Hi, Since the last update, I can not open photo's in Photoshop via Lightroom anymore. Photoshop does open after the command, but it doesn't show the photo. It just stays in home screen.
In Photoshop 2024, I'm experiencing an issue with the "Save As" location in Actions. When I double-click the save step in the Action to change the folder to the current location, it still defaults to the previous folder I used earlier. I’m unable to update or change the save location by double-clicking the step. Please take a look at the attached video and help me resolve this issue: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZrFse_HUDyViQmOezMKIpq1wfgq5ZWhc/view?usp=sharing
Quando abro ou crio qualquer imagem, ou texto na prancheta ele fica com esse bug visual, começa aparecer esses quadrados brancos
No messages; it just stops loading.. Happened after my latest Windows 11 update.. Tried Control-Alt-Shift, no luck.. Installed latest Nvidia driver.. I have a heavy-duty gaming computer to process images.. Won't open from Bridge, standalone or Creative Cloud. . No Beta versions installed. . Also repaired then reinstalled creative cloud.. Tried removing plugins from folder, no luck. . I'm a special effects addict, so have many actions and some plugins installed. . Also have PS 2023 installed, which opens. Could this be a conflict? Thanks.
Hi.. I took a screenshot of a portion of a spreadsheet (without the grid lines)... black text (antialiased) with white background. I thought I could somehow duplicate this image layer and invert the duplicate (white text on black background) and use that as a transparency mask so a background texture layer could be seen through in the white areas.. ... but I could t figure out how to create the mask/transparencey... I ended up using some other technique.. but want to understand if/how my original idea may be done. Thx in advance...
Found here - https://www.reddit.com/r/photoshop/comments/1am8pdc/comment/n78cbag/?context=3 Just change the setting from the title/screenshot to "None". For me this makes Photoshop run "like in the olden days" and boot much faster too.No more freezing, lagging, waiting forever for the "Export" dialog to open etc. This is after trying out almost everything else - using or not using OpenCL, adding memory to PC, almost buying a whole new PC etc. I can only guess Photoshop hates having a lot of fonts active on a Windows machine.

I liked it the way it was, and I litterally HATE what did to it. Who decided it would be a good idea to put them in a bunch of folders? This is what it looks like now... How can I undo what was done, and get the color swatches back like they were?

The picture is a simple portrait. Right side up with the full face of the model visible. Liquify has detected more confusing faces than this, so any ideas on how I can get it to recognize this one?
Folks, any ideas?I am looking to merge elegantly the sea/lava picutre with the sunset and I am failing at providing a photo realistic result.I tried creating masks using alpha channels (the one attached looking not too bad, created by first using camera raw to accentuate constrast), played with gradients on layer masks etc, pinged ChatGPT extensively.Still, it is not yet convincing.Thoughts on how to proceed? Do I miss something?best,Dan
J'ai tout essayé, je suis même sur le créative cloud mais rien à faire je ne peux ouvrir mon photoshop. Je penseais que c'était parceque j'étais à l'étranger mais non.
I am trying use Web Photoshop, i import high resolution (4300x4300px) photo for template in 1084x610px, but in export is in low detail, why? Online problem only? Thank you for your advice.
Not all images I save out from PS as an EPS will import into InDesign as grey, but there are times that it does. Not sure what the issue is? So I have artwork with text in PS 2025, save it out as EPS to retain the vector informationand then import the image into InDesign 2025. The image doesn't appear. What shows upis a grey image. Anyone?
The option to use a foreground to transparent gradient in the 'Basics' folder of the gradient tool has disapeared. This is affecting both normal gradients as well as layer masks, making it so I can't make a layer fade out. It was fine until yesterday. The Basics folder in the image below previousy had 3 options, the third being transparent which is now gone. Re-installed the latest version but still missing. Using Windows 11.
Hi, please could someone direct me a guide on how to apply the above. i have a headland , so surrounded by water which makes sky replacement not effective. So, I'm looking to select the headland in the initial image (first) layer then apply it to subsequent Milky Way images, from which I'll convert to jpg and make a Timelapse. I've seen many like this so know it's possible and should be easy, but as much as I've tried searching, I'm coming up with everything except what I'm trying to do. thanks I have Photoshop, lightroom, lightroom classic and LRTimelapse (if the latter helps )
So, today I loaded up Photoshop to do some art. However, something is wrong. The mouse pointer and tools/menu keep flashing when I go to any menu or try to do things in them. As if something is loading or communicating. It doesn't do it if it is just setting there with nothing open, or if I go to another window/tab on my PC, if I don't have any psd or file loaded. Starting up PS is normal and everything is fine, but once I open a image or PSD it starts. And if I have something open and I come back from another tab once I click on the menus it starts again, even running the mouse over the menus, you can see the mouse pointer start flashing only when highlighting menus, etc.. Think of it as if a key on my keyboard was being held down, or something is loading and the pointer/menu's keeps flashing, that is how it is. Anything I click in menu's etc it flashes there too. But, there is nothing happening on my mouse or keyboard. No keys being clicked on my keyboard, or my m
I have this weird issue whenever I move an object inside the box area at vanishing point. Whenever I'm moving the object, the object will leave messy marks/dots/lines like the picture below. What's with the issue I'm facing below? It's really frustrating the the messy marks remains there when I apply the vanishing point. Thank you.
Vanishing Point tool is completely unusable even after clearing my settings. I'm able to paste images fine and drag them into the blue grid, but the behavior is unpredictable and broken. 1. The biggest problem is that, after pasting content and moving it in the grid, the content does not align with its bounding box and moving it around is unpredictable.2. After opening the vanishing point tool, the photo is not centered which wouldn't be an issue except the Hand tool does not work, so I'm not able to move the photo aroundIn the screenshot, I'm using PS 2024, but the issue persists in '23 and Beta.
Is it possible to remove the colors when editing in RAW? There are so many colors that it is impossible to see the image...
This happens in both the "Quick Export as PNG" as well as the "Export As..." options. Every now and then, a layer which is definitely hidden is still showing up in the exported image. This is happening right now; the image in my document looks like this:Which is what I want. However, when I make absolutely no changes and export this file, I end up with:This red tint comes from a translucent fill layer, which is DEFINITELY hidden. This version of the image is also what appears in the preview window when I select "Export As..." from File, which makes absolutely no sense. Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a solution?
Hi everyone,I'm trying to create a Photoshop script that performs two main tasks, regardless of the initial color mode of the open image (e.g., RGB, CMYK, Grayscale).1. Convert the image to Indexed Color. The specific settings I need are:- Palette: Perceptual (Local Adaptive)- Colors: 1282. Save the resulting color table (also known as the color palette) to a specific destination folder.I've been looking through the Photoshop scripting API but am having trouble finding the exact commands or syntax to achieve this, especially for the "Local Adaptive" option and saving the color table.Could someone please provide a code snippet or point me in the right direction? I'm primarily working with JavaScript (JSX) for this.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
