Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi everyone, since I started using Lightroom (not classic), I ran into the following issue: Lightroom opens with one of two different sets of my albums. The first set consists of my very first three albums and exactly 257 images I have imported. The second set consists of all new images and albums I have imported. On some startups, I see only the first set of albums. Then I close and reopen and after a few tries I see the other set of albums. I never see both at the same time. Which set I see seems completely random. It is about a 70% chance that I see the first set and 30% that I see the second set. Also when using Lightroom Classic and syncing the online catalog to my harddrive, I can only get the first set of albums. This seems not to be a syncing issue, as the exact same behaviour can be observed with the web version of lightroom. Hi I am thinking of ourchasing LR (not classic) and I am geting cinlicting advice about the Minimum system requirements (not from Adobe Commuity).  a le[topI have been told various things like I need at least  2GHZ processor, I can get away with smaller etc etc. I dont have a greatbudget to spend on my new laptop, neither do I know much about all this tech jargon. I would dearly like some advice on the system size I need and any suggestions where is a good place in the UK to purshase a laptop for a reasoanble price,  Thank you in anticipation

Hello, I have a problem with my lightroom ipad application. I have Nikon TIFF photos that I edited on my lightroom ipad application. However, after editing them, the photos appear yellowed/greened on the global preview. This appearance disappears when I click on the photo to edit it again. And when I share my album with a link, the photos appear yellowed/greened.Do you know the cause of this problem and how to solve it? Thanks in advance!Thomas

Hi, I got a new Mac and had to transfer all my presets back into Lightroom but when I tried to apply them only the preview was showing up when I hovered over the presets names, when I took the mouse off it would go back to the original photo so the presets were not applying. I looked into it and people said to reset my preferences so I did. It worked but now any time I try to create a new preset, change any existing one or even edit a photo in Photoshop and bring it back into Lightroom the presets won't apply again, so I constantly have to reset preferences. Are there any other fixes that will fix this for good?  

I'm using the free Lightroom App.How do I transfer the edited pictures and the presets to the App on my new phone?

Hallo zusammen, jedes Mal wenn ich in Lightroom Bilder als JPG Exportieren möchte füllt sich der Ladebalken (oben links) maximal bis zur hälfte und es wird nur eine kleine bis gar keine Anzahl an Bildern exportiert.  Ich habe alles probiert was ich konnte: Lightroom de- und reinstalliert, die aktuellste Version verwendet, mein Mac Book Pro (M2 Max) neu gestartet usw.Hat alles nichts gebracht und in meinem Umfeld gibt es niemanden, der das selbe Problem hat. Was ich noch anmerken möchte:Ich verwende Lr und nicht LrC !!! Bin ich der einzige bei dem dieses Problem vorkommt ?

Hi team ,  I'm using Lightroom in my android device. And In the new update I got the create edit replay feature. I was really excited to try it out. But unfortunately whenever I try to create a replay it says couldn't complete share . An error message is the only thing that i get .  I tried clearing cache . But it didn't solve the problem. Please advise . Really eager to try it out . Thanks 

Hello creatives, build my website with Adobe Portfolio and struggle with this two sections. I got absolutely no idea how it works .I found some sites with describtions but no examples.  Would be very thankful for any help an suggestion

I am trying to fix what I consider to be a major bug.  Out of the blue all of my images that I am importing into LR (cloud based) are displayed completely pixelated. It doesn't matter what size I display them at.  Even stranger, there have been times when adjacent images are displayed correctly!? In addition I am now unable to delete images.  After selecting them and hitting the "delete images" button they go dark grey, but remain on my library strip.  At the same time, if I am unable to delete images, I am also unable to EXPORT finished images. Finally, I have a very hard times even shutting the program down, often having to resort to using the Task Manager to do it.   I have completely uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Creative Cloud, I'm running the most recent version as of Jan 14 2024. I am running Win11 and I have 933GB of free space on my SSD HD.    PLEASE HELP!!

I'm using the Lightroom 1TB plan for years now and I generally enjoy the ability to just upload iages from my cam directly into the lightroom cloud and a few moments later having them available on my phone, iPad and Mac. So that's nice. What's not nice is that I'm like 40 GB away from exceeding the limit of my 1TB plan. And even if I now erase all the duplicates and stuff it became clear that I'm gonna have to deal with this in the upcoming months in order to continue using this workflow. Turns out, Adobe doesn't seem to want my money. I can't really find any option to simply upgrade my storage. But when googling it, I find textbased information, that there should be the option somewhere to upgrade for additional 10$ per 1TB. I mean come on? I'm now paying for the lightroom license  plus all the CC stuff plus 1TB and this ain't 2015 where you have to charge 10 bucks for one terabyte.  For the past 2 years I was awaiting Adobe MAX for them to announce more storage or any

Since upgrading to Lr Mobile 9.1 I am unable to view the crop dimensions in the info panel.This was not an issue with previous versions. Thank you!

Can't get an agents to help. Even after they say they are looking up your account info.   Can't delete photos from Lightroom.   Can't upgrade storage.   Can't clear cache.   Can't do anything, And no one will help.   Great "premium" service I am paying for.  

Hallo suche zum vergleichen zweier Fotos die gleiche Vergleichsansicht unter LR wie bei windows oder Mac (xy). Habe diese Funktion von LR auf meinem Ipad nicht gefunden. Gibt es dazu eine Alternative falls es sich nicht mit LR auf dem Ipad realisieren läßt. Vielen Dank im vorraus.

Hi all, I take raw DNG files with my iPhone 15 Pro, upload to the LR mobile app and then edit on my laptop. Recently I've run into a stuck where the photos are not editable on my laptop but are on my phone. See attached image. I get the following error when trying to edit: The Digital Negative (DNG) file is incompatible with this version or Lightroom.The image is imported and the profile is changed to Apple Embedded Color Profile from Apple Raw. Any ideas?Thanks!

Lightroom has an issue handling CR3 files on the edge with the latest Lightroom edition (V7.1.2 attached version). This photo was shot with EOS R6 + RF 28-105f2.8; I am not sure if it is because of the new lens. I am using MacOS.

Using lightroom (cloud based), I used to be able to use the 'edit in photoshop' feature. Then when i'm done in photoshop I simply save and close, then the file automatically transfers back to lightroom. This doesn't seem to happen anymore. Has anyone found a workaround for this? It's super frustrating : /

I've been using Lightroom CC on my Ipad for 3 years now. I love editing this way but my 1TB storage is almost full. As I just bought a new Macbook Max 3 I would like to use Classic again and it might be a solution for the storage problem. I've downloaded the Lightroom CC library and I'm now importing it to Classic. But I'm a bit confused now.  The storage is almost full. If I sync a few folders from the last couple of years that I don't use that much on my Ipad, will Classic download those folders or do they disappear when I delete them in CC? I'm a travel photographer so I'd love to only bring my Ipad on my trips and the abbilaty  to share them right away with airdrop is a big plus for me that Classic doesn't have. 

Hello, I am using Lightroom Cloud, not Classic, and trying to use the person detect feature for masking. The file has been loaded to the cloud. When Lightroom trys to detect a person in the photo I get the following error........ Your computer does not have enough graphics memory to support this feature. This makes no sense. I have a 2020 MacBook Pro 13 inch configured with the dual core i5 processor and the Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB. I have 150GB of free hard drive space. I'm running Lightroom 7.1.2 downloaded from the Mac App Store , build 20231210-1901-9bac95f. MacOS is Sonoma 14.2.1  No other apps open. I do have a 4TB external drive attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Lightroom stars dont transfer from sellphone app to lightroom classic. Why? What can i do? 

I use latest LR on an M1 Mac with latest macOS and noticed the following:- I have LR set up to keep a copy of all smart previews an all originals- if I edit photos or add new photos the date of last change and the size of the .lrlibrary-file stay the same- looking inside the package shows the correct date and also the size of folder in which the originals are kept has changed Is this by purpose or a bug?   

I have a Mac Pro mid 2014. The latest OS was Big Sur 11.7.10 after which I'm unable to update to the latest OS, since Apple no longer provides further updates for this machine. This has resulted in my being unable to update Lightroom CC and Photoshop to their latest versions. Other than buying a new computer, which I'd rather not do (only LR and P'shop are now issues) what can be done? I'm paying annually for my Adobe Creative Cloud, but now can't continue to get updates! Any suggestions, please? Thanks

The Creative Cloud app on my Mac tells me that my version of Lightroom is up to date.  However, when I'm in the Lightroom app it says that it can't support edits to DNG photos that have either been uploaded from mobile or updated on the web platform.  For these photos the app says "This photo was edited in a newer version of Lightroom.  Editting it further without updating Lightroom will cause incompatible edits to be lost."  My Lightroom was purchased on the app store and is part of a payment plan where I pay every month.  How can I get Lightroom to update if Creative Cloud and the ap store say its up to date? (This system info says the Lightroom version is 5.5 and I really don't think that is the most recent).
