When the NVIDIA Control Panel option "Dedicate to graphics tasks" is enabled, Lightroom (Cloud-Based) crashes upon opening a photo for editing. The application launches normally and the crash does not occur immediately. It happens only after entering the editing module. Disabling "Dedicate to graphics tasks" resolves the issue. This behavior is not documented in Adobe or NVIDIA support resources. Tested Environments: Lightroom v8.5 Windows 10 and Windows 11 Multiple NVIDIA graphics cards tested
I really miss the ability to pick 1-2-3 similar photos from a shoot and compare them during my editing process to pick the beset one of the three. Please bring that back to this version.
I have been hoping to get Survey view in Lightroom for years now as it is a feature I depend on extensively in Lightroom Classic, to the extent that I struggle to use Lightroom. When judging a set of images, it could be a selection of images, or just seeing if they are coherent (could be crop, white balance etc) it’s much easier to just select images and open in survey view than it it putting them in an album and looking at them in a grid.A variation could potentially be a light table view (like the one that used to exist in Aperture) where images can be freely arranged on a canvas.
Hey, quick feedback on the masking feature - the “All People” option isn’t working properly. The buttons are greyed out, so I can’t actually create the mask. It’s also noticeably slowing down the whole editing process, which makes it pretty frustrating to use in a real workflow.Would be great to get this fixed ASAP - right now it’s blocking usability.
After completing photo editing, when I make adjustments to the crop (including aspect ratio or image dimensions), the image’s brightness and exposure values change unexpectedly. This issue occurs specifically when:Saving a crop adjustment, or Using the automatic horizon alignment toolAfter applying either of these, the image appears significantly altered, with exposure and brightness parameters visibly shifting, even though no changes were made to those settings.Expected behavior:Crop, aspect ratio, or alignment adjustments should not affect exposure or brightness settings.Actual behavior:The image brightness and overall exposure are drastically modified after confirming crop or auto-alignment changes.Device:iPhone 16 Pro MaxApp:Lightroom Mobile (iOS)Impact:This is a serious issue because it disrupts the editing workflow and forces re-adjustment of exposure settings after cropping.
The Info panel on my iPad version of Lr Mobile has plenty of blank space on it. Please use some of that empty space to display any Location data associated with each image. Even better would be the ability to add/edit Location info on the iPad. This would save time and trouble and make the iPad version more like the version I see on my laptop. What is baffling is that my iPad Pro has an M1 processor that is more than capable of handling the minuscule extra data that is displayed—so why are you handcuffing the Mobile version?
I would like to suggest adding a leg selection mask, similar to existing subject and skin detection tools, to allow targeted adjustments

Hello everyone,I have a question. Will Adobe Lightroom be released on Huawei devices? I know there are login issues, but a solution could be developed for this. On Huawei cameras, RAW shooting is available in DNG format, and as far as I know, DNG was developed by Adobe. I am currently using the Huawei Pura 80 Pro, and although its camera is excellent, I feel like I am missing out on Lightroom. The phone supports HDR and DNG, but when I try it in a different way, it says HDR is not supported on this device.I contacted Huawei, and they told me the issue is related to the developer. They said I can create a request list through AppGallery, which I did for Lightroom, but I believe you (the developers) could find a faster solution. Do you have any idea about this?Thank you in advance for your help and response. This is a translation.
Since this morning, my own presets on Lightroom takes ages to load on my PC. After the recommended presets that were not loading for a month and that you finally fixed, this is another issue. I’m really upset with you guys.
I primarily use LRC and sync all my photos through LR and LR Mobile. I want to “pull” all my photos from the cloud in the original resolution I uploaded them, not smart previews, so I can make proper backups. All my photos still appear (and are editable) on all 3 platforms but they appear to be smart preview quality. Is there any way to get the original DNG from servers or is the Adobe Cloud Sync not actually a real Cloud Sync system? Where it still depends on the files being present on one local source? What shows in LRC
I’d like to request proper support for Smart Albums syncing to iPad within Adobe Lightroom. At the moment, Smart Albums (or Smart Collections) created on desktop do not carry across to mobile devices in a usable way. While I understand collections can be synced, the actual rules and automation behind Smart Albums are lost. This is a real limitation for workflows like mine.I manage a large, structured image archive (40,000+ images), using Smart Albums to organise content by:Location (e.g. streets and areas) Subject (buildings, features, etc.) Status (new, ready, published)During the working week, my primary device is an iPad, it’s what I use on the go to review, select, and prepare content. Desktop access is limited to evenings or weekends.Because Smart Albums don’t sync, I have to:Manually recreate album structures Copy images between albums Rely on workarounds instead of automationThis adds unnecessary time and increases the risk of inconsistencies. What would help:Smart Albums syncing
Accidentally deleted all photos in Lightroom.I deleted on one device and sync to all other devices, then all devices can’t see the photos. Any way to recover all deleted photos? I really need all the edit history and those photos.
Watch the video included in the post! After two weeks of using Lightroom Mobile on my new phone, this issue suddenly appeared. The flickering (happens after you press "before") only occurs on photos where Denoise AI has been used and photos without it work normally. Deleting and reinstalling the app temporarily fixes the problem, but it comes back once I close and reopen the app. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
How do I delete profiles on iPad?I can do it on the PC version, but not iPad?How come this isn’t a feature? I’m legitimately asking and hoping for an answer. If anyone on the team is reading this, can you explain why this is not a feature that has been implemented on the iPad version? It already exists on PC after all. (Not talking about Classic either.)
this probably sounds a silly question but I was reading someone saying that cloud photos are only stored in that one place so if something was to ever go wrong with lightroom or the cloud those photos will not be able to be accessed again!? does this mean just as in when logged onto your lightroom or do they mean one these are exported in their own right onto hard drives/folders on the computer/phones those photos would no longer be able to be opened either?! with professional photos should they never be created in cc photos as they are basically copies even once in galleries/hard drives/folders etc
Cordialement,Arnaud Boisivon
hello! I recently added a custom camera profile to test out some settings in Lightroom CC. But now I want to delete that profile, is there a way to do so?
Lightroom Opens normally, but when I click to edit a photo, it goes blank and comes back not functioning and without all of the options showing. For example, I try to crop a photo and it does not crop, nor does it show the editing features. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program and I have the same problem
Hello, Please can someone help me to reproduce the sliding navigation bar from the Thomas template in Portfolio, as can be seen in the example from Sever Acar https://portfolio.adobe.com/examples/ On the landing page the menu/navigation bar is on the footer of the page, but when the arrow is clicked the navigation bar moves to the header of the page and the background image is replaced with a gallery. I can't find the option to replicate this. I am using the Thomas template. Many thanksT
I have a Snapdragon X Elite laptop (the lenovo yoga slim 7x) and when I do AI Denoise, it uses the CPU. It has a decent GPU, and quite a powerful NPU, and as far as I know AI Denoise should not use the CPU. Past taking a while, it makes my computer run really loud and get really hot. Please make a fix!CPU utilization when I am doing AI Denoise vs right after
I’ve written myself an app to generate Alt-text for my images, working against local files. I’d rather store that alt-text back into the lightroom ecosystem though, so that it is persisted just as if I entered it manually into the metadata in Lr. Is there a way to accomplish this through an API or local file editing? Note that I don’t use Lightroom Classic, I tend to move between many machines and so all of my content is stored in the cloud (and cached locally, but that’s only a small subset of images). Thanks! (and if it’s relevant, I’m a professional dev as my day job, so it doesn’t have to be an *easy* solution, just possible)
Windows on ARM Topaz Gigapixel takes 20mins+ to get to nearly complete and then progress bar just stops moving. it’s been 24 hours now, i think it’s not working!! but when i try and cancel it warns me i burned a credit just trying this
