Photoshop

summary:Photoshop crashes when using perspective warp. It takes up an ungodly amount of memory (200GB), freezes, and crashes. This is new--  I was working on a project where I had to perspective warp about 10 elements, one at a time. the first 5 were good, and then it stopped working. I flattened the finished perspective warped elements to save space, but it didnt help.  I have a Macbook M2 Pro with 32GB memory at 1TB HD. I have 500GB avail on the hard drive. My apps are up to date.  The file I'm working on is small, only 17MB. My photoshop performace settings are set to Photo / Default and 70% of RAM.  Any clue why this is happening? In general, for the past months, my photoshop has been unbelievably slow. Especially when using type. However this is no type at all in the file i'm working on now. Please help! This is an urgent work project I need to deliver ASAP. 

Are there general guidelines on how to use .as("px") with a script? I noticed a bug when calling it through UnitValue vs directly. Hello, My scratch disks are full and I keep bailing out all unnecessary files off my computer library but the notice keeps coming back! I want to use my external hard drive as my scratch disk instead of my computer's hard drive but it doesn't come up as an option when I go into Preferences to change my scratch disk. I've looked into this issue and it seems like I have to re-format my external hard drive to a weird format to make it a valid option that the computer recognizes. Is this a thing? (I'm on a Mac). Please help! I'm doing graphic design for a company and this is so frustrating! 

Hello everyone and Adobe.I have experienced a very unfortunate issue where my pen precision while selecting a color in the color palette doesn't get along together.I usually touch my tablet with the tip of my pen, and slide to the color I want to choose, then releasing my pen and the color gets selected. However, when I do that and select a slightly different color than the one originally selected, if I slide and release, the cursor gets back to its initial position (or go back to the nearest initial position) thus not taking the color I slided to.Here is a little GIF to show you. Look at the cursor, at times it follows my pen, and at other times it gets back to where I started. I touch & slide and then release. I do not click to select a color.Anyone have this trouble? Why does my cursor is "magnetized" to its original position if I slide slightly ?Thank you for any help.

Within 30 seconds of using the web version I am already quiting due to not having the most basic of tools. The sidebar is also super cluttered when selecting tools > sub tools versus regualr photoshop. Provide the too selection on the outer toolbar only and the settings for that specific tool in the subsequent menu window.

I have many sky photos (some I took myself) in my Photoshop CC library. For some reason they do not show in the sky replacemnt tool. I only have the default skies. I've tried imprting from the sky replacement dialogue box but I can not find the path for the CC library. I found the default sky path at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2025\Required\Sky_Presets. My problem is I cannot find the library path. I just realized it's in the cloud and I have that open, I still cannot fiue out how to get them to the default sky folder.  Believe me I have tried. I did not want to bother the group but it's been 2 hours searching and asking Google with no results. I am using Windows 11. PS- I've also opened up my CC Library and tried to copy that path into the sky replacement box, No go there also.

Als ik photoshop open kan ik geen foto openen in het programma. Ik krijg een zwart scherm.Als ik via lightroom een foto wil bewerken via "bewerken in" gaat de foto wel open in photoshop.Wat is hiervan de reden? en hoe kan ik dat oplossen?

I've been having this issue for a while now where from time to time photoshop takes about 5 minutes to open. Most of the time it's fine, however. Not only that but my photoshop just runs worse than I ever remember. I have a great computer so I shouldn't be having any issues. I've tried everything I can find online, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm trying to invert my Vector mask (The right one) while it's inside of my Layer mask (the middle one). I can't seem to invert. I want to invert this patter. I want the rounded recatangle be blank and the outside to have the pattern.

Whenever I choose option to "edit in" photoshop once I applied my adjustmend in lightroom, the file that is opened in photoshop displays green tint that was not present in lightroom.Considering my workflow (edit in lightroom  > open raw in photoshop and continue editing), what would be the best color settings for both applications?I may also add that once I export this file as jpg from photoshop, it's back looking normal (same as in lightroom).Example of mismatch between lightroom and photoshop.

My assets on Capture not sync with Photoshop app, how do I fix this. Adobe support have tried twice without success. 

Hi, my photoshop keeps crashing upon launch. Hi, there have been changes to the replacement color tool in the latest photoshop update : now when you pick a color, there is a circle appearing (with a little square in the middle) colored with the same color as the one picked. I don't get why (and if you pick another color, the circle is of the color you picked BEFORE that one) but ok... The major problem is that the tool seems to not work properly : if you replace the color with the sliders, the color is replaced but the area you picked from doesn't seem to get exactly the same replacement color as the other areas which had the exact same color. It's frustrating, i had to downgrade to 26.5.

Or its awaiable only in firefly web interface ? 

I finally just installed Photoshop 2022 on my new Macbook Pro.  Previously I was working with 2021 version.  When I got the new computer I just did a clean install.  Now all my brushes are not painting/erasing etc. to the edge of the circle cursor.  I double checked all the settings and cursor preferences and they are exactly the same as I had them in PS202.  Is there a new setting I'm not aware of in PS2022?  The cursor is only painting or erasing in the very center.  For example I have it set to 60 pixils and seems like I'm only getting the center 30 of that size.  It's making erasing and cloning very frustrating.

After experiencing the "black canvas" bug and working around it, I am not stuck on not being able to use my workspaces - a pretty important piece for my workflow. Not sure why, but the newest updates to Photoshop and Illustrator are grayed out in my Security settings. I reverted to Indesign 2024 because 2025was a nightmare of bugs. I assume full disk accesss has been granted, but it is grayed out, and there is no "+" button to re-add it. In fact, I can't remove it either. I have no abilityt to do anything. Mac OS Sequoia 15.4.1

They do the same thing!! Please create a new action where we can actually relink to file but for the one placed image I need to update. As it is, Relink to file updates all instances of that file in my doc, which I don't want. But no way to update a single placed image which I think is an important need!!!!

I have to keep re-setting my Character language box to English: USA. Even in the middle of a single document it will switch itself over to French or Spanish or some other language. What do I have to do to make it ALWAYS stay on English: USA ?It looks to me as if this question was first addressed over NINE years ago. There was no satisfactory answer then, and I can't find where it has been addressed since then.I'm on PSCC. iMac_macOS Mojave 10.14.2  and region preference is set to United States.Thank you,Sharron Lamb
