Issue: Search bar won’t find keywords in version 8 Version: Latest version 8 OS and version: macOS 13.5.2 Issue: To reproduce the issue; type a keyword name (tag) into the search bar. Press enter. Expected result: Lightroom should show only the photos related to that keyword Actual result: Lightroom makes the normal sound; however does show the photos related to the keyword search. Note: I rolled back to version 7 and everything works as expected. Seems to only be a problem in version 8. Thank you!
In Lightroom mobile using the “add border and share feature” using the eyedropper to sample a color or using any of the preset colors - upon export a massive gamma shift and color shift is applied to only the border lightening it and desaturating it. I have tried many potential fixes and nothing works. This appears to be a color pipeline issue or something clashing with iOS? I’m not sure. But I am essentially unable to create colored borders that match the image now. There are no deeper export settings available to tweak in the “add border and share” dialog box. attached image: on the left is a dark red border applied > right is how it exports turning it light pink
Hey Adobe Lightroom Community ! So, I've got this super annoying problem where my notifications inside the Lightroom mobile app just aren't showing up. It's been going on for like two months now, and it's happening on both my iPhone (when I had it) and now my Android phone. Super frustrating! 1. App Version: Lightroom Mobile App: Version 10.4.2 2. What Phone/OS I'm Using: Right now: Android 14 (on my Google Pixel) Before: iOS (on my iPhone 11 Pro Max) 3. How to See the Problem (Steps to Reproduce): Open up the Lightroom app (Version 10.4.2) on my Android 14 phone. Go to the in-app notification section (you know, where you see likes, remixes, all that good stuff). Have something happen that should give me a notification (like someone liking one of my photos, or remixing it, or if I get featured). But then... nothing new shows up in that notification panel in the app. Nada. 4. What Should Happen vs. What's Actually Happening: What should happen:
Steps to Recreate: Select a Fish Eye Image Apply Lens Profile Turn Distortion control to +100 Select a Linear Gradient and draw on the image (it is easy to see if you hold down shift to ensure horizontal) With Mask selected, grab either the upper or lower handle and increase or decrease the size of the gradient area Note: There is a subtle rotation of the gradient clockwise or counterclockwise depending upon the direction of the drag. Note: the upper or lower boundary of the gradient becomes discontinuousTested Win 10 (nVidia GTX 970 576.2 (5/19/2025)Make a linear gradient then resize it by a good amount. While you're doing so, you'll notice the whole gradient subtly starts to rotate. I don't think this happened before the recent LR update, but I could be wrong. Running on Windows 11. Editing to add info: This happens with all images when lens corrections are enabled with a profile selected, assuming the profile has
Using the Lightroom iOS app on an M4 iPad Pro. My device updated to Lightroom v11.3.2 today, since the new update the enter/return key no longer works with keyboard shortcuts. For example when copying develop settings. “Cmd+v” works to copy the settings, but enter/return no longer confirms the copied settings and doesn’t close the copy panel. The recent update says it has “improved keyboard shortcuts” but they must have introduced a bug which removed the return key’s function.
With the April 2026 version of Lightroom (Assisted Culling Improvements), I found that once you enable stacking by time, the stacked photos cannot be unstacked. I never actually created any stacks; it created them automagically and now all my photos in stacks are hidden and cannot be opened, even though both Time and Visual Similarity are unchecked. This is using Mac version 9.3.
You can no longer tab between text fields when updating the Info fields or adding keywords. You have to manually select the text box and then type.
The recommended presets aren't loading anymore; it says they're being analyzed, but nothing happens. It used to work before—how can I fix this?
After updating Lightroom to the latest version (with the improved crop tool), an issue appered:When I copy settings from another photo, including the crop, and paste them onto my photo, and then open the Crop tool, the photo crop disappears. Pressing CTRL+Z returns back the crop I had.
Does anyone have issues with the following example... I'm editing photos on Lightroom, listening to podcasts or music on my iPhone with AirPods. The AirPods keep connecting to Mac, pausing my audio, beacuse of Lightroom. I have no clue why. No other app does this. But Lightroom effectively commands audio device despite no actual sounds.
I have and issue that if I go into the people view, select a person and switch on segmentation by years. If I do this than there are multiple groups for any given year. E.g. I see 5 sections for the year 2018 with different phots in them. Also these segments are not in order but random. E.g. 2017, 2015, 2018, 2017, 2018, 2015Actually I noticed another issue I noticed is that changing ‚sort by‘ has no effect at all. Changing eg. from capture date to import date does not change the order at all.My guess is that there is generally something wrong with sorting in people view.Happens on iPad and iPhone Also in the all photos view the segmentation by year works fine, seems to be a problem of the people view
I just did an update with my Lightroom Lr (cloud) and now I am having trouble with my exports. I want to set a custom name and have the number sequence after one and other by using "export with previous settings" but its not working I don't know where they are going. I have to do a reset with every image I export. Please help
Description of Issue The Expected Result: In previous versions of Lightroom Cloud, when working in Edit mode, I was able to Tab from one edit setting field to the next; e.g. from Exposure to Contrast to Highlights, etc. I was also able to Shift-Tab to go back up the settings list. The Actual Result: This is no longer available. Now, selecting Tab ‘enters’ the value (like selecting ‘Return’). The second Tab closes the panel and a third Tab re-opens the panel. Lightroom Desktop Version Number: v9.2 20260217-0314 dfbaf86 Build OS Version Number: 26.1 on a 15” M4 MacBook Air 16GB ram Step-by-step Reproduction Instructions: see aboveI realize this may not be a “bug” but a known change in code. If that’s the case, please re-instate the former use of Tab / Shift Tab as it was far more helpful and powerful than wasting it on opening an closing panels.
ANROID LIGHTOOM MOBILE: Can't Post Photos Exported from LR Mobile to Instagram Has anyone else had issues posting exported photos from Lightroom Mobile (Android) to Instagram? I have a Samsung S24 Ultra and have not been able to share edited images to Instagram since I got my phone a month ago or so. My work around has been to post edited photos to Facebook which works, then save that file back to my phone from Facebook, then upload that to Instagram. I get a "Photo can't be posted" error every time regardless if I'm on cell or Wi-Fi.
When the NVIDIA Control Panel option "Dedicate to graphics tasks" is enabled, Lightroom (Cloud-Based) crashes upon opening a photo for editing. The application launches normally and the crash does not occur immediately. It happens only after entering the editing module. Disabling "Dedicate to graphics tasks" resolves the issue. This behavior is not documented in Adobe or NVIDIA support resources. Tested Environments: Lightroom v8.5 Windows 10 and Windows 11 Multiple NVIDIA graphics cards tested

Hi, since a few days/weeks I have an issue with Lightroom Mobile. I've edited photo on laptop, then went to Lightroom Mobile, copied edit settings and pasted to another photo and it failed during updating AI masks. Previously it worked perfectly and I do not know what's the problem. I tried to uninstall the app, restart my phone but it didn't help. Do you have any ideas how to solve it?
I was previously using Adobe Lightroom mobile on my Motorola Moto G32 running on Android 12. I did factory reset on my phone now I am unable to install it. It says "This version is not compatible with your device". Please advise
In Safari on iOS 26.3.1, HDR photos display as SDR when Lightroom on the Web is in Play Slideshow mode. HDR photos otherwise display correctly as HDR when clicked upon for single-image display.Behavior is identical whether or not user is logged in to Lightroom or anonymous (i.e., sharing link).
We are unable to select them there. There are people reporting this issue here in the community and on Reddit. We are unable to use the Auto + Retro presets on mobile devices, such as my iPhone, and even tried it on the iPad.
Hello Adobe team, I’ve been suffering with frequent crashes of Lightroom (aka Lightroom CC, but NOT Lightroom Classic) since November. I had a busy / active forum thread going but it has apparently been made unavailable ~8 days ago when you re-launched the Community site, which is very frustrating. This was the link to the thread - perhaps you can see it still? Summary: I am using Lightroom 9.1 (aka Lightroom CC, *NOT* Lightroom Classic) on my MacBook Pro (M4 Max CPU, 48GB RAM, macOS Tahoe 26.2). Sometime around November, the app began freezing with a pinwheel cursor while doing routine activities: editing a photo, exporting pics, or even just being left open but in the background. Attempting to quit Lightroom puts it into a pinwheel freeze 90% of the time. I’ve submitted dozens of crash reports, hopefully you can see them (they’re linked to my Adobe account). I also have two fresh log outputs from today (a Console crash report and a Lightroom Diagnostic log) which I’m happy to share
I am experiencing a persistent failure when editing video files in the Lightroom mobile app. While the app functions correctly for photo editing, it triggers two distinct error codes that block critical "write" actions for video metadata, effectively disabling cross-clip editing. Steps to ReproduceOpen any video clip in the Lightroom mobile app. Apply any adjustment (e.g., Light, Color, or Effects). To trigger 20190613a: Attempt to select "Create Preset" from the menu. To trigger 20190613b: Attempt to select "Copy Settings" from the menu. ObservationsError 20190613a: Specific to the failure of saving or creating a new preset from a video. Error 20190613b: Specific to the failure of copying and pasting settings between video clips. Isolated to Video: Both of these actions work perfectly fine on photo files(JPEG/RAW) within the same app session.Troubleshooting Already AttemptedFull Reinstallation: Deleted the app and downloaded a fresh copy from the App Store. Cache Purge: Cleared local
Lightroom (installed from App Store) cannot import images directly from SD card. By browsing the SD card Lightroom finds the images and is able to import them. In the system security and privacy settings Lightroom has full disc access. I've also tried only to allow to access the SD card but it doesn't work neither. Restarting the computer and Lightroom multiple times doesn't change anything. My wife uses a similar configuration and is not able to import her images from a Sony Alpha IV. She has to browse the SD card to import the images, too. This problem exists for a long time now, even on newly installed MacOS, but eventually I wanted to report it. Maybe it's only a issue on installations from the App Store. Thank you very much.
