We have been tagging our galleries with keywords for years. Hours of work doing this. Now, it will not properly allow us to search for the photos by the keywords we set. We use this in a browser. We have tried reverting back to version 7 of lightroom. We have tried different browsers. We need a fix to be able to accurately sort the photos by the keywords search we created. The “known issue” fix from June was not helpful to our problem.
After the April 2026 update, the search function seems to have (somehow) gotten worse. I know that the update says it addresses search problems but it seems to have broken things. In all of my photos in Lightroom, I identify people by name and put them into the captions. Prior to this, I could search lightroom and all of this person’s photos would show up. Suddenly I am getting the most BIZARRE results when searching people’s names. The name “Cait” brings back a ton of cat pictures for example - i guess it thinks i am looking for cats? Not everything needs AI. My entire workflow has been disrupted by this, does anyone know how to fix this?
In mask, the 'select background' option is highlighting my white background with a white table that I want to separate from the background. I have run out of ideas on how to achieve this. It keeps seeing the table as a background.
After the update, my user presets disappeared. Is there any way to get them back?
I’m using Lightroom cloud based program and sorting and deleting photos from an album on the Adobe cloud and the program keeps crashing and restarting as I do this. This has never happened before. I’m not getting any error messages.
I am a headshot photographer. I crop one headshot and then copy that shot and batch paste the other headshots. I have been able to do this, as soon as I have uploaded my images into Lightroom, as the photos are syncing. Recently I haven’t been able to do this. I have to wait until all the images are totally synced to the Cloud. If I don’t wait, the paste settings freeze (where the blue status bar stops half way and doesn’t move) and the paste setting have only affected a few images leaving the other images untouched. I have to quit Lightroom to reset everything. This is really frustrating and time consuming when I have a lot of team headshots to crop and edit. Not sure why this has started happening recently? Any ideas?
I am reporting a reproducible Lightroom Desktop / Camera Raw disk-exhaustion bug.Environment• Lightroom Desktop 9.5 (build 20260728-0500-db8bf00)• Camera Raw 18.5x2673• macOS 26.2, Apple M1 Max, 32 GB unified memorySteps to reproduce1. Edit a duplicate RAW photo.2. Perform several Generative Remove operations and AI masks.3. Monitor free disk space while Lightroom remains open.In one reproducible session, Lightroom held 23 deleted-but-open cr_sdk scratch files totaling about 44 GiB. The files are already unlinked, so Finder and du do not show them, but their disk blocks remain allocated until Lightroom exits. Quitting Lightroom immediately restores the free space.Relevant Camera Raw log:cr_scratch_file: using multiple files (new method)Scratch generations in use: 22 old + 1 active (allocated=47240720384 live=1115922432 bytes)Thus about 47.24 GB was allocated while only about 1.12 GB was live. The old generations grew in roughly 2-GB increments after AI operations. I observed 14 Generat
(MacOS) I'm about to lose my Adobe subscription (graduation) and mostly want to make sure that I don't lose my 15,000 photo library that I have in Lightroom. I have the storage to move it to either a cloud or an external hard drive, but I'm struggling to know the best way to go about it. What would be the best way to make sure I have a backup somewhere? Both catalog but also the actual photos. I'm also confused about where I can find my Lightroom library. I'm using Lightroom CC, and can't find my photo library in the Creative Cloud application. On the home page, under "recents" some photos show up, but I can't find the rest of them in the app. I thought I was supposed to be able to since the photos aren't being stored anywhere else on my computer?Sorry for the rambly post, two seperate questions/issues really. Thanks for your help.
Please see attached screenshot.
still no super resolution for the iPad mobile versions this is completely unacceptable.
The latest version is very useless version. Earlier versions were sending the edits to cloud so that if I open the files I could see them in Recent edits section and continue my work. Now what happens is nothing goes to cloud whenever the app hangs or catsup the disk. Earlier, it used to send last best known edit to cloud so you do not loose everything. Lets say for example I am working on layers, removed something from the photo and did multiple things on the photo, earlier versions were sending at least for say removal part & layers part to cloud, so that if the app crashed or something issues, I can start from edits section & continue with my editing workflow. Now nothing in editing section & I have to start from step 0, hence the time loosed earlier and more of an effort to recall what was my editing workflow & steps were done last time. So I am really pissed off here. Why the hell do you ship a version which is so inconsistent. I am facing this issue from the day I
Where are my picures?Mod: Email addresses removed for Privacy.
Blur option is not showing my device
After using Remove tool for AI removal once or twice it freezes lightroom so I can't click anything and has a select remove to get started blue box. Nothing works. Have to restart again and again. I open up lightroom, remove one item or maybe a few at times, then it freezes and I’m unable to click anything and unable to get back to the remove tool. It just shows the select remove to get started box. I have a project to get to a client tonight so this is very frustrating that I have to re-open lightroom again and again. I updated to the latest version and it still gives me this issue. Also the yellow AI updating is not working at all.
Since I updated lightroom it has been deleting any edits that I make on the remove tab if I try to toggle the "hide adjustments" button, essentially the same as if I hit the reset button next to it. Is this a bug with the update, how do I fix this?
I would like to see Masking for Objects in Lightroom Mobile. Make it smart and content aware so you can select things like trees, mountains etc.. Have the selection tool a brush, radial, and square options.
Please add multplay subject and removed in one picture. This is very annoying on picture one subject automatic sleact. Please This option add next update.it is requared very much. Please add this futcher i strongly insist.
I don’t think I have lightroom15.5 on my deskstop
I keep getting the same Warning message when trying to export finished edited photos (even when I update all AI edits on an image): some images were rendered using low resolution AI generated content. Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?
Dear Adobe Lightroom Team, I am writing to complain about a long-standing issue with Lightroom Mobile on Android: imported photographs are displayed from the last shot to the first shot by default. For photographers working through an actual shoot, this is backwards. If I photograph a sequence from image 001 through image 500, I expect Lightroom to show me 001 first and allow me to work forward through the shoot chronologically. Instead, Lightroom shows the newest photograph first, forcing me to select Reverse Order. The bigger problem is that Lightroom does not provide a proper global preference to make chronological, oldest-to-newest sorting my permanent default. I have been dealing with this behaviour for a very long time, and having to repeatedly reverse the order is an unnecessary frustration in an otherwise excellent mobile photography workflow. I specifically use Lightroom Mobile/Cloud and do not want Lightroom Classic to be the solution. Lightroom Mobile should be capable of re
Your latest update which I wish I hadn't updated to has removed the choose your best photo feature on mobile Android devices. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good place to start my editing process.
