I have 3 iPads with Lr iOS Mobile. When I play a slideshow from an album of photos, 2 of the iPads (oldest and newest) give me a choice of 3 transition types. (Three dots top right) but the one I want to use as a picture frame only gives me 1 (wipe) transition. This same iPad used to show me all three transition types. I want the "flip" transition. How do I get it back? I am using the same set of photos to test with all three iPads, I have deleted the app and re downloaded with restart and have logged in and out of my adobe cloud membership. I used both adobe chat and a phone call without any results and I was upset when I got the summary from the phone call that said the case is "closed". v10.3.0
Reviewing photos on mobile is my main use case for the mobile app, but currently the app does not allow you to say in just a review mode if you want to go back to the grid. I frequently want to star or flag photos, then go back to the grid to go to other photos. Current state the app forces you back into a develop/edit mode, then you have to hit back again to go back to the grid. Then viewing a single photo takes you into develop again, where you have to hit the menu to get back to info and rating mode. This is a huge slowdown in workflow when just trying to review and not edit photos. I think they should either be entirely separate modes that you explicitly switch between like desktop, or at a minimum it should stay in the info and rating mode once you enter it and hitting back should take me back to the grid and of I view another photo from the grid it should still be in info and rating until i explicitly switch to an edit mode.
Can someone explain to me how come I can edit HDR photos in Lightroom, but cannot export them in HDR? I've seen someone on Reddit saying that you can only export in HDR in Lightroom Classic, but not in the "new" Lightroom. I don't like the classic Lightroom at all, and I find the new Lightroom waaay more user-friendly and intuitive. Even Lightroom Mobile gives me the option to export in HDR, so why is this option not available in the "new" Lightroom? Very frustrating... Thanks, BR, Robert
Lightroom keeps stopping even after paying for the premium version i am not able to download my edited videos.I have complained about it a lot of times. Given feedbacks bt they are not doing anything about it.
So, yesterday I used AI Denoise on a photo, worked great. I've been through EVERY existing debug, uninstall reinstall, check for updates, convert from ARW to DNG. Check for compression, nothing. I tried it on THE SAME original photo I used it on yesterday. No go. I'm getting an error that AI denoise isn't compatible with my file type. But it has been, for dozens of photos. Now no. I changed no settings in LR and none in my A6400, they still exported as ARW files as usual. Just super confused. Paid to upgrade to LRC because it was a recommended possible fix. So I've over paid this month and still can't use the feature, HELP
Open the RAW data synced from Lightroom Classic in the mobile version of Lightroom.Even if lens correction is enabled, the lens correction will remain enabled in the image before correction that is displayed when you tap and hold the image. Currently installed versions:Lr (desktop): 7.3LrC: 13.3Ps: 25.9Camera Raw: 16.3Desktop: iMac mini M2 Pro, macOS Sonoma 14.5 I've installed the Calibrite Colorchecker Camera Calibration software successfully and have created camera Profiles for both my iPhone 15 Pro Max and Nikon Z 6 II in Camera RAW and Adobe Photoshop. I have also got the same camera Profiles working in Adobe Lightroom Classic (LrC). However, I can't get the Profiles to display in Adobe Lightroom (desktop version) (Lr). I thought that both versions of Lightroom on a desktop iMac were powered by Camera Raw and hence the Profiles would be available in Lr. I am aware that this sort of issue was highlighted in Q3/4 2023. Is this still a known issue and limitation?

I have a folder with 614 photos that I made into a collection - I have 614 photos in that collection on my laptop and everything is synced but when I open that collection on my iPad it only has 600. I have turned off syncing and re-synced and it still only has 600 photos. What am I missing?
In the {Photo} menu is a sub menu item called {Auto Advance}. When checked, I assumed it would behave like Auto Advance in Lightroom Classic. And after a fashion it does. If I choose a rating number or a flag hot key, the selected image will Auto advance. In Lightroom Classic you can add an image to the target collection with the hot key "B" and the image selection will auto advance. In Lightroom Desktop, the target album hot key is "T" but pressing that key does not auto advance. Can Adobe expand the Auto Advance option to include adding an image to the Target Album?
LRCloud - RTX 4070, Intel i9-14900KF , 32GB RAM - keeps crashing every 5-10 minutes into my workflow (typically when i start to open a mask or make the pc perform). This is new and super frustrating to have the Lr constantly crash any tips? I am in studio graphics card drivers from Nvidia. Is this an intel issue? I'm losing my mind.
I know long exposure mode is a tech preview but have been using successfully for last few years and up until yesterday. Opened newly updated app today (v.8.4.0) on iPhone 14 Pro and appears to have disappeared? Am I missing something? Where is this incredibly productive feature to be found?
Lightroom is exporting all photos in my stacks. When I got to export "26" final edits, I select all stacks, and go to export "26" photos, then when it goes to the export window it shows "Export 57" photos. It exports the final edit along with all the changes and nr photos. I don't know how to change this and this has never been an issue.
Hello, as a photographer on cars events, I need to put a Watermark on my pictures. Unfortunatly, there's no option to put it on the Android Lightroom version... During the events, I print directly photos for the car owners, and the watermark is, at m'y opinion, necessary. I've seen other request since 2020, like this post : https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/le-filigrane-sur-les-applications-lightroom/m-p/11028987#M25909 Why nothing has changed ? 😞 (Thread title edited by Moderator)

Today I noticed for the first time under the {Clean Up} sidebar menu a filter item labeled {"Clutter"}. Clicking on this does generate a grid view of images that might be considered "unnecessary". My question is what is the criteria that Adobe uses to determine "Clutter"? I can see that this feature might be useful. But the images displayed are out of context and there is no relationship to the setting in which they were taken. Why is this feature not available on Lightroom Desktop or Lightroom mobile?
I recently applied Lightroom’s Adaptive Blur preset to a full shoot of 180 photos. Everything looks perfect in the Develop module (RAW preview), but once exported to JPEG (100% quality), I’m seeing visible outlines or gaps around fingers, hair, and bodies—almost like a halo or edge artifact. I understand this preset doesn’t create an editable mask—it just applies strong effects like extreme negative Texture and Clarity. I’ve tried exporting as 16-bit TIFF, JPEG at max quality, and even checked on a more powerful machine, but the issue persists. I’m looking for the most efficient fix since this is a large batch. Ideally something that doesn’t require going photo by photo with detailed brushwork. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to batch-soften the effect or update the preset without re-editing from scratch? I've attached a couple examples where the issue is quite obvious.
Just come back from a trip with 4000 images. Camera was mis-functioning and resetting date so many images have the wrong capture date. I have spent two days trying to correct but cannot. I select multiple images change date and only one image changes. I have Lightroom v8.3.1This is further confused by the fact that some genius has given the same name to multiple programs, making seeking online help difficult.Anybody?
Hi,I'm using the latest cloud-based version of Lightroom (not Classic), and I noticed something that makes no sense from a workflow perspective. When you delete a photo, it goes into the "Deleted" folder with a countdown (e.g., “59 days remaining”) — but Lightroom hides the file name, even though it clearly retains it internally (as it shows up again after restoring). This becomes a real problem: I want to restore a specific image because I know its filename (e.g., DSC_4025.jpg), but I can’t identify it in the deleted folder without restoring everything blindly. For professionals working with large sets, this is a serious limitation — especially when filenames are the only clue to identify files after cleanup. Please consider fixing this: just displaying the filename and maybe basic metadata (like star rating or capture date) in the Deleted section would make a big difference. Thanks.
I've searched for this and can't find an answer. I'm using Lightroom 8.3.1 on MacOS Land trying to export two batches of jpgs from raws in the cloud, one batch at print resolution and one for web. I can't figure out how to do any useful export naming to distinguish the two batches of files and keep which raw they came from. In DxO and CaptureOne I've been able to build templates like filename_print.jpg and filename_sm.jpg to distinguish the resolutions. In Lightroom the "Custom" setting doesn't seem to inlude the filename with the custom text. All I can get it to do is "print1.jpg" "print2.jpg" and so forth. I must be missing something. Are there fields I can use in the "Custom" box to get normal custom names and if so where can I get a list of them? Thanks
I am writing to express my appreciation for the dual-monitor support feature in Lightroom. Building upon this functionality, I would like to suggest an enhancement that could further improve the user experience. Real-Time Preview Across Devices It would be highly beneficial to have a feature that enables real-time synchronization between two devices running Lightroom. Specifically, when editing an image on one device, the second device would display the edited version simultaneously. This functionality would allow users to: Compare HDR and SDR Outputs: View the same image in High Dynamic Range (HDR) on one device and Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) on another, facilitating precise adjustments for different display technologies. Before and After Comparisons: Instantly compare edited images with their original versions across two screens, aiding in more accurate editing decisions. Evaluate Color and Brightness Across Displays: Assess how edits appear on different devices, ensuring con
When I first installed Lightroom, I had (2) 15" VGA (Dell 15" LCD &Acer 15" LCD) monitors pluged into the built in graphics controler & I was able to use 1 for the filmstrip, controls, etc... and the other for the image I was working on. When I upgraded to a single Acer 24 LCD wide screen HD monitor with a Raedeon HD 5450 2GB graphics card, I disconnected both of the other VGA/LCD monitors. After doing some work in Lightroom, I missed having the abilty to have the image on a seperate screen. So, I installed one of the old monitors. However, now Lightroom will only let me work on 1 screen. When I look at the "System Info" window, it says I only have (1) display. Can anyone tell me how to get Lightroon to detect my 2nd monitor? Running Windows 10 Pro, Intel Core i7-4790 CPU, 16GB RAM
Hi, Due to the confusing name changes on the Lightroom products, I'm having a problem finding an answer on any of the fora! Currently using the programme in the subject and would like to use 2 monitors on my iMac setup. Is there any way to do this yet? Many thanks in advance!
In Lightroom mobile: Is there any way to keep the watermark in the "Add Border and Share" option? Makes no sense that you decide to remove that from that option but to keep the same for all the other share/export options.
