Lightroom lag, freezes all the time, can’t keep an editing session going. Have to reboot the computer to make it less intense. Laptop lenovo LOQ, updated windows, intel core i5, Nvidia RTX, not a bad machine. Computer flows normally, doesn’t freeze, just Lightroom causing trouble through many updates alreadyModerator: <Lightroom last used the "CC" name in version 2.2.1 in 2019. The product dropped the “CC” from naming in May of that year. While not impossible, it is unlikely that you are using that old version. Your post has been edited to remove the “CC”>

Exposure compensation (the change from base exposure) may not be the first data point many photographers look for, yet to me and many like me, it is more helpful to know than, e.g., shutter speed. I’m past the stage of remembering every little detail of exposure, so when I analyse my work. I want to know how I compensated from base exposure and by how much (e.g. EV +⅔ or EV –1⅓ ). It is particularly helpful to know when using images for teaching photography.I realize I could use Lightroom Classic to find this info, but more and more of my work is being done using Cloud-based Lightroom.
Fundamental to gaining an understanding of what 'works' is knowing not just the exposure of an image, but its Exposure Value (EV). Showing +/–EV would also help with HDR images. We can see the + and – images, but were they +/– EV 2, 3 or 5? This would be helpful in both Desktop and Mobile (iPadOS) versions. Besides--DxO PhotoLab shows EV. It's about time Lr caught up!
I recently bought mobile lightroom subscription through google play. But after 24hrs, the account says that trial period has expired and I cant access those features. Furthermore, I cant see any subscription on Adobe account page<images removed by moderator>.
I dont have anything to add more, its annoying and is not working properly and i have a good pc.
I have an issue that is driving me crazy. My photo preview in Lightroom (usin local only, no cloud) is low res. When I view the same image in Lightroom Classic or using Photoshop Camera Raw, I dont have the issue, only in Lightroom. It is on the latest update, I have already tried changing the GPU settings and nothing works, this is absolutely horrendous and irritating error in the Lightroom app ...
I’m trying out Stacks to help with culling sports photoshoots, motivated by the automatic stacking feature added a little while ago. It looks like the only way to “enter” a stack is to click the small number in the top-right corner of the photo? It’d be nice to be able to do this from the keyboard.
Wichtig:Es gibt keine Dubletten. Es sind keine Filter aktiv. Der Ordner ist klein, also kein grosser Import. Die Dateien sind definitiv vorhanden, da ich sie im Finder sowie auch im Entwickeln-Modul sehen kann.Das Problem beginnt erst, nachdem ich auf „I
Using Lightroom for iPad, anytime I click on a mask the linear mask swaps. I have a linear mask on the bottom and it's shows it's on the bottom on the right panel, but it's actually inverted on the picture and at the top.
Tried deleting the app several times on iPhone and iPad, pausing sync and retried importing, clearing cache, still not luck.
Since updating to Lr 9.3 I’ve been experiencing high cpu usage ( 95% to105%) on my Macbook Pro M4 Pro even when idle (open but not performing any tasks). I searched the forum but did not find same / similar issue. This was not the case before Lr 9.3. I always keep Lr and MacOS up to date. Any suggestions? Here’s the system info from Lr:Lightroom version: 9.3 arm64 [ 20260407-1929-32efcc0 ] (Apr 7 2026)NGL Version: 1.43.0.5WF Version: 8.3 5c9a130VF Version: 1.0.164.1HIL Version: 40501CAI Version: c2pa-c/0.6.0 c2pa-rs/0.46.0PH Version: 5.2.3Adobe GSDK Version: 1.4.0.210CR Version: 29.5.0.202509162212_6e7a997Catalog ID: 1babe00f54714b8a9c8118b671521398Operating system: macOSOS Version: macOS 26.4.1 (25E253)Application architecture: arm64Computer model: Mac16,8 / Apple M4 ProLogical processor count: 12Real memory available to Lightroom: 24,576.0 MBReal memory used by Lightroom: 3,443.0 MB (14.0%)Peak memory used by Lightroom: 4,913.0 MBMemory cache size: 2,688.0 MBInternal Camera Raw versi
I booted up Lightroom to work on some photos. I got a strange screen. I do not have a local tab to retrieve my photos
I edited a photo in Lightroom, then transferred it to Topaz Photo AI, and afterwards sent it back to Lightroom again. After that, I exported the image. When I look at the exported photo on my computer, it does not appear exactly as sharp as it does inside Lightroom. What am I doing wrong? Also, there is another issue recently: when I look at the exported JPEG file inside the folder where I exported it, it says “waiting for update” underneath the file. Maybe this could be related to the problem.I should also mention that the original file was already a JPEG image before I edited it in Lightroom. Could this possibly be the reason for the quality difference?I will also send a screenshot of my export settings.
Masking feature is not working properly- whenever I am trying for the option to detect the subject, it is running into some unknown problem, and the masking option is not helping. I have tried with reopening the app, restarting the PC, but nothing helped.
In the Lightroom app on my iPhone,I can’t delete any imported photos,Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app,the problem still remains
After rotating a radial mask (~25° or more), moving the mask causes it to increase in size with each drag. Translation appears to trigger scaling, making the mask impossible to control.Occurs on macOS using a trackpad (Lightroom Desktop 9.2 and 9.3). Works correctly in version 8.5.1 and in the web version, so this appears to be a regression introduced after 8.5.1. Steps to reproduce:Open an image in Lightroom Desktop (macOS) Create a Radial Gradient mask Adjust size/position – works normally Rotate the mask slightly – still works Rotate further (~25° or more) Drag the mask to reposition itResult:The mask increases in size while dragging (scales instead of just moving)Expected:Dragging should only move (translate) the mask, regardless of rotation
I deactivated lightroom just over 2 years ago. I recently reactivated my account. I found my old computer with the files still intact in lightroom and not connected to internet. When I tried saving the files, it wouldn’t back up so I connected to the internet. Once I did it synced and immediately deleted everything. is there a way to retrieve any of that or did 6 years of work just evaporate? I had regular back ups when I was using the apps, but now they are missing and I don’t have any way to get the most recent ones back.
Hi All, tl;dr need gallery that clients can use to choose photos for editing. The more automation, the better. I am quoting to shoot 160 headshots for a company, and I want to streamline the photo-choice process. I'd like to upload 3-5 unedited photos per person into an online gallery (password-protected), and allow them to tick a box on their favourite, and then have that list of favourites automatically come back to me so I can edit the right ones. Ideally, it'd be great if Lightroom Classic (my database of choice) could import those choices automatically (and marking them with a flag, colour, or star rating). I have the vague notion that Lightroom CC may be the way to go, but I've never used it and am not sure if the niche need I have can be done or not. Can the Adobe Cloud ecosystem give me this functionality? (I am a subscriber to the entire suite). You see, I normally shoot 20 or fewer people at a time (I usually work with much smaller companies), so for
I am exporting a video file (1.93GB) and lightroom seems not working on it. My lightroom version is 9.3.1 the latest version. i just simply work on some light and color adjustment. Anyone know how to fix?
Is there a way to overlay camera/lens details on the thumbnails in Lightroom CC like you can on Lightroom Classic? It’s a lot smoother to work on multiply photos at one when you can see instantly the details on the thumbnails rather than having to press (i) or (e) all the time.
Hello, since yesterday I’ve been having a problem with the Adobe Lightroom app on iOS. When I choose a photo from my gallery to edit and tap Actions, it keeps showing “Analyzing” and just keeps spinning, but it never loads the photo. The more times I try, all of the photos stay in the cloud as “Pending,” and I’m not able to edit anything.I already tried reinstalling the app, but it still doesn’t work.Thank you in advance!
