Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Bought the SIGMA 70-200 2.8 DG DN OS for my Sony A7III about a month ago, and I am currently wondering if the lens correction in lightroom is over brightening / adjusting the vignette correction. Any thoughts? Anyone else who is experiencing this problem? Is there a update on the way? Added JPG out of camera, RAW edited without correction and RAW edited with correction.

Importing photos from WhatsApp into Lightroom Classic is not working. It used to work well before. I'm using Samsung A52a. Have there been any updates to Adobe (Bridge, LR, PS) that could be causing the issue with transferring photos from WhatsApp to Lightroom not working anymore?

I am trying to apply the Lens Blur feature to a photo. Upon clicking Apply, it says that it needs to update the AI settings. I’ve encountered significant performance issues using Lightroom on my iPad Pro (M4, 11") when working with 60MP DNG files from my Leica M11.To maintain a reasonable editing workflow, I’ve resorted to pausing sync before downloading images from my SD card. This allows me to complete edits without extreme delays. However, once images are synced, editing slows down drastically—functions often become unresponsive, and in many cases, the app stalls entirely.As a temporary workaround, I’ve started restarting Lightroom every time I need to edit a synced image. I was having trouble getting watermarks on my images using Lightroom for Android. Somebody gave me a little help and told me to try something and it seemed to help but the other night I was out and I took about 20 or so photos with my Google pixel 9 Pro and when I got home I decided to edit them and then add the watermark with Lightroom. I followed the same steps on each photo and about half of them worked and half of them never got the watermark on them. So it just doesn't seem to work consistently and I don't know why. I would really love it to work very well each and every time because quite honestly that's pretty much the only time I use Lightroom.

I suddenly got a problem with synch from Lr Mobile/Cloud to Lr Classic. No images will synch that way. The opposite works fine. Tried all the classics, shut down/start up (both program and computer) tried to rebuild the synch data and checked that there is no images stuck in the synch activities. Everywhere (both desktop and mobile) says it's all synched and ok. All programs up to date. So, can't really figure out what to do or what causes the problem.

I'm struggling to figure out how to use Lightroom on my iPad to pick out the images that I want, then delete the images I do not want from files on the iPad.I can delete them from Lightroom and Lightroom albums. But how do I delete themfrom the folder on my iPad? 

Hi, I’ve been trying to find a solution to my issue but haven’t had any luck. I currently have 1TB of cloud storage, but I can’t find an option to purchase additional storage. The “Add Storage” option doesn’t appear on my Manage Plans page, and none of the available upgrade options offer more than 1TB. How am I supposed to continue using Lightroom effectively when 1TB seems to be the maximum storage available? Hello, i made a simple program to add some tags and write them to a xmp file named same as the image. I have all the xmp files ready to import but i have the images already imported in lightroom, my objective is to only import the xmp files some how, and to add the metadata from them, i have tested with a new image and if i import .cr3 and .xmp files together  the metadata appears with all the edits, so i tested the file works.My only question is how can i import only this meta data to the existing photos in lightroom (normal, not classic) if possible??I would delete all photos and import them again but  some are edited and then i would need to export the dmg and import it with the xmp file risking on losing some data or to any error to appear.i would appreciate your help deeply, thanks and have a nice day!!

I have a folder with +/- 2000 photos. In LR desk top when I click on it, it initally just shows about the first 64 photos. It takes a minute or so fro the rest to show. This happens every time I open the folder, and always opens to the same place. (64 photos). This is more of an anoyance that anything as the rest do show within. a minute of so. Also this happens just on this folder. It is a subfolder of my main photos folder.

 this is what it shows on mine. I even clicked on the three dots in the upper right hand corner, not in pic, and STILL nothing choice for import. PLEASE HELP, I can not find it.

I can't be downloade subject selecter 

I have been using Lightroom on my iPhone since last summer, I bought presets for it and had so many pictures on it. I decided to try the one week free trial and ever since then everything disappeared. I lost all of my pictures, cannot find any of my many presets, and I don't know what to do. I deleted the app, re-signed into my account, even went on my laptop to try and find these missing pictures and presets. I am so upset, I use these presets for my Instagram and I don't want to have to pay for all of them again.  {Title edited by Moderator for clarity and to aid search queries} 

I was reading up on https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/migrate-photos-aperture.html where it talks about importing old aperture content into lightroom however when I installed lightroom I do not see an option to import aperture archives/libraries. Is this possible in Lightroom? What is the difference between Lightroom and Lightroom classic? I tried to download classic but it does not appear to have an option to download/purchase - it just routes me to lightroom. My goal is to import my old Aperture archives and then re-export to filesystem-based structure to not be locked in to any specific application. If the only option is to upload the entire archive to adobe's cloud thats not going to work for me!

Hi I use LightRoom on my MacbookPro.Since a few days, when I want to work in Lightroom, I get the message that my "Macintosh HD" is full, and that I need to clear space, or change my local storage settings.When I change my local storage settings, nothing changes, so I get the same message again.So I wander where exactly I can clear space? 

I am trying to synch 48GB (781) images. Is there a way to see what is in the queue and being uploaded at the moment? My connection is Fibre to Premises NBN with 300MBPS speed. It has been running for 5 hours so far. When I look at cloud synch I just see "calculating" every time. If I exit LR and run again I see it is has used 564GB or 4TB and is synching 781 files. After a short time it reverts to showing "calculating" I'm not sure if it is uploading any or whether each file is taking 10-15 minutes to upload? In my Windows task manager the LR app is using around 6% of CPU, 16% memory, 1% disk and 0% Network - sometimes I see 0.1% on network activity. My machine has 64GB memory. The hard drive has over 1T available space.  

Hi. Trying to resolve an issue on my wife's LR mobile which she has basically never used.  I have turned off all the collection syncronising in LR classic. Online and in LR classic I see 3.6GB used of cloud storage. However if I go online her library is empty.  In LR classic if I open preferences and go to syncronisation activity it shows a bunch of images as "Image", but they are in a folder that isnt possible to syncronise.  Is there a way to completely delete whatever is in cloud storage so we can start again?  If i try to syncronise new files they just sit spinning its wheels.   Thanks for any advice

When I am pasting my edited settings on another photo, the system freezes and I have to restart LR. Usually this is not an issue. Anyone know a fix? I've done it like 6 times today

I have recently been having problems with Lightroom for Windows 10 not exporting files that it has previously. After letting it attempt to export for over 8 hours twice, and the loading bar not indicating any progress I reinstalled Creative Cloud, Lightroom, and Premiere to no avail. Lightroom will export a 21second 4K vide in under a min but the 3 1/2 min video of the same type will no longer export even after 8+ hours. So far I've updated my GPU, updated Windows,  Checked all my drivers, shut down and restarted my PC,  reinstalled all adobe products, cleared the cache for lightroom and set it to high performance. Also worth noting is its not bottlenecking at all from what I'm seeing in Task Manager as nothing is going over 35% usage at any point. I've been through 3 different chat assistances from Adobe Support and they all couldn't figure it out and just told me to wait longer (as if 8 hours isn't enough) before they abruptly left. My PC Specs:Windows 10 Hom

I have on several occasions  wanted to go back to a mask I have made in Lightroom CC on my ipad and edit it.   When I select the mask layer the previous mask flashes showing it's original shape then disappears which makes it difficult to make changes to it. Is there a way of keeping the mask outline permanently on while editing?

Hello, I want to install the app on my iphone 6 but it just says it's for iOS 13 and later and I don't think it gets to iOS 13. My phone is iOS 12.5.1 there is no way to install it??     {Thread title edited by moderator}
