Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I am trying to import photos from my sd card into LR on my Samsung phone.  It picks up the sd card reader but only shows the nikon001.dsc folder. I even tried using the back up sd card as the photos are on both so I don't think it is an sd card failure. Any advice welcome.

May 2023: I am running close to the 100 GB space limit in my Lightroom cloud storage so I have started exporting edited images and deleting albums and folders. However, I have run into anomalous behaviour by Lightroom which means I have to check the results very carefully. I have provided links to descriptions of two separate anomalies I have run into. The Adobe team are taking these reports seriously, so we can expect improvements, but my guess is that editing and AI advances will take priority to attract new customers. In the meantime, if you are exporting and/or deleting images, please observe the results carefully and report unexpected behaviour to Adobe.a) I import photos in large batches from WhatsApp on my iPhone - it's a really useful and time-saving feature in the iPhone Lightroom app. However, images taken within a minute of each other will arrive with the same filenames. Hello! I have found a few answers regarding the issue with deleted photos being greyed out, and have gotten into a rythm of frequently restarting my computer and LR app to get around the issue. But I am going insane from the fact that LR rather than deleting the greyed out photos keeps restoring them. My internet is not stellar, and I know that I should probably just migrate the entire thing to LR Classic, but right now I'm in a position where I just need to delete dud photos to get them out of the system so I can cancel my 1TB sub. (I'm barely two gigs away from my goal.) It's just so frustrating that I'm only allowed to delete 10-15 photos before I need to restart everything and wait for the sync. Is there any way to instruct LR to not restore but to just delete those greyed out photos? 

Hello. Why, when I go to the same lightroom with the same ID that I have in my mobile on macbook, it opens for me and writes that your subscription has expired. My payment is removed every month and everything works fine in the mobile version. On my laptop, it shows old photos there and writes that I need to renew my subscription. But even when I try to update it gives an error (How can I solve this problem?. At the beginning, the subscription was bought in Russia, then, due to the fact that payment cards stopped working, I changed it to another one and everything is still fine with payments. But it is on laptops that after that I can't open the same lightroom to synchronize my phone and laptop. It's important for me for work. Please HElP. Thanks 

Hello.In Lightroom 6.2 (Windows 10), I have a persistent issue where I am unable to create a mask if Lightroom does not recognize a person in the photo. Opening the masking tab for the first time on a photo greets me with an automatic search for people. If it finds any, it then creates a mask I did not want, but gives me access to making other masks. If it doesn't find any, it gets stuck—pressing the X brings me to mask sliders, but gives no option to actually create a new mask.The only workaround to this I've found is to keep the masking tab open and switch to a photo that Lightroom will recognize a person in, but this is neither practical nor intended. Hopefully. After pressing X:What it should look like: It's as if there's a UI element missing. Am I doing something wrong or is Lightroom being Lightroom?

I have an album I want to share.  When I'm in the album, I click on the share icon in the upper right corner.  It generates a shareable link.  But those who use the link only see a single photo.  There are 130 photos in the album.  I note that at the top of the screen the single image that those who have the share link see is that one.  But I want to share all the images, not one. I need to adjust a setting or do the sharing process differently.  But I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.  I've added a screenshot with shows the single image above the larger album images and the share icon. Both are circled.

Lightroom is saying my subscription is expired but its not. Ive paid for this month but its not letting me use any of the premium features. The restore button does nothing. This is for Android Mobile App

Lightroom Mobile is awesome and I love it but lately it is Constantine spinning waiting for edits to open to continue editing images.  It never did this in the beginning but now it is irritating and frustrating.  I have cleared out my cache as others suggested but still having issues.  Anyone know a fix? Lightroom (Adobe) fixing this issue?

I added photos to Lightroom on web and edited them there and put them in an album. Now, when I want to see those images in the album on the Lightroom mobile app on my iPhone, they are not visible. I cannot figure how to make the two stay in sync, even though I am logged into both accounts with my same user name.   Expected result - When I add photos to an album in Lightroom on desktop while logged into my Adobe Cloud account, those photos are visible when I am logged into the same account on a mobile device. Actual result - When I add photos to an album in Lightroom on desktop while logged into my Adobe Cloud account, those photos are NOT visible when I am logged into the same account on a mobile device.   Version of the app - * web 6.3.1* iPhone v8.3.2 Platform and OS version - * Web Dell Laptop with Windows 11 Pro * Mobile iPhone SE with iOS v16.5

For some reason, over the course of about 20 different versions of Lightroom, I've somehow mistakingly made duplicates of SOME images throughout my photo library of 15k+ images. Can anyone please please please tell me that there is a way for me to filter out dupes without having to go through one by one?

This occured first a few days ago. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the app, the problem persists. Last sunday I used the app to take the photos in raw format. All fifteen something photos turned out equal, except some were shown in portrait mode and some in landscape. Today I repeated the session to see if the problem was solved by itself, but no. Every time I take photos with different scenes, the first scene is repeated on the subsequent photos. When I close the app, or leave the camera setting, and then restart the camera on the app, the problem is repeated, the first scene is repeated onto the next photos as identical copies, however with different time stamps and sequential numbers. Strange. which is the primary suspect, the LR app or the phone? The standard photo app functions as normal.

I didn't have much time for photography over the last couple of years, things went a bit messy and I'm now trying to clean up my catalog and photo library. Until recently, my main computer was an old 2009 iMac on which I was running Lightroom Classic with the latest version available for this machine. My originals were (and still are) stored on a NAS, with Smart Previews synced in the cloud through collections. Over the last 6-7 years, I also had 2 iPads, 3 iPhones and 2 Android devices auto-importing pics in Adobe cloud through Lightroom Mobile. My main computer is now a PC, and I successfully imported the Lightroom Classic catalog from my iMac into Lightroom Classic on this new PC. I had to tell Lightroom were to find the originals due to a bug: Lightroom Classic couldn't find the originals on my NAS for folder names which contained accented letters. I'm on a windows 10 laptop, latest lightroom version.  My keyboard is standard US qwerty but my input is Japanese IME. There's Roman letter input and Japanese symbol input options.I also have UK English keyboard installed. In none of these does the \ backslash shortcut for before / after work. I've tried pushing every key, it has disappeared.  I just installed the US keyboard too and it doesn't work there either.Shift + S doesn't work.  Does anyone know this shortcut please. I know they can't be mapped, but I just need to know where it is hiding.  Many thanks

I photograph dance recitals in local high school auditoriums.  More and more the venues are adding LED lighting fixtures.   LED lighting is great for generating different color light without the use of gels, but creates a unworldly purple cast on the faces.   I have tried a slower shutter speed but as you can imagine, the dancers show motion blur. Interestingly the histogram of an LED lit image shows a clear Red, Green, and Blue peak corresponding to the RGB LEDs? Any suggestions?
