Photoshop

My genereative ai credits are disappearing without me using any ai. I opened a jpg in photoshop, went to the adjustments panel and manually used the sliders to adjust the levels. When I opened Photoshop I had 34/1000 credits left. When I saved out my jpg after adjusting the levels I had 33/1000 credits. I did not use any form of the generative ai.Additionally when I do use the generative ai to extend one photo it uses far more than one credit. This morning I started with 60/1000 credits. I opened the jpg I wanted to extend. I used my crop tool to extend all sides to where I wanted them and hit generate to fill in. I flattened my image, saved and closed, my credits went all the way down to 34/1000.

For well over a year I've had this issue and I thought at first it was a bug that would be corrected in the next update. A ridiculous amount of updates later (seriously, why so often?) and its still happening. I use keyboard shortcuts for tool selection, most commonly the clone stamp, the brush, and the spot healing or remove tool. when I hit the keyboard shortcut to change from remove tool to clone stamp (for example) it switches to the clone stamp tool for less than a second then back to the remove tool. Sometomes I have to hit the shortcut three or four times to get the selection to stick. Its so consistently bad that I've started hitting the shortcut four times by default to make sure. It's a huge time and attention drain. Anybody got any fixes?

Having an issue converting OCIO files from scene referred AcesCG to display referred ICC profiles in Photoshop 2025.  From reading the PS documentation I see that Edit > Duplicate to Image Profile command does this, as it offers all the available working ICC profiles as the target settings for the output. If I set the output space to sRGB then then conversion matches fine, but if I select any other RGB profile as the target (such as Adobe RGB, ProPhoto etc) then the colours get too saturated ?  Looks like the command preserves the sRGB values but just display them as Adobe RGB/ProPhoto colours,  i.e. the same result as Assign Profile from sRGB > Adobe RGB etc in an ICC workflow. and the resulting saturation/hue shifts. Any ideas why this is happening and If this is the correct behaviour and if so, why bother offering other output ICC output profiles and labelling it as a conversion if the gamut is always sRGB ?   

I updated Photoshop from 27.7 to 27.8 via the Creative Cloud desktop app.When I launched PS the home screen showed “recent” images which I had last worked on three months ago, and my settings were similarly backdated.I fixed my setup by rolling back to 27.7 and restored preferences from before the update (thanks to Time Machine) but it’s cost me an hour’s work.macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 (25F84), Apple M2 Max

Brushes suddenly stop working properly with blending modes. No matter what mode is selected its always paint flat color.

I would like to know how to download the files from my Adobe Creative Cloud's storage plan onto my computer so that I can free up space.  Your advice is greatly appreciated. 

I updated to PS v27.8 and it will not open, no matter how I try. I've restarted my desktop, tried opening directly, tried opening a file, tried opening through Creative Cloud, and I only get a Crash report to fill out. I did the upgrade a couple days ago (Sunday 6/21/2026), and haven’t been able to open Photoshop since. I REALLY need to be able to use it ASAP.

Mac版 v27.8にアップデートして以降、「レイヤーから書き出し」でpngを選択すると、保存先フォルダが存在しないという表示が出て進行されません。v27.7にダウングレードしてもなおりません。Mac はTahoe 26.5.1です。 

This is truly bizarre.  I created a action to crop a bunch of images.  The action only has 2 parts.1. Select Subject2. Image/CropI used Automate/Batch to run it on a folder with 48 small clothing images that I downloaded from a site that sells blank garments.  Here’s the crazy part.  As I watched the screen run the action, a garment would pop up, momentarily process, and the lights in my room flickered 3 or 4 times, on each garment!  LOL  There were 48 images, so I had plenty of time to make sure that I’m not imagining it.  48 times my ceiling light flickered, perfectly timed to each imaged just before it closed the image.  The image would open, process, lights flicker, then image closed.  So what does this mean?  Does this mean that Photoshop actually caused an energy surge to do each of these little images.  Each image sizes averaged 500KB.  I’ve been a Photoshop user for several decades and this is the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen.I’m using Photoshop 27.8OS Name    Microsoft Wi

I have this recurring problem with Photoshop, and possibly with the other CS applications too. Whenever I disconnect my 27-inch LG UltraFine 5K, Photoshop's window ends up being too large to show its grab-able title bar. I have not been able to figure how to solve this problem. It happens all the time, unless you purposely move Photoshop to the smaller MacBook monitor and resize it before quitting the application.No zooming or toolbar reset or anything else will reset the window to its proper window boundaries.Anyone have any ideas?

와콤 타블렛 필압 설정에서 약한 필압으로도 브러쉬가 그려지게 설정했는데, 브러쉬와 지우개 뿐만 아니라 돋보기에서 불편 사항이 발생합니다.↑위에 첨부한 사진처럼, 필압 프로파일 그래프에서 클릭 압력을 최소한으로 해뒀는데, 브러쉬와 지우개가 아주 만족스럽게 입력되었습니다. 그런데 그 설정 상태에서 돋보기 도구를 썼더니 펜에서 돋보기 도구가 이상해졌습니다. 펜을 타블렛 표면에서 필압을 줄이면 돋보기 확대 축소 상태가 해제되었으면 좋겠는데, 그래프 왼쪽에 있는 ▲ 클릭압력 점선을 가장 왼쪽으로 펜 필압을 0수치로 맞추면 돋보기를 쓸 때, 펜을 타블렛에서 아주 멀리 떼어 놓아야 돋보기 활성 상태가 해제 됩니다.  이렇게 될 경우 타블렛에서 펜을 멀리 떨어뜨려야 돋보기 활성 상태가 해제됨으로 빠른 작업 과정에서 큰 불편이 발생합니다. 브러쉬와 지우개 등은 아주 약하고 섬세한 필압이 인식 되었으면 좋겠는데, 돋보기는 그 필압이 동일한 수치로 적용되지 않았으면 좋겠어요. 돋보기 커서에서 캔버스가 떨어지지 않고 마음대로 확대 축소 되어서 굉장히 불편합니다. 고쳐주세요.  돋보기에 불편한 상태가 계속 발생해서 ↓ 아래 사진 처럼 필압 ▲ 클릭압력을 오른쪽으로 조금 미세하게 옮겨서 사용하고 있습니다. 그러나 필압 클릭 압력 시작 기준 수치를 맨 왼쪽으로 옮겨서 적은 필압으로 브러쉬와 지우개와 그림 도구들을 사용하고 싶습니다.돋보기도 브러쉬, 지우개와 함께 필압이 함께 예민해지는 현상을 수정해주세요. 돋보기는 필압이 좀 덜 예민하게 적용되게 해주세요. 

Hallo zusammen, ich habe seit kurzem ein Problem, welches vorher nicht aufgetreten ist. Ich arbeite, wie sicherlich viele, viel mit Tastaturkürzeln und habe mir gewisse Tastenkombinationen auch auf die Shortcuts meiner Tastatur gelegt.Bessere ich eine Stelle in meinem Bild aus und generiere einen angepassten Inhalt, erstellt sich eine neue Ebene. Auf diese Ebene wende ich den letzten verwendeten Filter an, in meinem Fall “Rauschen hinzufügen”. In der Regel über den Shortcut “ALT + STRG + F”. Das funktioniert auch im ersten Schritt. Möchte ich jedoch den Filter ein zweites Mal anwenden, passiert nichts. Weder über den Shortcut meiner Tastatur, noch über das direkte Tastenkürzel. Die Ebene ist aber ausgewählt.Erst wenn ich einen weiteren generativen Vorschlag auswähle oder erneut auf die Ebene klicke, kann ich es über Tastenkürzel/Shortcut anwählen. Dear all,after discovering the brilliant new Neural Filter feature (specifically the coloring tool), it did not continue to load after opening a new picture. It ended up constantly loading the Neural Filter window. I tried the following:- Down and upgrading my Photoshop version- Disconnecting the web- Tried using other pictures- Closed all Adobe related TasksBut nothing of the sort worked. Hi I’m trying to do a simple animation. The goal is to use a black background and then have white glowing lines on top, however the problem is I can’t get the white to be actually white. I’m using the RGB colour scheme and it’s not in grey scale mode (as I’ve tried multiple colours, they’re all dull). I can’t figure out which opacity is causing the issue - all are set to 100% (brushes/layers). The colours are fully opaque when the background layer is deleted but as soon as it’s added the colours start blending with the black. I’ve set the blending mode to both Normal and Linear Dodge (makes it slightly lighter grey) and I’m now all out of ideas. I need the black background for this animation. Can anyone else offer any suggestions? Or any idea why the black background is blending with my video layer? I’ve attached a screenshot. 

I’m trying to use the Generative Fill tool in Photoshop, but I keep getting the error message: “This feature is currently not available.” I selected the transparent area under my photo and clicked on Generative Fill, but it won’t work. Could someone help me understand why this is happening and how I can fix it?

This is very common in VFX workflows. Lens correction only can undistort, but after I’ve done my work and created elements that fit the undistorted plate, I need a  way to redistort said elements to match the original, distorted plate.  The Custom tab in lens correction undistorts, but it’s manual and I need a way to match the perfectly match the original distortion, which is not possible with the manual method. Nuke does this, but it only works on video, plus getting Nuke just for lens distortion is kinda crazy lol

In Photoshop26 v27.8 on MacBookPro M4 OS 15.7.7 the brush tool suddenly started showing a patch of grey squares all around the area the brush is being used. Also happens with clone and healing brushes. I have made sure everyhitg is up to date. I’m using a Wacom tablet, driver is up to date. I’ve restarted everything mutlipe times. Problem is intermittent. Happened yesterday for the first time. This morning it seemed to have resolved, but is back and now happens with clone and healing brushes as well. Making PS almost unusable. I’ve seen a few random solutions including “Preferences > Technology Previews>Deactive Native Canvas” but I don’t see that option. Anyway it’s really slowing me down. Thanks for any help. 

I type one word, photoshop spreads same word  everywhere in the document. it is wasting my effort

I'm looking for someone with advanced Adobe Photoshop experience who may be able to help recover or diagnose a very important PSB file.The file is stored on an external hard drive and opened without any issues yesterday. Today, however, it refuses to open and Photoshop displays the following error:"Could not open '[filename].psb' because of a program error."There have been no Photoshop updates or macOS updates since the file was last opened successfully. As far as I'm aware, nothing changed between yesterday and today.The file is extremely important, and I'm hoping to determine whether the issue is with the PSB file itself, Photoshop, or the external drive. Ideally, I'd like to recover the document with all layers and edits intact.If you have experience diagnosing or recovering Photoshop PSB files, or have successfully resolved this specific "program error" before, I would be very grateful for your assistance.

You draw a rough line or shape and hold your stylus then stroke snaps into a perfect straight line, circle, rectangle or other shape.You can then tap an option to edit the points and adjust the shape without switching to the Pen tool. This makes it easy to draw precise shapes quickly.In Photoshop the closest option is shift‑click for straight lines or using shape tools and path editing, which in my opinion is much more less intuitive.Solution:It would be great to have a QuickShape drawing mode in Photoshop so you can hold a drawn stroke to snap it into a clean shape and/or optionally edit its
