Photoshop

When adding an adjustment layer, there will be a lag or delay and it could take up to 30 seconds or a minute to add the adjustment. I can continue to work while photoshop, I assume, is working on adding the adjustment layer. Sometimes it is instantateous, as it should be, but I would say the lag happens 50% of the time. On occasion, a 'working' bar comes up with some verbiage indicating that it is working on rendering the adjustment layer (I don't have the exact wording).  This occurs with both 16 bit and 8 bit images. If i save and close the image and open it back up, sometimes that snaps it out of the lag for a bit but it does come back. Has this happened to anyone else and if so has anyone found a fix?  Thanks!

When I strat up PS, the whole workspace is just misaligned, nothing is displayed in the workspace and I cant do anything except clicking the top menu (just like the screeenshot image). If I try to open a file or reset the workspace PS will freeze, then crash. I didn't install any plugin or brushes, I tried reinstall but the problem still exist, this problem appered lately while I didn't change any setting or update my PS version, so I believe there's something wrong with my computer but not the PS itself.

I am running ACR 17.0, Bridge 14.1.3, Photoshop 25.12 on an iMac 2020 Intel i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 gig gpu, 96 gigs of Ram on Sonoma 14.7.1. Updating the IOS is not an option as Sequoia does not play well with the Intel chips, I tried that and had to roll back to Sonoma. When I try to use ACR AI Denoise it leaves these blocks pictured below, I have tried both with the GPU turned on and off, it is actually worse with GPU off.

I recently installed Photoshop Editor 2024. When I double-click on an image or do an “Open with Photoshop Editor 2024,” it takes me to Photoshop Editor but the photo doesn't open. I can only get the photo to open if I open it from Photoshop Editor through File => Open.

Hey there!I'm currently desperate as Photoshop is not opening one of my work files anymore. I've tried everything: I've restarted my Mac, updated Photoshop, ticked off the "Use Graphics Procesor" option under performance settings. Nothing has worked. It's definitely not my hard drive either, as I had a copy of the file saved locally on my Mac, and I'm experiencing the same issue. Can anyone help please?

I need a plus sign in front of the text but when I add space between + and rest of the text it makes it into a bullet. There is no option to just turn it into normal text. When I disable Bullets and Numbering it deletes the + sign. Is there any workaround on this issue? I am on MacBook Pro M1, macOS Sequoia v 15.0.1, Photoshop 2025 26.0.0

With the newest PS update (26.0), the remove tool is leaving behind a colored smudge, either red or blue tinged.  I tried going to PS settings-->image processing and checking the "more stable" drop down under remove tool, restarting PS X3, and restarting my computer.  None of these tips have helped.  I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1.  I saw previous posts from last year, but that appeared to have been fixed and I have not seen any posts since the newest update.  Is this a known bug?  Any way to fix this?  I use the remove tool quite a bit, so itll change my workflow if I have to abandon it temporarily.  Thanks for any help!  

Photoshop 26, Mac Studio M2 Ultra. When inserting an image on a blank canvas (1300px), already doring placing only a small part of the image is shown. Problem persists at all zoom levels. After placing the image, different blocks/parts of the image appear and disappear randomly. Problem disappears when disabling GPU compositing, but only if I place the image new. If I keep the image which has been placed WITH GPU compositing and turn GPU compositing off, still only articafts are visible.

On windows 10, using the PS 25.11.0 release, we have had a couple of instances now where when running a droplet, the file gets deleted and disappears. Has anyone else seen this? It's happening on Win 10 with PS. The droplet flatens the file, saves it, then saves a copy of it at a lower resoltion as a jpg or png.    Any clues or others having seen this would be helpful.        [Actions and Scripting topic added by moderator]

Hello,I have an issue with my PS overnight. When I want to launch it, it takes a long time to open. The same applies when I want to open a .psd file or simply an image. Any ideas ? I tried to delete and reinstall multiple times, on 2 different SSD from my PC. I have an RTX 4090 and 64GB RAM so I shouldn't have any problem...

Since updating to the newest version of Photoshop, the progress bar for the remove tool appears after each stroke, which is very annoying, unnecessary, and extremely distracting!  There is no way to stop or interact with this dialog box.

I have a 3070RTX, i9 first generation, plenty of RAM allocated. Also not a storage issue. Windows 11 64-bit 23H2. 2-3 days ago the app had 0 issues. I went back and installed all the 25. versions up to the last version of 24. and all are suddenly incredibly laggy. The last version to have 3D tools however (22. something) works fine. What's causing this? It was literally working fine a couple of days ago. Can't find anything on this, other than people claiming they've been having this problem for a lot longer than I do. Could it be that the latest Windows update borked it?

This is in relation to this previously made post, which I believe is now closed, because I was suggested a working solution, but that stopped working. Also that solution was messing up multiple things with my monitors and other OS level things and wouldn't have been feasible long term, namely disabling my integrated graphics card. Again, I'm making this post, because I don't think anyone is notified about it anymore and my problem hasn't been solved. Please have a read through that post. I will post my Photoshop System information in the comments.

Expected behavior: Opening a DNG smart object layer in ACR should not reset/turn off AI Denoise (tech preview) in Photoshop once initially applied. Actual behavior: AI Denoise is applied initially as expected. However, re-opening the Photoshop smart object layer in ACR deactivates/resets AI Denoise. Reproduce:1) Open DNG as Smart Object in Photoshop.2) Double-click on layer to open ACR.3) Enable AI Denoise. i recently had my ipad fixed, so i am logged out on almost every app right now. i just wanted to log back into my adobe photoshop, but it keeps redirecting me to a tab that says i have to choose a subscription, but i already have one from my school. if i log into adobe creative cloud on my macbook, i can use any app from adobe and it also says i already have a subscription. i have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my ipad, but this doesn't help 

Ipad photoshop Version 5.5.2IOS 18.1 I have a creative cloud license that includes ipad photoshop. But when I log in on my ipad it brings me to a page to subcribe or start a trial. All the other ipad apps work. I can use photoshop on the desktop. To reproduce I just need to log out and back in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have killed all sessions on the website. I'm experiencing random freezes in Photoshop. This happens a couple times an hour with no apparant connection between incidents other than it only happens with Adobe software like Photoshop, Bridge. The freezes result in a beachball (Mac cursor when an application has stopped responding) and the beachball freeze lasts for about 90-300 seconds (1.5 to 5 minutes). Then it's okay for 20-30 minutes. The software often freezes during tasks that don't seem like they'd take a lot of resources. For example, I hit File, Open recent, and it freezes for a couple minutes before the list comes up. Or I hit window>patterns, then click on one of the patterns, and it freezes. The freezes usually occur using the user interface, not while using any of the tools. Freezes also occur in Bridge, something as simple as pulling up the settings, and the settings appear, but then it freezes for 2-3 minutes. I am using: Mac Studio, Apple M2 Max, 64 GB, 2TB SSD drive. Das neue "Entfernen Werkzeug" füllt bei mir den ganzen Hintergrund, auch wenn ich nur einen kleinen Pickel mit dem Pinsel maskiere. Also nicht nur den zu korrigierenden Bereich, sondern das ganze Bild. If you have a smart object and that smart object has a smart filter with a mask on the filter they can be moved together but they won't transform together. This is really annoying.
