Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Mac Studio with M2 Ultra, 64 RAM, latest MacOS 15.3.2. LR catalogue has always been stored on a RAID of two SSDs connected via Thunderbolt 3. For the last 6-12+ months I've been experiencing slowdowns of the app when it has been running for a while. This shouldn't be a hardware resources issue as I monitor the ram and cpu and they are not even at half of their power. I'm attaching screenshot just for example. Marked in yellow the SSD raid used for LR catalogue.  What happens is that suddenly the app starts to lag a lot. Scrolling photos in grid view and opening/closing/zooming a photo is most noticable. Drawing masks is also very affected.  What fixes the issue is to quit and reopen the app. Yes, quick and easy, but I've been doing it for the last 6-12 months and been hoping Adobe will fix this eventually, which never happened, so I decided to finally post about the issue.  What I've tried is to reinstall the app. 

1. 20250201-0700-1b120952. Windows 113. After I remove something from a photo using the brush AI removal tool, I can no longer click into a photo to edit it. I have to quit and relaunch to edit again.4. Can freely switch between grid and edit view per normal operation of lightroom. Thanks!

Hello! There was a problem with the subscription, the App Store says that the subscription is valid. But in the app it says expired. All my presets, all my work and efforts are gone. And I need to give my processed photos to my clients. I am very much asking you to correct this mistake and restore my presets and photos. I am desperate. I will be very grateful if you can help me. The blur tool is making one of my son's hands blurry. Is there a way to make his hand part if what is focused?

I am using LR on the desktop (NOT LrC). It is the latest version (V 8.2) on an iMac running the latest version of Sequoia. For some reason I don’t see the option in preferences to turn on “technology previews”. It seemed to be there at one point but not there now.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. What else can I try?

Hello, I have a question on Lightroom. When I was using my old laptop, I used to get this page on my screen. (see attachment). However, after changing to my new laptop, the LR page is so different from what I'm used to. Can someone please advise how I can get back to my old screen? Thanks/ Herman

I have just run 160 of my best work thru LR for the first time!  Love it!When I open them in my desktop of course LR is already there.  How can I copy them to a flash drive?  Do the LR edits go with the photo files?

I'm having this problem on one of my computer - an iMac, running Lightroom CC.One picture is never syncing out of over 65,000.I've tried all the tricks described here in old and recent threads including Option-click on the cloud icon but when I click on View it does not show anything for the stubborn photo that isn't syncing.I've tried exiting and deleting the catalog, completely uninstalling and re-installing Lightroom CC.I see in the various threads suggestions this is an old and fixed problem, that the threads are out of date, and to start a new thread if I have the problem, so I am doing that.   Please help!

I am unable to export images or edit them in Photoshop from Lightroom, as the options are completely greyed out (screenshot attached). I have already reinstalled both Lightroom and Photoshop, but the issue persists.   [moved from bugs to discussions in accordance with the community rules - Mod.]

I went onto the app a few days ago to continue some editing and all of my previous edits were gone. My presets have also disappeared. I use the basic plan (I don't pay for anything) for my cloud storage so I know I have limited space. However, anything that isn't saved to the cloud should be saved locally, so I'm unsure what has happened. It also says I have only used '429.5 MB of 5.0 GB' cloud storage. A few days later, a small group of my edits and presets came back, but not nearly close to everything by any means. I tried restarting lightroom mobile, logging in and out, restarting my phone, trying on Wifi instead of my mobile data, but to no avail. It would be GREATLY appreciated if I could get some help on this please, thanks.

This is becoming super frustrating and continues to drive me to the brink of madness. Attached is the photo i'm editing in LR Mobile on the left (which has the correct color and contrast, detail etc) and when i save it to my Iphone 13 Pro you can see the color is chalky, washed, and loss of contrast; on the right. This is one unacceptable and infuriating, to spend all this money on equipment and software just to get an inaccurate photo is mind boggling. I have also turned off my 'HRD' settings in my Photos app so this is the direct comparison. Any help is super appreciated!!!

When I am on vacation, I am using Lightroom for Android to edit my best shots before I will edit all of them back home.As soon as I edit a raw file, Lightroom will create a copy of that original file such that I will have that file twice on my smartphone. One time on the original file path and one time on the Android App path. Additionally to that, Lightroom will upload the raw file to the cloud. That behavior causes the smartphone storage as well as the cloud storage to fill quickly.I would much prefer if I could choose to just import a smart preview / proxy to the Android path as well as the cloud. This matches the behavior of synchronizing a collection in Lightroom CC and will save on smartphone and cloud storage.

I recognized, that the Lightroom App changes the capture time for a photo, if my smartphone is in a different time zone during important than the camera was when taking the photo. Example: I am traveling to Indonesia and taking photos with timezone of my camera set correctly to Indonesia. Back home I am importing a photo into the Lightroom App, but since my smartphone is in a different time zone now (e.g. +5), Lightroom changes the capture time also to the original one +5.   [moved from bugs to discussions in accordance with the community rules - Mod.]

HiAfter editing a photo on my iPad LR and send to gallery, I come out, go to gallery to tweek photo.I then open LR again to find the screen is frozen on an old photo. It is always the same photo.I then have to restart the iPad to get moving again.

Hello!Yesterday I was working on my Lightroom as always. No issues, nothing new. Today however when I launched the app I observed an issue consisting of smaller issues (sorry for PL language on screens - chaning language didn't work. Screens named after points they refer to):1. both my local and cloud galleries didn't show up at all. No numbers next to folders, no way of selecting local folders and giving more permissions. Nothing.When I go to https://lightroom.adobe.com/ I can see all my cloud photos and editions wihtout any problem.2. https://www.adobe.com/files/ does not show any of my LR files - only PS files. LR is not even listed amongs apps filter there. 3. When I open Preferences in CC, my cloud storage status shows correcly. LR is not able to load that data (as it wouldn't be able to load anything at all apart basic UI - it just freezes on "count in process").4. After some time out LR trying to connect to cloud it crashes with 'Lightroom initializ

. I have the following issue with my Sony Alpha 1 II: When I change the white balance, whether on my phone, iPad, or MacBook, the photo is always displayed incorrectly in the online link. As you can see in the video, the photo is only displayed incorrectly online. I suspect that the RAW files are being processed incorrectly, as I only have this issue with the Alpha 1 II files and not with any other camera.

When I click on my profile in the Lightroom community, (on the iPad app) I get blsck screen with the following messsge. "Something went wrong. Please try again after some time." This has happened as long as I have had Lightlightroom. (About 3 weeks now)

I've just started using the free version of the iPhone Lightroom app. I took some photos using Lightroom but I don't know how to find where they're stored. I can only see the ones taken by the iPhone camera app.

Thank you for listening to us users, I've seen app changes I've asked for and it's just amazing that u take the time to improve your amazing program! I don't really use the preset profiles, I mean as a Lightroom user why the heck would I?😂 but also, when ever I had the urge to try and go and flip through the nice presets I get into a situation: I pick a profile, but I can't unpick it!  So I'm stuck with a profile and need to either go back, reverse, which is a mess if you've been going through many of the profiles 😂 my way to get rid of the profile is to just reset to import. Still there's is room for an easy improvement here. If I can add an profile, I should be able to remove just as easily as I added it. Other than that, thank you for making a great raw file editor on iPad, love you for it!  

I accedently clicked the favorite star to off on the adaptive color profile.  Now I can't find it anyway.  How do I restore it?
