Photoshop

I bought a Lenovo tab P12 in order to better work in PS. However, the stylus refuses to work in the canvas itself. It does work perfectly to select whatever you want from the rest of the tools and menus in Photoshop, but all the point of the stylus and of this purchase I made is to use a stylus for fine delicate selections and drawing in the canvas... Someone has any idea of how to solve this issue? The tablet is connected and sincronized as a second screen for my laptop (windows 11). I have Photoshop version 26.9...

Is there a way to batch export these layer groups as pngs?I've tried 'Export As' but it trims the images into just what is visible in the group. I want to retain the size of the artboard (1080x1920) and keep the placement of my text where it is.My workaround is creating layer comps and then exporting those as PNGs but it can be tedious to create a multitude of layer comps sometimes.Any suggestions or has someone written a script?   

Photoshop 2025 crashes when opening... all that I can catch is the loading box and it says "Inner Loops plug-in loaded" just about all day today I've been trying to find this plug-in to no luck of such, what its says is right before PS crashes never ssen anything like this, can someone help with this issue thank you

How to SIMPLY change default "save as" in the drop down "save as" menu to the last file type saved?I'm asking this question seeking a simple solution, not a complicated "export file to this or that" or other such time-consuming processes... The problem is as follows: In PS "Save As" will always default to the last saved option file type EXCEPT "JPG." Why?   For example, if you saved something once as say, a "PSD" file, the next time you do "Save As" it gives you "PSD" as the default option to save in the drop down "Save As" menu; it will continue to offer you "PSD" as your first choice the next time you "Save As" unless you then save a file as, say, a "PNG" for example.  Then the next time you "Save As" the default option will be "PNG." (not PSD.) And so on and so for for any kind of file type EXCEPT JPG.  It NEVER brings up "JPG" as a default option, even if the last time you saved it as a "JPG." You could save 100 files in a row as "JPG" but PS will

I have Creative Cloud Pro, all apps, Windows 11, latest versions/updates all apps.  Every few days over the last 3 - 4 weeks when I click on Creative Cloud, under Photoshop the button has 'Install'.  For the past year I've been using the beta version most of the time. I have my account set to auto-update all apps, but I do go to the Creative Cloud home page each day to open apps just to make sure there aren't any updates lingering that auto-update missed.  When I see the 'install' button under Photoshop I click it, it quickly installs without any problem. I open it and use it for a while, and it's stable with no error messages. Any ideas why this happens?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Since last PS update, it takes literally 3 minutes to open a jpeg or png file from inside InDesign or an attachment in Outlook. Any help with this?  My system is completely updated

Is there a way to determine if an action is currently being recorded? The most obvious way is to try playing a known action or run menu items that are usually locked during recording (for example, duplicate a command, delete a command, etc.). If an error occurs, then recording is in progress. However, in this case, a system dialogue appears that cannot be suppressed by try... catch or DialogModes.NO 😞    

How to turn off the animated tips that popup everytime you select a tool? Seems to be an old "feature" and rather often unwanted for many years now in various apps. This regards Photoshop 22.3.00, and they still won´t go away as some have said. 

Previously when using photoshop I could click anywhere using the text tool and it would freely type from wherever I had clicked.  Now it just automatically draws a giant bounding box for the text.  How do I disable this?

Hello, this is a little hard to explain so I will do my best. I am running PS CC 2018 on Windows 7.When I select a layer mode (e.g. multiply, overlay), the layer mode box stays selected, so when I use certain buttons they won't work. I need to press Enter to 'confirm' and de-select the layer mode box. It's a small issue but it really affects my work flow, is there any way to stop this from happening?

Photoshop v26.9.0 on Mac OS Sequoia 15.6 Under regular conditions, when the brush tool (B) is active, pressing 1 on the keyboard sets the brush opacity to 10%, and pressing shift-1 sets the brush flow to 10%.Once you click the "Enable airbrush-style build-up effects" button, these keyboard shortcuts switch so shift-1 affects the opacity and 1 affects the flow. Brush Tool Settings Troubleshooting I was experiencing this issue previously so uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop without any of my previous settings, and it was only when configuring my brush settings again that I discovered this as the cause of the issue. Incredibly frustrating, please fix!

Seit ein paar Updates kann ich kaum noch mit mehreren Zeichenflächen in Photoshop arbeiten.Probleme gibt es beim kopieren und vor allem beim Verschieben von Zeichenenflächen.Der Vorgang friert ein oder wird nicht komplett ausgeführt. Was da los? Früher ging das alles ohne Probleme.Hat jemand dasselbe Problem und oder eine Lösung?

Hi everyone,Maybe someone already had this problem, when you have a selection and you need to create an adjustments layer applying on whole images (without any mask) and keep current selection.The thing is when I have a selection and create adjustment layer, selection automatically converts to a mask for this new adjustment layer. How can I make it not use selection as a mask?Thanks in advance

In the new photoshop (version 26.9.0), I am no longer able to record an action with making a new document using preset "Clipboard". Photoshop now records the exact dimensions instead of the clipboard preset. Now: Used to be: Anyway to make it records "Preset: Clipboard" again? 

This has been an ongoing problem for weeks and it's really butchering my workflow. Whenever I try to save a .gif to any location on my mac, I get a "Save for Web Error" pop up and not sure why. Recently I updated all of my Adobe programs + restarted my computer and I guess it's still bugging. I have the same legacy settings for gif-ing on my personal mac and have no problems exporting but for the current mac I'm using it's being weird Really need a solve for this

I honestly can’t believe this.In Photoshop 2025, the ability to right-click and batch clear layer styles is GONE. What are you thinking, Adobe? This has been a standard feature for YEARS and is essential for fast, efficient workflow — especially for UI/UX, web, and graphic designers who deal with dozens or hundreds of layers at once.Now, the option is just greyed out when multiple layers are selected. Why would you remove something so basic and useful? Do your developers actually use Photoshop, or is this just an abstract experiment in making things harder for professionals?I don’t want a workaround. I don’t want to write a script. Hi guys,I work with manuals, and I use Photoshop for editing. I edit a lot of pages, and sometimes a revision comes along. So adding an extra page makes it unbearable to edit sometimes +100 titles within each page.I've Googled and searched here a bit, but haven't found any results that does what I'm asking for.Would any of you maybe have some solution to this? I've worked with Photoshop for many years, but never had to use batch features or scripts until now.Many thanks in advance.
