Photoshop

Recently, I encountered a problem while working in Photoshop. When I copied text from WhatsApp and pasted it into Photoshop using point text, I was unable to control the line spacing. I then tried using paragraph  text, but the alignment still appeared off.I attempted to resolve the issue by copying the same text into Illustrator same problem. I even pasted the text into various notepads and text editors to clean it up, but that didn’t help either. Has anyone else faced this issue? If you know the cause or have any working solutions, please share.

I have used Photoshop for years and am now using Photoshop 2025. I am attempting to merge two jpg files together and make the jpg longer by adding the second jpg to the first one at the bottom. After lining up both the original and the second jpg where there is a duplication of material, i noticed that there is a  stroke line that appears in the second jpg at the top, that I can not eliminate when they merge. How can I do it ?

When I click on the green dot in the image window in Photoshop, the image was previously scaled to the window size. For a few days now, clicking on it has shown me the image in full screen mode. What do I have to change so that it returns to the way it was, i.e. when I click on the green dot, the image is set to window size and not full screen?Activate native full screen in the preferences is not activated. (Pshop 26.4.1, Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1) My question is about placing an image directly into a shape. I have my main Pshop document open, and a stock photo file opened next to my main document. Now, I typically drag the stock photo into my main document, place the photo directly over the shape, then go to the Layers palette, then OPT-Click on the line between the shape and the stock photo above, which then places the photo into the shape. However, sometimes, when I drag the photo to the shape in my main doc, the photo goes directly into the shape. But more often than not, the pick will NOT go into the shape via "drag-and-drop", and I must use the technique mentioned in my second paragraph (Opt-Click line between the layers). How can I get Photoshop to allow me to directly drag-and-drop a photo into my shape every time? Thank you-

Hi. Photoshop closes automatically after freezing for a few minutes. It's very annoying to have to save your work every 2 minutes in case it happens again. I thought that with today's update it would be solved, but no. I got confused and I have not saved the work and I have lost half an hour of work. Attached system information.

HI everyone, I'm still novice to photoshop- but I have made a collage for my portfolio and the person I made it for will be using it for their website (yay!)- they have just asked me if it is possible to resize for mobile.. and i am wondering the best way to go about it... the way I learned (starting a file with the new dimentions and then dragging the layers over from the original file , doesnt seem to be the best solution, as there are so many layers and to scale it I have to strech certain things out and it pixelates (even though i am moving from a very large file to a smaller file)- any suggestions? for context my original file is 4800 x 3600 @300 dpi- and the web deisgner has asked for as close to 1080 x 1920 px as possible

Hello!I'm trying to write a photoshop script that can change the size of strokes on all shape layers. When we increase the image size, none of the stroke widths scale with that change. This is what we are trying to fix. Is there a way to increase image size and have stroke width also scale? It seems super simple and I can do it in Adobe Animate really easily, but not photoshop.  So far I can get the stroke size of an active layer but not change it... I am in the process of upgrading my current AM4 setup to AM5. New cpu, memory, videocard, everything. It's going to run Windows. I want to be sure these upgrades benefit Photoshop as much as possible.  I often work with very large resolution files. Think photos from an 61MP camera, often multiples of these stitched, and then also with several smart layers of edits. PSB files up to 4-5 GB sometimes. And I want to build a somewhat future-proof system, so the file sizes might even increase. Does Photoshop benefit from simply a huge amount of system RAM? Like, would 256GB ram be better than 128GB, for example? I currently have 64GB in my system and it seems like sometimes it's a limiting factor. Photoshop gets really slow, starts buffering (I suspect) etc. I want to mention I use intensive plugins like NIK and Topaz, so this could also be a CPU limitation perhaps. Basically, what I want to know if it is useful to consider future RAM expansions while thinking about

PS hangs for several minutes just moving the Actions panel scrollbar, no imagefile open. Changed file .atn with a saved one previously working (565 KB: maybe too much?). Uninstalled for that reason the last PS version, reinstalled vers. 25.7.0.Scratch diskspace available, disks check OK...I've seen a similar bug reported with a 24.x version, then fixed, dealing with Save in an ActionThank you for helping.

Hello,   Granted, I'm an infrequent user of Photoshop, but it's so unintuitive.   So I used to be able to feather edges, but it's not working now. I've tried multiple ways and searched for a solution online but with no success.   What on Earth am I doing wrong? Is there something obvious I'm missing?   Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Many thanks.

I was trying out the Photoshop app on my iPhone 14 (iOS 18.5) and experienced this glitch when I added text to my photo. I received an email and was asked to submit proof of evidence. I do not have an Adobe account as I wish to try out the free available functions first, and this happened. 

Hellooo,For past month and a half I believe PS got alzheimer, it keeps forgetting the Open Recent like every 2-3 days, but sometimes it happens 2+ times a day.Absolutely nothing changed hardware wise. It does remember the custom keyboard shortcuts for some reason, but to remember the files? Impossible. Like what can be causing it?d:

I'm using the latest Photoshop update (automatic update) on Windows 11.  Recently, I've encountered a situation where each time I close and then reopen Photoshop, I have to do a Window>Workspace>Reset Essentials maneuver.   Because I use the basic workspace configuration, it's just a minor annoyance.  Still, it would be nice to not have to do that.  Does anyone know why this happens or how to prevent it?

Existe um bug que eu enfrento já há anos, e não sei se há alguma forma de corrigir. Basicamente, quando eu seleciono uma ferramenta qualquer e depois vou selecionar uma nova, o Photoshop fica voltando para a ferramenta anterior. Por exemplo: Uso a ferramenta Remover, e após isso, preciso usar o Zoom pra ajustar a foto. Quando vou arrastar o Zoom, o Photoshop retorna para a ferramenta Remover e faz um traçado de remoção e não o zoom. Isso realmente é irritante e não sei se é um bug conhecido. Gostaria de saber se tem algo que pode corrigir.

I get similar digital hash every time in WIndows but I have seen some passable results in X86 macOS with AMD graphics.The Windows machine has newer and more powerful GPU/CPU than the Apple machine so not sure why the total failures.Hopefully this will get to the level of Generative AI, even in Windows.

I copy image as a LF layer and blur it .  then convert the doc to 32 bit    ( if I have any alpha I apply gamma 0.45454 to any alpha channel )      Then I set subtract blending mode to LF layer  and  get looking almost black  HF image  with most pixels negative .    With add blending mode on top of  same blurred original they do  perfectly frequency separated pair.  But how could I brinng it back to 16 bit integer  mode ?     I need to lift that mostly negative  HiFreq  layer to be around 0,5 right?   So I add 0,5 flat color layer  with add blending  but when I convert the doc back to 16 bit mode the gamma changes  and what was 0,5  is brighter now .  I do gamma 0,454545  to fix it.    Now  I believe   this HiFreq layer should work  on top of blurred original  being blended as LInear Light, right? 

So ages ago, i bought the Creative Suite 5 Master Collection and today my serial number doesnt work because its been used on 2 computers.. [cursing removed] I bought this product to use for myself whenver i want how long i want, and now it refuses me to use it unless i buy a sub? What world do we live in? How can i bypass this? So I know this has been asked before but I have tried all the fixes and none of them has worked. I have tried .csv and .txt tab dilimeated. I have tried removing extra lines or columns. I have 14 columns in my excel file, is this too many? Is there a limit to how many fields you can have? Please help!  

To provide some context, I've been attempting to recreate an action using the new A.I. masking feature inside Camera Raw (ACR). I've reached a point where everything works, except for one issue: the masks don't update based on the specific photo being edited. This is similar to Lightroom, where you can apply a preset across multiple photos and the A.I. adjusts the mask according to each photo. When I apply the action to a new photo (not the one I used to create the action), it works flawlessly, except that the ACR masks still use the A.I. mask from the original image I used to create the action.

Hello to this group.  I think I have backed myself into a corner with the 'help' of the Customer Support line.  The tech support were very nice people but referred me here as they are 'not trained to help' on no longer supported software.  My partner is 76, disabled, and spends his day taking pictures and editting them in Photoshop CS5 (and really enjoys the content aware feature).  He is cognitively impaired, not able to learn new software, and barely hanging on to his knowledge of CS5.  Our XP hard drive crashed recently, was not recoverable, and had a copy of CS5 that was not used.  He used the version on Windows 10 machine.  So bought a Windows 11 machine, had Windows 10 hard drive copied to Windows 11, installed from CS5 .exe and thought all was great.  Then got the activation error messages.  So called Customer Care, who explained CS5 no longer supported, could not help, told to go to Adobe Community, suggested problem was the XP copy
