Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi All,I have had Lightroom for a quite a bit now, but a couple of months ago my PC died and I knew I was going to replace it with a Macbook which I have.  I have downloaded Lightroom to my Macbook but it looks different to the one I had on my PC and looks more like the one on my iPad?It doesnt seem to have the old headings or as many drop down menus at the top, IE import, Develope, Print or Export?Have I downloaded the wrong one or is this the new Lightroom?  I'm just a bit confused Any help or direction would be most gratefully received. Kindest regards Sweeney

If I tap a photo in notifications I leads me to the rating view, which is good because I can convert the useless like into a useful pick or star rating.  But hitting back leads to the edit screen (instead of back to the notification page, where I just came from, for the next photo to select), which is annoying if I want to convert mulitple likes into something I can filter for on desktop. 

Is anyone else experiencing an issue like this where the lighting is off with the latest version of Lightroom? All the photos are normal until I Update to the newest version 7.0. All my photos look too bright or too dark; lighting is just off on update 7.0 and when I go back to Update 6.5 the photos are alright once again. If anyone knows how to fix this issue on update 7.0 I would truly appreciate it (Pic with update bar is from update 6.5 while the other is from update 7.0)

Please include 4×5 aspect ratio for cropping images in LrM. Its very annoying to spend lot of time doing custom cropping to achieve 4x5. This is standard instagram aspect ratio for image upload, it should be there in the product.  

There is no option to upgrade being$4.99/month and I've reached my storage limit. Is that even possible and if so do I have to cancel and resubscribe with a different plan? Do I get to keep everything that is currently stored? Thank you

I noticed that the lightroom mobile app has been performing significantly worse in some areas on my google pixel 6 pro after a recent update. I cleared out my storage space to under half it's capacity but noticed no improvements. Specific issues I've noticed: Zooming into an image and moving it around will often produce lag. When adjusting the temperature and tint sliders, the image updates to reflect changes made very slowly, like 5-15 frames per second. This seems to only happen with those specific sliders and does not occur when adjusting color mix, grading, or anything in the light panel.  As said, this is occuring on a pixel 6 pro, with up to date system software, while editing raw images captured with the phone camera. 

When looking at my iPhone photos that were synced to the Cloud then to Lightroom Classic, I see some files are named IMG1234_jpg.heic. What does this mean, are they JPEG files or HEIC files" 

The updated Lightroom app no longer has the vibrance function. Anyone know why?

dear all, I just found out that the linear mask tool has no handle to control rotation after 1st release of the mask. Is this a bug of the versione recently rleased or it's just me ? I do not have this issue in LRC 13.0.1 though. thank you for your advice, eric

I tried to delete the image but I couldn't delete it. I try everything but still cannot delete it. Also, I tried to reinstall but guess what it is still the same. The grey-out image is permanently there.

Lightroom is giving me problems after the update. I can't tag a mask. Could you give me an advice please?

Hi all,if you delete presets from your download folder on your PC, do you also delete it from your lightroom?extra question, some presets you can't change the grain, how can you play with that?thanks!

I was using local storage, windows 11 Laptop and was working fine, then today there is nothing showing under Local tab. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still no good. Any ideas on how I can get this feature working again? Version 7Windows 11 

FolksAfter a recent update of Lightroom CC / macOS Mojave, none of my images are showing up in Lightroom CC. I just get a black screen in edit & grid mode. The interface still correctly shows the number of image .. but no images themselves. The images are available on both http://lightroom.adobe.com/​ and the mobile apps. Appreciate your help in resolving this.

I have a problem that I reported month's ago and the Adobe contact confirmed to me that is was a bug, but it is still not solved.my use case:1. I create a collection of photos on my pc and synchronises them to the cloud.2. I go to my iPad and look at the collection with pictures nicely sorted according to capture date.3. I press ... for the collection and select Share... and an Adobe link is created. But in this link the pictures are no sorted according to their capture date anymore. When can this bug be corrected?

Guten Tag, ich möchte gerne eine Galerie erstellen um sie mit Kunden zu teilen. Bis jetzt hab ich das über Lightroom gemacht. Allerdings möchte ich jetzt eine Galerie mit Wasserzeichen auf meinen Bildern erstellen. Frage Nr 1: Warum kann ich in Lightroom nicht einfach meine Galerie mit Wasserzeichen veröffentlichen? Herunterladen als JPG kann ich sie ja damit. Ich habe dann über Lightroom Classic eine Web Galerie mit Wasserzeichen erstellt. Allerdings kann ich diese nur mit Lightroom synchronisieren, dann hab ich wieder eine Galerie ohne Wasserzeichen oder über einen FTP-Server hochladen. Frage Nr 2: die Bilder sind doch in der Cloud. Warum muss ich dann einen Server zwischenschalten um einfach meine Galerie mit Wasserzeichen beim Kunden zu präsentieren? Ich bin jetzt dabei alle Bilder mit Wasserzeichen über Lightroom herunterzuladen um sie dann wieder hochzuladen und eine Galerie mit Wasserzeichen zu haben. Das ist ja auch nicht Sinn der Sache. Können Sie mir eine Lösung für mein Prob

First, you have moved the rating and flagging section in to the main menu, instead of the easy access you had before the latest update. Second, I am not able to view wich rating I have given to a picture when I have the phone, scrolling through my pictures in landscape mode. Instead I now have to rotate my phone to portrait mode to able to see it. Please change back! Why have so removed to many good things until the worse in the latest updates?! I don't understand why you have to remove a lot of good to things.  

its even getting better Lr Mobile 8.5.x on an other iPhone crashes ("Pictures will be loaded" last screen before crash) after other devices like other iphone / iPad had been upgraded to 9.x by accident. Next case to be opened by Adobe

Hi, with LR v7.0 desktop, Adobe announces we are now able to "Access, edit, and organize locally stored photos in Lightroom without importing them". So does this imply that I can now work on locally stored photos with LR Classic and LR v7.0 in parallel? Are there any restrictions or will changes made on either side synch seamlessly? Don't want to mess up anything ... Many thanks,Peter.

I am not able to use Lightroom premium features even after making the purchase and doing the steps recommended

When importing from a memory card, it seems like initially all the photos are imported. Let's say I have 500, then I go to the library and I see 400. I go to the import again, and many random photos show as not imported. I have to reimport them multiple times until they stop disappearing. I think it happens during the cloud sync process.

I have paid ₹1700 for premium and from my back account the amount has been deducted but premium version is not activated

Full-RAW Canon CR2 files are showing as 'unsupported' when attempting to use AI Denoise Feature in Lightroom 6.4, 6.5, and now 7.0I have been using the AI Denoise feature flawlessly for the past month or two, using my Canon CR2 RAW files and denoising them using Lightroom Cloud on my Windows Laptop. However, in the past 2 days I have encountered an issue where the denoise feature claims the file type is 'unsupported' and refuses to denoise them.It is refusing photos that worked before - so something has changed.... I had tried reinstalling previous versions such as 6.4, and this worked once before the issue reoccured. Updating to the October 2023 7.0 release is also providing the same issues. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is a well used feature for my editing.
