Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hallo zusammen, Folgende Problematik, meine Frau hat Lightroom über den Google Play Store runtergehen und auch dort das kostenpflichtige Abo für 4,99 monatlich abgeschlossen. Tolle App, lohnt sich für Sie.Jetzt ist der Cloudspeicher voll, den würde ich gerne auf 1 Tb erweitern lassen, drehe mich aber immer zwischen Playstore und Adobe.de im Kreis. Kann da jemand weiterhelfen, wäre schön wenn du es mir mitteilen könntest. LG Jannick

Bonjour, j'ai actuellement la formule photo avec 1 To de stockage (Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom "mobile"). Suite à l'annonce de l'arrêt du service de stockage en ligne pour février prochain, je voudrais changer de formule pour ne pas payer autant de stockage que je n'utiliserai pas. La seule offre inférieure serait celle avec 20 Go de stockage. Depuis je me suis penché sur l'utilisation du cloud que j'ai actuellement, et j'ai remarqué avoir environ 40 Go de photo sur Lightroom ("mobile"). Si je bascule sur l'offre à 20 Go, je n'aurai donc pas assez d'espace. Y a t il une solution pour "sauvegarder" les anciennes photos sur mon ordinateur et donc retomber par exemple à 5 Go utilisé sur le cloud, tout le reste étant en local sur mon ordinateur (donc non disponible depuis l'application mobile, mais pas totalement perdu pour autant) ? J'imagine un système similaire à ce qu'on peut trouver sur Outlook : il est possible de faire une sauvegarde des anciens messages pour libére

Something that frustrates me to the point that I am considering other options for photo storage and editing:  Lightroom mobile in android allows users to navigate photos by year when browsing in All Photos. You can minimize or expand each year allowing for quick navigation. I have recently switched to iOS on my phone and this feature is missing. See photos below to see the difference. I have to scroll through my entire catalog to reach older years, stopping periodically to figure out how far I have gone. It wouldn't matter if the search function were actually reliable but Lightroom search makes google photos look like the wave of the future.  It is ridiculous that there would be two different versions of this app with one missing such useful functionality. 

When I try to export videos uploaded by my phone as MP4 I get the following error/warning message: Original video cannot be processed by this computer so the proxy was used instead (1)PXL_20220801_100823733.mp4 When I choose "Original" instead of MP4, I instead get the following message: Note this this original video file probably cannot be played on this computer (1)PXL_20220801_100823733.mp4 The computer and phone in question are an Intel MacBook Pro and a Google Pixel 5. Needless to say my computer can play an MP4 video! What do these errors mean and can I stop them somehow?

My lightroom mobile just got updated and i lost all my presets.

Hello,I purchased the premium subscription via Galaxy store (app was tied to Galaxy store after download from play store long time ago).But the app keeps saying it cannot connect to the store for some reason, even though it connected minutes before for the payment.Tried following the steps mentioned here but to no avail: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/kb/lightroom-mobile-in-app-purchase-issue.html Can anybody advise please?

Hi,When you click on an album,  the 3 dot, There is an option : share in the gallery. WHen I click on it nothing happens Do you know please how does the "share in the gallery" works and what it is ?  Regards,Giacomo 

Hello, I have tried the provided solution by adobe,  "locate the MCAT file, and rename it from Managed Catalog.mcat to Managed Catalog.old." and even deleting the previews database but i still get the same error. Everything is synced. Also deleted and reinstalled the app and restarted my pc.

Bonjour,lorsqu'une collection LRC est synchronisée et publique, certaines photos sont commentées.Je voudrais un filtre qui permet de sélectionner uniquement les images likées ou commentées. je ne lsais pas le faire ni dans LR on line, ni LR on PC ni LRC on PC. (sur Windows 11 et tous logiciels sont à jour)Est-ce possible et comment ?Merci

Hi everyone,I'm using both Lightroom for Android and desktop version for retouching photos quickly.When touching white-balance in desktop version, I usually use eyedropper to pick a neutral gray pixel to get the most accurate color. However, I find it quite difficult to do the same thing on Android version as there's no brightness value shown with the picker (I can't determine if it's truly balanced or not).Do you have any suggestion? Thank you so much.

Ive lost all my edits and presets on Lightroom by accidentally deleting the app, how to recover them?Im not a premium user.

Hi all,  I'm running the latest Lightroom Mobile app (v 8.5.0 D352DE/107) and I like my photos to be sorted by capture date and to be segmentated.However, everytime I close and open the app, it's sorted by modified date and segmented by day, which is very annoying.Any one else have this issue? Please help and advise! TIA.

I edit my photos on my computer with Lightroom classic and also on my iPad pro. When I have been editing on my iPad I have synced my computer up so it transfers the edited versions onto my computer so I can export them into my folders. Recently every time I have synced Lightroom on the computer. When I have gone back onto my iPad. It has reset the images that I have edited. Also on my computer every time I re-sync it tries to re-sync every picture which takes hours. At the moment, I have not re-sync anything because I don't want to lose the edited pictures on my iPad. I was wondering if anyone has experience this and is able to help me stop losing my work which is quite frustrating. Any information on stopping my Lightroom on my computer re-syncing everything every time I open it. and stopping losing my work on my iPad. This would be much appreciated.

I am editing an image in CC and had to import it into PS to make some changes. I save the file, which imports it back into CC, and it puts a number "2" at the top of the file. Upon opening the file by clicking on the "2" it opens a film strip at the bottom of the page to show both images. I now have two files, the raw and the new tif created by PS. I opened the raw file, and clicked info to check and make sure I selected the correct file. Upon doing this, I noticed it kept automatically changing the file I had selected to the tif file. So there's no way for me to check the file info without CC automatically changing the selection to the tif file. The tif file is currently selected as the cover file.Also, simply closing the film strip at the bottom of the page that shows which file is selected, automatically reverts the selection back to the tif file as well.I tried changing the stack cover photo from the tif to the raw file, and now the opposite happens. Lightroom is a ridiculous mess. It makes absolutely zero sense.  who the hell decided this maze of useless upgrade traps was going to sell anything?

Hi, If i delete a picture on my installed version of lightroom on my desktop, why does it not delete it in the cloud as well? When I login to the online service I keep seeing my deleted photos. I want them to sync. If I delete a picture on my local computer, it would be great if it could delete it in the cloud as well. Any help appreciated.   

i now have a histogram in my panel and have no way to close it. i believe i tried to update the other day. some of my photos now show red or blue pixels in them?

Hello, I'm thinking about upgrading from the 20gb photography plan to the 1tb plan. Can full-size photos exist both on LR online and on the LR Classic hard drive? Will edits sync? What's a good way to upgrade the online photos from smart previews?

Na galeria do app Lightroom as fotos não ficam listadas em ordem correta.Só existe a possibilidade de inverter a ordem, mas mesmo assim elas não ficam na ordem correta que foram tiradas na câmera. Isso acaba dificultando bastante o uso na galeria do app.  

I spent almost 3 hours to edit a photo and when i press export option the application simply went back to home page and not showing my pic at all.. 

I am on an iPhone 13 Pro Max and running LR 8.5. I have 4500 photos in All Photos. I have them sorted by Date.  Is there a quick way to move from the oldest to the newest (or vice versa) other than swiping?     {Thread title updated by moderator}

I am using a HP Chromebook x360 and the Lightroom Google Play app.  I uploaded my photos directly from my SD card into the app.  I used the "Add Photos" icon and there was not option to change the quality. I have a Canon 5D Mark IV.  I shot in jpeg (not raw).When I zoom in on in-focus pictures on my photo viewer directly from the SD card, they are clear.  When I zoom in on the pictures in lightroom, they look pixally.  Not the image quality I expected with this camera/lens.  I am new to this gear and lightroom, so suggestions would be helpful. Is there something I can do to ensure the quality remains as high as possible?  For these pictures and for future pictures?I don't want to waste time editing pictures when they are low quality in LR.I have attached screen shots of the same photo zoomed in, viewed off the SD card and viewed in LR app.
