc) or even just the books getting crushed in their packaging before they get to me?Why does adobe continue the relationship with such bad quality? Does anyone have any recommendations for other book printing services? (I have used MILK in NZ who are really good but very expensive)?
After clean install of Win11 and reinstall of LRC and Photoshop, the icon for .XMP file is gone. Not a very big problem, but I was used to that icon, and find it a little confusing with both .XMP and .acr showing just blank sheets. Any solution?
Trying to import files from Sony A1II, and Lightroom classis says “preview unavailable for this file” and will not import. Lightroom Version 14.0.1Camera Raw Version 17.0 Creative Cloud says “up to Date” Googled and tried what I could find
I have photos organized in Windows under the Picture directory. When I add new photos, I manually copy them into an appropriate folder and then use Import in Add mode to add them to the catalog. I really want Lightroom Classic to only show in the Navigator files from the Pictures directory, and in fact only files from selected folders within it, the ones I have explicitly imported. What I see is that Lightroom is somehow importing files from directories that are in the same Drive, but under Documents or another same-level folder in the drive, not Pictures. I never manually imported any of these files. Most are icons that are associated with an installed program and are not photos I took. These completely pollute the Navigator window, as shown below:I don’t know whether this is a bug or whether it is functioning as designed. But in any case, I would like LIghtroom Classic to allow me to have my preferred workflow in which only photos and folders I have added via the Import dialog are eve
When reviewing my photos for editing I select multiple images and rate them with stars (1, 2, 3, etc.) but after I rate multiple images at the same time Lightroom jumps back up. It’s very annoying because then I have to go back down and continue reviewing. Can you fix it, please?
Canon R6mii does not work with tethered shooting with LrC 15.1.1 running on macOS Tahoe 26.2 in combination with Firmware camera firmware 1.6.0.I have tried reset of setting on my camera also USB connection mode. If I set to import/remote it will only shows a computer symbol and charging.
