Photoshop

Hi, I'm a webtoon content editor. I've been struggling scaling the shape that has to be distance from the text about 40px or more depend on the size of the text. So i try to use guideline tool, 1st I add a guideline base on a text by using View > New guide frome shape, after that I want to add another guideline with about 40px distance around the text but Idk how to do it. Idk if I need a script for this or something. If anyone know how to make it or you have any other ideal to work it fast, can you teach me how to do it. Thanks a lot.You guy can try with the psd file in the attach file.

I have removed two Topaz Photoshop plug-ins from my computer in all the required places. The removed Plug-Ins still show up in the Automate Menu even though I believe I have trashed all related plug-in files. The file below shows the two plug-ins circled in red that remain. I have found no way to stop this from showing up. I have gone into the plug-ins folder and other Adobe preference files. This is happening on my Mac Studio and MacBook Pro with all updated system software. (Tahoe 26.0.1) Any advice would be helpful!  

Hello,I’ve been using Generative Fill since its release, and I feel that the results have gotten worse over time. At the beginning, it worked really well, but over the past year the output has become pretty bad—producing strange objects and random colors.Am I doing something wrong?

Per i computer con i processori che non hanno le AVX2, possibile non vi sia possibilità di usufruire dei nuovi aggiornamenti? Possibile che dobbiamo sostituire il PC per utilizzare appieno Photosjhop, pur pagando l'abbonamento aumentato? 

Hi all, I am not sure for the following noob question. If I open up some raw photos in lightroom or photoshop, it will use the prophoto colour space for preview, if my monitor is calibrated to the Adobe RGB profile and I export the JPG with ARGB profile tagged to it, it will view perfectly on a normal sRGB monitor as it knows that the values are for ARGB, so the new device reads the ICC profile and knows how to display it correctly on a sRGB (via some internal conversion?) and that the issue of colour mismatch some online forums are talking are simply a result of not tagging an ARGB image with a profile so the untagged image will have the value directly interpreted in an sRGB space and thus colour shifts? or if I intended to put it on web or share to friends most of the time I should alwasy just export it in sRGB profile?

Running PS 2025 on Windows 10, video editing desktop. Have used Premiere for years, no color monitor problems, using Fireworks to generate vid thumbnails (exported frames from vids with text added). Now when I import to Photoshop, the photo is super dark and weird looking, the text and watermark look ok, but if I do nothing to the photo it exports looking exactly as it should, on the same monitor. Help?

Hi I can't get the path blur blue arrow to appear. I've quit it, uninstalled it, tried it on a variety of files and nada. I'm on a mac 10.12.4 and PS is 2017.1.0 The computer is less than a year old.Oddly enough the tools seem to blur the image somewhat, it's that I am blind in doing so. Also the cursor seems to stick on one that looks like a pin.Thanks for any help Chuck Dykeman

Hi, I'm a designer who works mostly for big car companies. The company I'm currently with wants to start using AI everywhere possible, including design. They're all super dumb and just say the word AI a lot without knowing anything about how it works, and for design, we're mostly looking at image generation. I know Adobe are starting to roll out Nano Banana inside photoshop, but if i use it this way, is my work still confidential? I can't risk a new car being sent off to google to either be seen or even be used as training data. I wouldn't use Nano Banana or MJ etc. using my work as I'm sure it's not safe, but I wondered within Photoshop if Adobe can guarantee a level of privicy and keep my work confidencial. Thanks. 

I recently noticed that the grey areas in the colour picker and on my images to show colours outside of the printable colour range have disappeared. When I click view-gamutwarning nothing happens to the image and I know there are colour adjustments that need doing. The greyed out area of the colour picker has gone so there's no way to pick safe colours from there anymore.I'm using Photoshop 26.11.0 release and haven't made any changes to the setup so I'm thinking this has happened due to an update but can't be sure.Can anybody help please because it's a really important part of getting my work from the desktop and into print.Thanks.

 I've been asking ChatGPT best way to edit 369 files. I explained I used to in photoshop, but that I've seen photoshop did away with the 3D tab. Chat GPT said Creative Cloud used let's you install older versions of photoshop, but only the last few, each year. It also said it thinks Asobe no longer goes back far enough to versions of OS that allow 3D editing.  Is that true? Does owning photoshop not let you go far back enough to versions that had 3D? Thanks.

I cant uninstall PS5 , all the information it shows is,   'Your uninstallation encountered errors' I have also tried to find  the Adobe Aplication manager to install it without success. Any help would be appreciated. Konrad

I tried everything I could.Run it as administrator.Reinstalled it several times.Cleared the TEMP folder.Updated the video card drivers.And it still won't start.I click Run, a blue circle appears next to my mouse, and then nothing happens. Nothing at all.The program appears in the Task Manager in the background, and all I can do is end the process.

If I create an adjustment layer, the cursor defaults to one of the adjustment sliders. This means that if I want to start adjusting the layer mask, I have to first hit enter / deselect the slider.I don't recall this being an issue in the past, it's become incredibly apparent in the last month or so and it's really disruptive. Has anyone else come across this? - MacOS- Photoshop 25.12.4

I am having an issue with my newly installed Photoshop. I just downloaded it to my Acer Nitro 5 and if i try to do full screen it shows a crashed screen and the minimized screen doesn't show the menu selections, or any of my tools. I verified and everthing looks ok with my laptop compatibilty and Windows Compatibility. THis is technically a gaming  laptop but everthing should be fine.... Reallly need this to work because it got to much to work on..... tried uninstalling and installing again and same thing is still happening.... Please!! Any help is welcome!! Hi I've been asked by a friend to engrave a photo onto slate, but it's a collage of photos (mostly just faces) on a white background. I need to get rid of the white to make the background transparent ready for engraving. I've searched for advice on how to do this and the answer I found (and tried was) Create a duplicate layerUse blend if (current layer) to get rid of the white. This works very well but in places there are bits on the faces that it loses too. I've tried using a black layer mask to get rid of these, but it doesn't work. See picture below for an example of what I mean.  When I apply the black layer mask, it starts with a fully transparent screen and I can paint on the faces that I want, but the bits on the faces are still transparent. Am I doing it the wrong way, or is this the right way but I'm doing it wrong? ThanksChris

Actualmente, cada vez que abro la lista de fuentes, esta se posiciona al inicio del orden alfabético, en lugar de mostrar la última fuente utilizada, como sí sucede en otros programas de Adobe (After Effects, Illustrator) e incluso en versiones anteriores de Photoshop.Este cambio hace que la selección de tipografías sea mucho más lenta y poco práctica, ya que obliga a recorrer manualmente la lista o a escribir el nombre de la fuente una y otra vez, lo que representa una pérdida de tiempo en el flujo de trabajo diario.Sería muy útil que Photoshop ofreciera la opción de configurar el comportamiento del selector de fuentes, de manera que los usuarios podamos elegir si preferimos que la lista:se abra mostrando la última fuente usada, o se organice siempre en orden alfabético.Creo que esta mejora beneficiaría mucho la productividad y la consistencia entre las aplicaciones de Adobe.Gracias por considerar esta su

Some days i open PS but see this instead: "You can't open the application "Adobe Photoshop 2025" because it may be damaged or incomplete." It is hard to get it reopened. I can't find any old invoice or serial numbers to help me. And I really don't what I will do when my payment needs to be updated!

My company does a lot of Kodak disc film scanning and we've found that dialing A.I. "Photo Restoration" in the neural filters to about 20% to 30% to reduce grain and make faces clearer. What happens though, after a couple of dozen of images, is that filter starts running extremely slow...going from about 10 seconds per image to a minute or two per image. I then have to close the images I have open and restart Photoshop. Once that's done, I get another couple of dozen images done before this issues starts again and I have to close and open Photoshop again.  Am I being throttled because of the number of images I'm processing?16 bit Tiff file sizes are around 15 mb with a pixel dimension of about 4000 x 3000 pixels created on a Phase One achromatic multispectral scanner. i7 8th generation processor 64gb DDR4 ram and an 8 gb GPU

He intalado photoshop en mi mac air chip m4 y desde que lo instale no he podido crear un documento con mis preferencias solo me deja usar los preestablecidos.

Hi, screen capture from a flight sim of a sky, and after use of levels to make the clouds a bit more bright, noticed the blue sky graduating down from darker blue to horizon had bands of blue then turquoise-blue then blue etc repeating and getting lighter, so reached for blur tool, did nothing at all, yet blurred the clouds, so added noise, all it did was blur the noise but not the banding. .do a test, drew alternate sprays of blue and purple, overlapping , tested it, did nothing. Just how does one blend those alternate bands together keeping the progression from darker blue to lighter blue ? Blur tool seems limited, it wont blue solid colours as per my test. try it for yourself. No tool we tried made a scrap of difference. Photoshop beaten by a sim sky with banding, eh what ? Merlin

Pen Pressure is not working on Photoshop or Fresco on iPad 10th gen, even with Apple Pencil (1st Gen) . Pen pressure is working on the Notes application on my iPad. How to make it work on photoshop ? 

Photoshop 26.  2025 The ability to rotate an image while cropping has stopped working.    The straighten tab is grayed out. I haven't used the straighten tab so I don't know whether the tab is grayed out  for some reason or setting.   But I definitley cannot rotate the image while cropping.   Any and all help is much appreciate.
