Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

The masking tool is not working after the most recent Lightroom update. 

I am not using Lightroom Classic, so many of the posts giving fixes do not apply as i am new to photography and the Adobe ecosystem, so not using Classic as i would assume the newer products would be easier to use. On switching the profile to Adaptice Colour, it is forcing me to manually press the update button on every individual photo. I have tried the (Photo > Update Ai Settings) when selecting multiple photos, but this does not work at all. as you can imagine, this is highly frustrating as the whole app seems to be slow even with all hardware acceleration turned on, so going through hundreds of photos just to click one button before even applying any other edits is frustrating. I would be cancelling my plan, but magically, there's a £50 cancellation fee. Adobe Lightroom Version 8.3.1 - 200250505-2344-4fb7147 

So I'm mainly still working in Lightroom Classic as likely most of you, but I sync libraries I'm currently working on from LR Classic to Creative Cloud so I can work on those photos on the go on my Surface Pro 4 with the new Lightroom CC and have changes synced back to LR Classic. This works actually quite nicely if you know the limitations.Now, speaking of working on the go with my Surface Pro 4, I prefer to work with touch and the Surface Pen to edit my photos instead of attaching the keyboard and a mouse. It works ok - as in LR Classic, it's still a mess to adjust the sliders with touch or a pen as you have to move them quite a bit before they even start moving, setting the value way of what you want - and then it's still very jumpy when you try to adjust it to the value you want. But I can deal with that for now.Far worse is the problem that I do not find a way to show the white/black clipping and sharpening mask when using touch/pen. It works with the keyboard and mouse attached b

What can I do now ? 

Syncing photos and clearing all ones to make space has been a NIGHTMARE recently. It keeps clearing the cached data and syncing again and again from the cloud that takes ages, to just do it again after a restart.  I have never been so frustrated with Lightroom in my 4 years of experience

Using the latest lightroom 8.5.1Macbook Pro M4 16Gb 15.6.1 Opening a DNG file or using inbuilt de noise creates the same issue, a black border is added to high contrast areas. The DNG files do not contain this when viewed outside lightroom.

A alguien mas le pasa ? Los videos guardados en mi almacenamiento de la nube, no se descargan desde Android, o lo hacen demasiado lento, dejo la app 10/15 min asi y aun no descarga  

When I shift select multiple images in grid view and hit X to reject them, they get all rejected as expected. When I shift select multiple images in detail view and hit X, only the current image gets reject, which is not what I would expect. I can right click and set the flag to rejected and it rejects all of them as expected, but the extra 2 clicks to do that is annoying. Can we get the same batch rejection functionality in the detail view please?

My suggestion is to please add a magnifying glass feature to the object removal feature. This will allow for more detailed removal of objects that interfere with the photo. Please implement this immediately. I am sure many people will agree with the addition of this magnifying glass feature.

Is there any way possible we can add music to our videos and pics? If not, I think it would be an amazing add-on to your app and draw more people in. I like the app except for the part I can't add music. Please let me know ASAP if you are going to add a music option anytime soon.Thank you, Adobe! Hello, I'm new to lightroom. I downloaded onto my MacbookPro. Downloaded some presets from Etsy, uploaded 3, no problem. Then went to add a fourth - from a different seller - and it seems to have glitched. Has not uploaded and the upload bar is stuck in the middle. I think I uploaded the wrong format. The first three were just xmp, the new folder had xmp and irtemplate. Has that caused an issue? It's the same on my iphone, can't upload. I've removed Lightroom from the laptop and redownloded still have the same issue. Also, the Lightroom App square at the bottom of the laptop screen has a bar lit to halfway so it looks like it's still uploading. Is there a way to forcestop and remove things and reupload? Please help! I'm not super savvy with all this stuff. 

Unable to export images after edit to folder on desktop there's a prompt that Credentials could not be something and there's no internet access. My connection is working fine. Looks like you guys are enjoying your weekend when your clients are suffering from an outage...

Also anoying is when you proceed the next day in al old file you can't put the number in where you've left off, it goes back to 1. ALso anoying to work with why is this?

For some time now, the Generative AI remover has been using horribly low-resolution images in the areas it changes. In its current state, it’s not usable. 

I have the paid version of lightroom however my lens blur feature has stopped working. Any ideas? I have uninstalled and reinstalled, signed out and back in,  cleared cache. This only stopped working the past month.

Unable to export images from Adobe LR to my edited folder on my desktop. Some images show the yellow double line tick despite me updating AI settings multiple times in the program

Bonjour,  Depuis ce week end, impossible de travailler sur LR sur mac, il s'ouvre mais dès que je veux utiliser les masques, IA, la réduction de bruit par exemple. Ca tourne en boucle, et LR me force à quitter. En somme, dès son ouverture, impossible de l'utiliser. J'ai essayer d'éteindre l'ordi et rallumer. Désinstaller et réinstaller, ca ne change rien. Mon appli elle sur mon telephone Samsung, elle fonctionne très bien. Mais je ne vois pas editer 2 mariages et 4 seances photos sur mon téléphone. Pouvez vous m'aider svp ?

If you search for an album name (or a folder name) and click on the result in the search results, you're taken to the album, but it's not expanded in the sidebar. If I manually expand the sidebar tree, I can see that the album is selected, but it's kind of a nuisance that I have to go manually expand the tree myself. There doesn't seem to be any easy way to "jump to" an album whose name I know.

When adding a new rule for a smart album, the select is rendered too tall, such that it goes below the bottom of the app. There doesn't appear to be any scrolling enabled, so the options at the bottom of the list are completely inaccessible. I'm assuming "Stars" is down there, which means I can't add any kind of Stars-based rule / album. See attached screenshot.

It only lets me share/export images one by one, which is a serious problem.
