Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I've been really struggling with lightroom on my computer recently. I have Lightroom on my windows laptop, and everything I've read online about speeding it up is meant for Lightroom classic not Lightroom. I've done everything I can. I have more space than necessary and more than all suggested minimum requirements but more and more lightroom is not functioning. It's just so damn slow. I thought that as Lightroom stores images in the cloud and not locally that it shouldn't slow it down, but does the cloud slow it down? And does anyone know is Lightroom Classic faster than Lightroom? i really need some good solutions here cause it's driving me insane.

Hello, yesterday I installed the new iOS 16.3.1 version on my ipad pro (3rd generation) and I encountered the following problem when I want to import photos from a memory card: I insert the card and click "add photos from device with camera". I get all the photos and scrolling down the preview is very slow.Normally I don't import all the photos but only the ones I choose and before this iOS version scrolling down was very fast and the photos were displayed immediately. Now they have to load and the preview is very slow, I scroll down and for a few seconds the previews are black.I have also updated Lightroom to version 8.2.1 but the problem persists. Has anyone experienced the same problem and knows how to solve it?Thanks for any help!

I can't create presets from DNG file  even with profile settings selected. Instead it only creates presets with all other settings selected. But when I copy the settings it works. Mind you, all other DNG files work with all settings including the profile is created. If you don't quite understand, I could clarify it for you as it may be a little complicated with my choice of words/structure of sentences.   {Edited the thread title by the moderator]

Hi all, is there a way to import a user created camera profile into the iPad version of Lightroom like you can with Lightroom Classic?  Just got a new lens (Sony 20-70 G) and while Adobe doesn't have a profile for it yet, a third party has created one that people say will work good enough until we get an official solution.  However I can't find a way to import it on my iPad like people are telling me to for Classic (I don't own classic FWIW). Am I missing something obvious, or is this not possible?  Thanks for your help.

On my Mac and my Android phone, lots of my photos in Lightroom CC revert to displaying the original version when I open them up. The thumbnail versions (when I'm looking at a bunch of photos on the screen at the same time) are correct, showing the edited photos. But when I look at an individual photo, the edited version is replaced by the pre-edited original. This does not happen when I'm using Lightroom for the web, but it happens (for the same photos) on both LR for Mac and LR for Android.   (Interestingly, if I export the photo, the software correctly exports the edited version even though it has been showing the pre-edited original on the screen.)   Help, please!

first problem is I can't sign out of LR on my Mac book, it's not showing me an option.second, i renewed my account under a different card and under a different Apple ID. Same email for my adobe account though and when I try to log in on the Mac book it says I have to renew but I can access LR through my phone. I do majority of my editing on the laptop so that's why it's kind of an issue. Sorry for the long post, thank you.

Today I open Lightroom app in my iPad.it need me to login my account,I login my account.but I find all my photo disappear ,only some old photo(3gb).may be belong to my another account .I open setting app,but I find there still has 33gb(all my photo),but in Lightroom I can only find 3gb old photo.please help me to find my total photo,thanks!

Starting March 2023, LR mobile app is constantly crashing. Cannot even do one photo. Cache is clean, 5 photos in library, 29.4 gb of storage free, battery fully charged, internet connection solid and fast, Samsung S7 ultra tablet. Is anyone experiencing app crashes that started in March 2023?

Hi guys,   All the keyboard shortcut lists I find for Cloud Based Lightroom show that "O" should cycle overlays. Whether I have Crop, Brush, Healing etc selected.. "O" simply does nothing. I have to right click and select "Cycle Overlay" every time.   I'm using version 3.2.1. on Windows.    Please help if you have any suggestions - much appreciated!

Hi Any help would be gratefully received. Yesterday I decided to try and sort out my library of photos in Lightroom on my ipad. BIG mistake. I flagged the rejected photographs and pressed delete..... Even bigger Mistake i was reminded that the dleted photographs could be recovered for 60? days. I now realise that I have deleted a few of the photos in error, but I have no idea how to reterive them!!! I feel under pressure as the clock is ticking. I am new to lightroom mobile so would welcome any help you can give. Thanking you in anticipation  

In v6.1 (Mac), if I right-click a photo in grid view, the context menu says that "T" is the keyboard shortcut to send a photo to the Target Album. But if I press the T key, I get a confirmation dialog saying that it wants to remove the current photo. This behavior is different from selecting the context menu item with the mouse, which *does* send it to the Target album.    

Hopefully someone can help me with this as I've exhausted other options.  I previosuly bought Lightroom Mobile and had it for about 5 months now. I downloaded the desktop app on my Macbook Pro running macOS big sur 11.7.2. I was using both simutaneously, no problems there. This past week I purchased Photoshop and haven't gone to edit any photos with it yet, decided I'd stick with LR. Went to log into LR and it had logged me out, and said that I needed to get the Free Trial. I updated both the mobile LR and desktop LR. Problem still occurred. I click on the option to 'restore purchase' and it tells me that I cannot renew purchase due to it already being stored from the Apple store with a different Adobe Id. Okay, so I go to click on 'start free trial' and sign in and it tells me that I'm already subscribed. I try to click the sign-in on the top right of the desktop app and I cannot. I am logged in via mobile, but need to use via desktop

Boa noite , o meu problama começou á alguns dias , ao abrir o Lightroom passados uns segundos o pc reenicia automaticamente !  Já tentei varias soluçoês mas o problama continua o que me impede de trabalhar e tenho uma assinatura paga . Se alguem me poder ajudar agradeço muito. Utilizo windows 11 ja desde que foi lançado mas só agora é que este problema acontece 

MY lightroom keeps saying that my subscription has ended when i have 9 months left on my subscription. I have tried to sign out an back in, but nothing seems to work..

my images keep dafating to Adobe color after importing now mayter what I do. In camera I have the profile set to NT. Settings in Lightroom are for camera profile. Using a Sony a7iv. It used to be fine but in the last month it's changed. What can I do to fix this?  It's making my editing process take a lot longer. I've even tried to create a preset for camera NT and set that as the default when importing. Still goes to Adobe color. 

Hi, when the ALT key is pressed in Lightroom Classic you are given a visualisation of the mask effect being applied when sharpening, is there any way that this functionality can be used in Lightroom Mobile on iPad?Cheers.Steve.

I purchased AI presets that work on the newest version of Lightroom 5.4 but does not work on my iPad Pro Lightroom. I'm new to the iPad and I'm wondering if there is something I may be doing to cause these presets not to work. They are loaded but when I roll over them they do not change the image. The preset shows up in the mask as a warning triangle and Lr requires that it be “recomputed”. Once it does this the image changes to reflect the presets input and the warning triangle changes to reflect the action of the preset. I went back to the preset choices and unfortunately, this does not change my inability to see what changes are made to the image as I roll over the presets It appears that Adobe did not migrate the most recent updates for their Lightroom mobile devices.Does anyone know when Adobe might update Lightroom for their mobile devices to reflect the most current updates on Lightroom and Lightroom Classic?

Guys! I DESPERATELY need help. All of a sudden, my lightroom is NOT responsive AT ALL on my desktop mac. ive tried uninstalling, installing, updating my mac. NOTHING. it just lags and lags at the beginning and then i have to force quit. im sooo upset.
