Hello! When recording actions in the past, I can click, drag and delete a Path and the action is recorded in a single step. For example, the action would read "Delete path 'Path 1'."I've recently noticed that now when I try to record the same process, two steps are recorded: "Select 'Path 1'" and then "Delete current path." Seems minor, right? This can lead to a problem if you have no 'Path 1' in your document. If you already have any other path selected, this two-step process will delete the other path you have selected! This affects me when I want to clean up a bunch unneeded paths in a series of documents before I send finals to the client. My files usually have paths named a certain way, but not every file has every path. When select-and-delete a path was in one step and the target path is not present in a document, Photoshop produces an error, but no other paths are affected. With it in two steps there is the potential that a path I want to keep would get deleted. I have to remember
Bug Report: Layer Stack bug in Photoshop 2015.5 Mac OS X Yosemite. - After opening layer in a stack trying to reverse the order of the layers using Layer > Arrange > Reverse - the following message is displayed - 'Could not complete the Reverse command because of a program error'
When using the new GUI in Photoshop 2017 for creating a new document in Photoshop, script events that are setup to trigger on 'New Document' do not fire and so they fail to run.Reverting to the old 'Legacy' New Document GUI fixes the problem straight away. This is pretty bad as we rely on script events to trigger on 'New Document' to setup layers automatically. This should function for both old & new GUI's regardless. Can this be fixed up please as I like the new GUI with its quick shortcuts to recent document sizes and standard photo/paper sizes.Thanks.
After Photoshop CC 2017 Nik Dfine2 hangs on MacOS. Sierra. this appears on 2 different machines. Uninstalled NIK tools and reinstalled it.. but no change .. Anyone ?Cheers KeesNote: This conversation was created from a reply on: Problems with 2017.1.
I have recently installed Photoshop CC 2017.1 on a brand new computer.Everything seems to be working fine until I try to close Photoshop at the end of a session.I get the message "save changes to the Adobe Photoshop document "" before quitting"I tried to save the non existant document and now get a message telling me that the document is being saved in the background, Photoshop will quit after saving has completed. This seems to take forever to complete.I tried creating a new file 100px X100px and tried to save it and now see theAdobe Photoshop CC 2017 has stopped working message.Upon restarting Photoshop it seems to work as expected and closed down properly. This is the third time today I have had this problem so it seems like time to see if anyone can offer some help
what's more annoying is that if you set it to loop "Forever", then change the resolution, it will revert back to "Once"! at least change that...Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Photoshop: GIF looping options doesn't "stick" in CS6 Extended?.
The best description is the video.Artifacts appear when level curve (active or disactive there no difference) clipped to the folder
Hi, I've found a bug in CC when setting opacity across multiple selected groups. Previously, selecting multiple groups and pressing numpad 5 gave all groups an opacity of 50%, whilst respecting the individual opacity setting of child elements. Doing the same in CC results in the expected behaviour on the first group (lowest in layer stack), but also sets opacity of child elements to 50% (or whatever was entered). Cheers!
Photoshop 2017.0.1: Can you please revert (or tell me a way I can manually revert) the default Properties back to Masks when working on a layer that is masked? Ugh. Normally I'd ask why but I'm not even going to anymore. Only asking if you'll fix it or tell me how I can fix it. Again, changing something that didn't need to be. With an ever-growing list, here's one more thing that will causes dozens upon dozens of extra clicks.PS 2015:Default for masks is...that's right, Masks! Good job, 2015!PS 2017:Default for masks is...no 2017, not Pixel Layer Properties. Go sit in the corner.
Photoshop (CC 2015.5.1) frequently switches into "right to left" text mode. It seems random; Photoshop has "Default Features" in the Type > Language Options menu checked on.I am able to switch back to "left to right" mode by checking on "Middle Eastern Features", and clicking on the "left to right" button in the Paragraph dialog. I then switch back to "Default Features". But after some time, Photoshop will go back into "right to left" text mode, and I would have to repeat the process above to correct it.Is anyone else experiencing this, or has experienced and know of a way to make it stay in "left to right" mode permanently? This bug is very annoying and I hope it can be looked into. Thanks!
I wanted to submit a bug report after running into this issue with a client and confirming it on my own system. This is with Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5. According to the client the issue did not exist on 2015.4The client has a SAN that uses ACLs to control permissions due to having multiple AD groups in use. They recently updated to Photoshop 2015.5 and immediately started having permission issues with PSD files. They were no longer able to save PSDs that other users had created. In looking into the issue I found that even though the ACLs were correct on the filesystem Photoshop was completely ignoring them and was defaulting to the POSIX permissions. POSIX on OS X are restricted to Owner R/W by default so this quickly became a problem. I verified it was only looking at POSIX by modifying the POSIX permissions on a test file (opened it to rwx-rw-r--) so that the group could write the file. This allowed the user to save the file which had been created by another user.I also verified
Hi,Thanks for adding Touch Bar support. However, the sliders seems to be too big and if I try to use the slider, it only can only be put at 0 or 100%. Using macOS 10.2.2.Thanks
There appears to be an issue in CC2017 and CC2015 with the menu item 3D Show/Hide Polygons. Selecting an area and hiding the polygons works correctly - however Reveal All - remains greyed out in the menu so the polygons cannot be unhidden. I checked in CS6 and this feature works as expected (i.e. once polygons are hidden then Reveal All becomes available to unhide them) .
I can point on the menu item but there is no texthttp://sklad.bereza.cz/00-jarda/00_screenshot/2016-08-28_162719.jpghttp://sklad.bereza.cz/00-jarda/00_screenshot/2016-08-28_162758.jpgPlease check it.
Mac OS 10.12.1 running Photoshop 2017.0.0. When trying to convert a grayscale image to a bitmap image, if any amount of the image is selected conversion fails and a program error alert appears.
Photoshop CC 2017.0.1 20161130.r.29 unusable for 3 minutes after drag-drop layers from another document! http://service.crazypanda.ru/v/clip2net/a/W/f5zW4FcfBf.pngThis happens every time when you drap and drop layer into this document. Here is the document itself:https://dl.dropbox.com/s/ygmmatnr3g108c9/uikit_3.psd
Photoshop CC 2017.0.1: When a document has abackground layer (which is locked) and the move tool is used then a warningmessage is given. That happens on new (unsaved) files and files saved as PSB,and TIFF. However if the file is saved as a PSD them on using the move tool thebackground is changed to Layer 0 and is unlocked without any warning.Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a document (no artboard just plain background layer)2. Try to move the layer with the move tool - warning is given3. Save as PSD4. Now try to move layer with move toolActual Result: Background layer converts to layer 0 , is unlocked and movesExpected Result:: Background layer remains locked and warning message appears
In Photoshop Batch Processing, it would be great if the Source Folder Window (... Choose ... Browse for Folder) could be resized. It's fixed at a small size and can pretty painful to use if you're navigating a lot of folders, or even a few. The Result Folder Window can be resized so why not the source?
I have created some icon buttons like this: dlgMain.btnMirror = dlgMain.grpExportPaths.add('iconbutton', undefined, iconImageMirror); dlgMain.btnMirror.preferredSize = [22, 22]dlgMain.btnMirror.helpTip = "Mirror Export directory to Source"dlgMain.btnMirror. function onMirrorClick() { //do stuff} The icon disappears on mouse hover. Does not happen in CC 2015.5.Also, changing icons in .onClick() callback causes button not to draw.
I created a Smart Object containing white text on a transparent background. The Smart Object has a .5 px Gaussian Blur applied as a Smart Filter. The blending options of the Smart Filter are set to Mode: normal, Opacity: 40%. If I edit the contents of the Smart Object (for example, change the position of the text) the Smart Object creates a dark halo around the text when it updates. If I edit the Smart Filter's blending options to reapply the same settings the halo disappears. It's a major drag to have to reapply the blending options anytime I update my smart object. Any thoughts? Thanks,Jeremy
I am seeing UI artifacts in macOS Sierra on a Mac Pro 2013 and MacBook Pro 15 retina 2012. It occurs in scrolling in brush presets or other menus with a mouse or Wacom pen. Only when dragging a scroll bar, not with the mouse wheel. Occurs in all photoshop versions
It was working on CS3. So I didn't update my photoshop for one year because of this problem. When I press "F" for full screen mode, it overlays the windows taskbar. And I need to see it because i have to check my emails, reply to msn and etc. It's very annoying problem whcih came with CS4 and still in CS5 and 5.1, too. I think CS3's full screen mode is better can i get it back?
This seems to be a regression in the new SVGOMG export module. Here's the source file. Each shape is made out of two rectangles with varying boolean modes (add, subtract, exclude, intersect). This is what Generator exports by default:Setting "svgomg-enabled": false in the Generator config produces the correct output:I realize that merging the shapes fixes the output, but that is not an acceptable solution.
Getting a white border which gets larger the larger the artboard becomes. 10.000 pixels seem to be the border where this problem starts happening. My prototyping device is an iPod Touch with Retina display which resembles an iPhone5. The Artboard is also 640px wide.
Just wanted to provide feedback that there is a bug in Photoshop 2017 when viewing a file on Photoshop stretched across two monitors. I am using a 2010 Mac Pro with two 30 inch Apple Cinema Displays running separately on two ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics cards. The image repeats when placed between screens. This issues does not occur on the 2015.5 version.
