Since Lightroom added the "local" tab (abilitly) to editr locally i completly switched from the Classic version to this. The biggest problem is it only exists on the "desktop" versions.Considering for example how powerfull the new iPads are, how much storege they can get and also the ability to access external drives, why is this feature missing from the mobile version?Please add it to the iPad version, it would be a game changer for on the fly edting without worring about cloud access and space
What the hell is happening in Lightroom sync? It is taking more than on week uploading 1,7k pics... It was faster before... I have a fast internet connection (90mps download and 30mbs upload).... {Thread renamed by moderator}
Hi, I edit quite a lot of pictures on the go, in the Lightroom Mobile app, every once in a while I want to clean my Lightroom cloud - download the photos on a Windows PC and store them on a external hard drive.The problem is, I can't download full resolution, edited files on to my PC. I can download low resolution edit, "high" resolution edit (~2.5Mb), and unedited original picture (~`10Mb). In the Mobile app, I am able to download an edited picture in full size of around 10Mb. For some reason, I can't do the same on the PC, it always compresses the images.Downloading them into my phone and then uploading on PC to store them on a hard drive would be a huge pain in the ass, since I am using an iphone with a windows PC.
Nach dem Update auf 8.2 bleibt die Anwendung bei jeder Aktivität hängen. Klickt man bei Personen auf eine einzelne Person crasht die Anwendung.
I can't drop new files into LightroomI was able to do so in previous versions.What can I do about this issue?
I am running LightroomCC 8.1 on a 64 bit Windows Desktop. Lightroom gives me this message and freezesAn Unknown Error Occurred while Moving Your photo: Method Request Called on Closed Proxy: WFWorkerThread (WFRxDocStore Message Processor.lua I have replaced the Local Catalog.mcat file several times each time the download from the cloud begins and gets well into the download when the message appears and I have to close the app.I have also unistalled and reinstalled the app several times but that did not solve the problem.Any ideas? thanks
Previously when I connected my SD card to my iPad and imported into LR, the import screen would show me which images I had already imported in previous sessions (assuming I hadn't cleared my card since my previous import). Today when I ran an import, the import screen did not indicate that any images had been previously imported (even though many had). Is this a bug? Is anyone else seeing this issue?
I've been trying to export multiple DNG files to Lightroom and then Google Drive on iPhone 14 Pro. They start out around 90 to 100 mb in my files on iPhone, I export them to Lightroom, and whether I make any edits or not, when I export them out of Lightroom, the app shows they are only around 50 to 60 MB. I'm just getting into photography and learning the file types and compression, but I am selecting DNG as the export option and there is no other settings that appear can be changed. Anyone know how to fix this? I want to be able to use Lightroom and not lose any quality in my photos. All the photos are starting from a microSD that is directly connected to my iPhone. I am able to upload those with no change in file size directly to Google Drive so it seems light room is what causing the compression.

Hi , suddenly on my screen displaying a preview of pictures in a folder is is overlayed with the metadata, I use the web version of lightroom, can this be removed?

I was on the newest version of lightroom when it first started to not work (8.2) but I also tried going back a version to 8.1 to test if it was also broken on that version Last night I was editing pictures and for some reason when i went to select the people in the image it put boxes around all of them instead of selecting the people.today when i tried to click on person or object select, it selected a solid box around the person instead of just the person.I tried going back a version and the problem still wasn't fixed I did find a work around for nowI found that if I select the person and then select each part of the person inside of the person select then it works but I still havent found a work around for the object select My laptop specs are:Windows 11Intel core ultra 9 185H32gb of ramIntel arc graphics (integrated graphics) 16gbrtx 4070 (i usually have it turned off and just use integrated) In the screenshots, the green selection was version 8.2 and the red sel
Hi, since upgrading to Lightroom Desktop 8.2, I can no longer send multiple images to external programs (such as Helicon Focus) using the "Edit in" menu or contextual menu. I can select a image and send to Topaz, Helicon, etc, but when I select two or more images the entire "Edit in" sub-menu is greyed out (even the browse option).Screenshots of submenu for single and multiple selections attached.I am using a MacBook Pro M3, with OS Sequoia 15.3.1, Lightroom v. 8.2.
Hi All, Noticed something very odd with my images once updating Lightroom to 8.2 on my Macbook lastnight - colours immediately seemed washed out and almost desaturated. Slept on it, then updated my PC in the morning with a before and after screenshot to make sure I wasn't insane - and as attached, the photo looks wildly different (histogram included) and the *ONLY* change is the actual Lightroom version - this is extremely confusing and concerning, as this example is present in *ALL* of my backed up photos and has drastically changed the appearance of them. What the heck has happened here?
I've got a brandnew Huawei P10 lite and installed the latest Lightroom CC (Android).When I take a photo in RAW, it first seems OK in the preview.But when I look at it later (after it is stored on the mobile as well as in the Adobe cloud) all colours are inverted (e.g. red becomes blue, blue is red, green is yellow, and so on).I cannot find any setting where I can correct this error.It is only happening when I take the photo in raw format. When I change to jpeg it is ok.I know that it has to do with the interpretation of the raw format - but how can I change this misbehavior?Thanks for any support - Roland
I had to delete and re-sync some 90K pictures from the LR cloud. It took a week to resync all pictures which worked out fine. But now quite a few of the albums in the cloud are empty. Stopping the synchronisation in LR classic and restarting just results in disappearing and appearing as empty again in the cloud. I have been in contact with Adobe Support to no avail. I have done a backup in LR classic and resynched from that. I have deinstalled both LR classic and LR and reinstalled them from scratch, to no avail. Anyone experiencing the same problem here?
I have been using the paid version of lightroom app for over two years and I had about 2000 pictures. Last week, when I opened the app, all photos seemed to have disappeared. Upon syncing to the cloud the app was only able to recover about 1200 images from the cloud, a lot of which I had previously deleted. In addition the pictures were unedited although I had edited them previously. Only photos upto the year 2023 are available and the year 2024 is missing. What to do?
I'm trying to additionally edit a photo which I took with Sony a7iii and edited with the desktop Lightroom version. If I try to add some other enhancements on either Xiaomi 11i or Xiaomi Pad5 some photos become inverted (see attachments).So in the file grid they look nirmal, but when I try to edit them - they are inverted. The photo from the file viewer. The inverted photo in the editor.
I'll start with my original question, then follow up with the *real* problem, which I'm now stuck in. Adobe's documentation for version 8.2 saysView and compare two images or your edits' before and after versions with the new Compare View. This is weird. Compare view is not new in Lightroom - we've had it for a year. How is it "new?" I can't see anything new about it. I am interested in the ability to compare before/after for the same image, as that line implies. But I can't find a way to do it. If I select a single image and enter Compare view, it automatically compares it to the next image, not the same image. What's changed? And how do we do a Compare on the same image? Update: OK I figured out that if I right-click a thumb and select Compare Before and After it does work. Almost hidden option, but OK. But... next I want to do a normal compare between two images and can't - it seems to be stuck on Compare Before and After and I can no longer do a normal comp
Dear Adobe Community,Today has been an incredibly sad day for me—I can’t even put into words how powerless I feel.I'm not sure where things went wrong, but I'll try to explain what happened in the hope that someone from Adobe might see this and be able to help.My old company recently shut down. We had an Adobe Teams account that managed all employee accounts. I used my personal account within that system to store my Lightroom photos—both professional work and personal memories, including weddings, birthdays, and other significant events.Because all my data was tied to that account, I decided to remove it from the company’s Teams account so I could continue using it independently.I attempted to purchase a new personal subscription using my PayPal account, but it wasn’t possible. After several calls with Adobe support, I was informed that my account was locked to a U.S. region due to an Adobe Stock purchase. This complicated things significantly.I then spent multiple hours with Roland fr

I'm also having a big issue with regards to external track pad support in LR Mobile for iPad. Not so much as it doesn't work at all, because it does, but it does not work in any of the side personas such as within the Masking and the Remove personas. My Apple track pad works fine in the main persona, but as soon as you pop into another all pinch zooming is gone. My work environment is as follows: I have my M2 6th gen iPad Pro 12.9 plugged into an Asus ProArt display PA279CRV in the required keyboard configuration. I have my iPad docked in a Magic Keyboard folio with a Anker 565 11-in-1 USB C Hub. From there I have my ProArt disply hooked up VIA Displayport. I use all three external Apple Keyboard, Magic Mouse and track pad. I just wish that one last thing I need the most would come in the next update, that there would be track pad support accoss all functions in LR Mobile for iPad regardless of what persona you are in.
