Hello, after installing Yosemite on my iMac 27 I faced an issue: When I use Refine Edge in Photoshop CC 2014, I try to change the view using hotkeys, all keys are working (M, V, B, K, L, R, F) except for W. When I press W error sound sounds and nothing happens. Looks like there is a conflict of this key with the Mac OS X Yosemite. Do you know this problem? Do you know how to fix this problem?

When an action is recorded in Photoshop CC or CC 2014 the mode change to duotone is always defined as a description of duotone ink and transfer points. Even when loading a duotone preset while recording. We have to go back to Photoshop CS5 to record an action defined as a link to a duotone preset. The problem is when an action with the description of Duotone transfer points is played back only the first 5 transfer points are used for each curve. All the transfer points past the fifth are set to null, including 100. Also transfer points that are equal, like Value: 50 - Response: 50, are not recorded at all. That is a problem because equal value transfer points like that are used along with other transfer points to set the slope of curves. They can't just be ignored. I have examples of the correct duotone curves and the results when playing it back from an action. It seems that when I do this, regardless of the text settings, all I get is a tiny blob of ink at the path node where I tried to initiate the text on the path.

Hello, I've read a previous post regarding this topic. Someone could please confirm me that there is no way to place a guide (using View > New Guide... > type in px o cm) relative to rulers' origin?If I place the origin of the rulers in the middle of a 800x600 px document and try to create a vertical guide typing in the pixels, for example 20 px, the guide is placed 20 px from the left margin of the document and not at 420 px (using absolute x/y coordinates) as I'm expecting.Is this behaviour ok? For me it makes not a great sense...Luca

When saving a file, specifically TIFs in my case, that has a "^3" in the image name, photoshop changes the name during the saving process. For example, "1253352^339.tif" turns into "1253352tif39.tif" changing the ^3 to say tif instead.

Hello, I have noticed that, when I save a liquify mesh, the arrow cursor disappears behind the save mesh dialog. Instead of seeing the OS' regular arrow cursor, I can see the liquify brush behind it. This happens randomly, but more notoriously when the cursor touches any text input fields. As you can see in this screenshot, the blue arrow I've drawn is where the cursor should be. Instead, you can see the liquify brush behind the window. This happens with CC 2014 and remains in CC2015. Tried in various mac computers running Yosemite. Only happens in the LIQUIFY save mesh dialog, not the save document dialog. Thanks

Please change the Glyphs Panel behavior to be independent of the Type Tool's settings. As-is, it's not very useful.

I'm running Photoshop CC 2015 on Mac OS X 10.9.5 and every time I run the spell check, Photoshop QUITS!!! Please fix.

I'm in 2015.1.2, and I noticed as I'm trying to add bleed to a document, that my artboards are not sizing properly. The document is in 1200px in height, and when I change to inches, it enters it in as 1200 in, alerts me that the max is 444.44 in, and stalls the program. This happens for the width as well. I'm on OSX 10.10.5. Sorry if this is a bug fix that was already released, but I'd be happy to install if it is.

Since I use Photoshop cc 2015 the "file -> info" only saves the first word. Since Photoshop cc 2014, Photoshop copies the text and text style from another source (like a website or pdf). So, this gives me a lot of extra work to first copy the text from a website or pdf, paste into a node pad file and copy/paste it from the node pad file into Photoshop. Whats going wrong with adding text to the info file in Photoshop? - I don't want Photoshop to copy the text styles (from a website or pdf), just the text like it always did. - Why does Photoshop only save the first word (keyword) when I copied entire lines with commas from my node pad file? (I'm a Mac user)

I use a Macbook Pro laptop and connected monitor; Since upgrading to OS X El Capitan, Photoshop CC 2015 does not resize its window area when unplugging the computer from the (larger) monitor - meaning all the toolbars palettes are outside of the viewable screen real-estate. This happens with the Application frame on, and the only way I can see to solve it (ie get it to resize to fit the laptop screen area is to save all current docs, quit Photoshop and relaunch it, wherein it will fit to the new size. Resizing the laptop screen res in System preferences doesn't make a difference. It didn't do this in Mavericks - the application resized itself perfectly - but I don't think it's the OS as other apps seem to cope fine with on-the-fly screen size changes.

When you go to Automate > Batch and choose the destination Folder, the file browsers brought up by the Choose menus to select the Source and Destination folders are sorted differently. The Source lists numbers by their first digit (so it's file1.psd, file10.psd, file2.psd) and the Destination lists numbers bey their last digit (so it's file1.psd, file2.psd, file3.psd). This isn't a big deal for doing batches within simple file structures, but it can be confusing when working with a more complex project since the folders are listed in a different order (which can have disastrous results if you make a mistake and don't have a backup!). I've been automating batches for years, and this is a weird little glitch that I'd love to see sorted out. Thanks!

Can't duplicate a group below the current group by holding alt and dragging it. Im using Photoshop CC now, I was using CS5 before and have just upgraded. This was possible in CS5. You can duplicate every other type of layer but not the group itself.

Hello, In my Photoshop CC 2015.0.1 release, when using the "create new document from current state" button, smart objects' unlinked masks are systematically ignored. (MacPro OSX 10.9.5) Apart from that, kudos for Photoshop that I've been happily using since version 3.0 (back in 1995). Cheers

Photoshop CC 2015.1 - Now I can't open new images using drag-and-drop on usual photoshop area (zone 2 on screenshot), possibly to use very small zone 1. It's just my personal PC problem, or anybody have some bug?

When editing video, the play-head can become out of sync with the red line beneath it. This is re-creatable by zooming into the timeline quickly. (It may take a few tries.) I believe this occurs more with larger videos but that may not be the case. e.g.

When i make a keyboard shortcut for playing an action ( Ctrl+shift+< ) it is saved and I summarize and save the shortcuts but the next time I open Photoshop, the shortcut has been changed to ( Ctrl+shift+&) which is impossible to use... This is most likely a bug that should be fixed!

Photoshop CC 2015.5.1 - When adding noise to the blurred area it is not seamless. This happens with all filters in the blur gallery except with the spin blur filter where the noise is smoothly blended to the edge of the blurred area. These sample images have such a high amount of blur just to show the problem I have with the filters. It occurs on both Mac and Windows versions of Photoshop.

When working with a PSD containing text, I cannot edit the type layer within the file, if the file is opened from the recent files drop down or the home screen in Photoshop. I have not tested this with other file types but seems to be an issue with any PSD I open.Opening using Finder or the open dialogue works fine.

Just wanted to provide feedback that there is a bug in Photoshop 2017 when viewing a file on Photoshop stretched across two monitors. I am using a 2010 Mac Pro with two 30 inch Apple Cinema Displays running separately on two ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics cards. The image repeats when placed between screens. This issues does not occur on the 2015.5 version.

just updated a few days ago to 2017.1 and my shortcuts keep reverting to default tool , i searched the forums and found this was a problem a few version back and was fixed , i am on mac, sierra

Recently I noticed the latest release of PS that memory use has double when just starting the program. Also it is sluggish when closing down. Before when starting PS and sitting at the startup screen the memory use was around 400mb. Now at the same place I'm hitting around 1,543.8mb or more and I haven't opened a file yet.

I worked on script for removing unused effects. Instead I found total chaos. I found 10 bugs and I found that is impossible to do script which will work correctly.Here is list of sh*ts you can't remove layer style/effect if app.doForcedProgress() dialog is shown you can't remove e.g. second drop-shadow from three even if script listener records code with list item index... it always removes first you can't use code for removing style/single-effect if all effects are disabled or main visibility is disabled. In photoshop you can do it, but recorded code in script listener doesn't works if I clear style with drag and drop fx icon to recycle bin, it removes style and keep blending options... but code recorded in script listener doesn't there is no posibility read options if mask hides effects... so if you read descriptor, change values and set descriptor, it always reset these settings to default values action "paste layer effect and keep advanced blending" is incorectly recorded in scrip
