Trying to change text to shape as i always uses to. on every font, on the text layer when i click on text/change to shape, i get an error of"could not transform because the type layer uses a faux bold style"

 Need Help Recovering a Corrupted PSD FileHi everyone,I'm in urgent need of help recovering a PSD file that seems heavily corrupted.- File name: IMG_8995.psd- Size: ~126 MB- Issue: File won’t open in Photoshop. Hex editor shows no "8BPS" signature. Hello!My problem is that since a few months ago after an update to Photoshop (i waited maybe it gets fixed but its not) i encountered a problem that makes my workflow harder.When i lock a layer and i want to recolor something, it no longer uses the primary color. On the example below you can see my primary color is white and secondary is yellow. I lock the layer and start painting and it uses the yellow instead of the white!It is a very huge pain if i lock a layer and start painting realistically in it, and i constantly color pick) And the fun part? Its random! Sometimes its working normally using the primary color as it should! Its completely unpredictable, but most times it uses the wrong color. Also! The same goes for masking. Instead of using the black selected it uses the white and vice versa! Sometimes it doesnt even change when i change from black to white it masks the same way. Sometimes it doesnt matter if i set it to black or white it continues to remove from the mask.An

I have a CC subscription, today I wanted some new brushes, clicked on the "get more brushes" link in Photoshop, that landed me to a page where I was required to sign in. I signed in, but then the page kept refreshing asking me to sign in even though I'm already signed in and my payments are on time.Can't seem to get past this page. How do I get to the brushes? 

I'm trying to open a PSD and get this message in Photoshop: Could not complete your request because the file was not found.The person who is sending it to me is using mac and latest version of PS, same as me. He have sent it to others and it works. Any idea?

Hello everyone, I’d like to ask if anyone knows whether Photoshop has a feature similar to Azimuth in Procreate. I create brushes that simulate calligraphy pens, and pen rotation is a very important factor — both the rotation of the stylus and of the brush — to achieve the most natural result possible. As far as I’ve researched, brush rotation in Photoshop seems only possible if you’re using a Wacom tablet that’s compatible with the Wacom Art Pen. I had to buy both a Wacom Intuos and then the separate Art Pen for it to work properly. I keep encounter an error now as soon as I open PS, I tried resetting the prefences and I did the Creative Cloud clean up tool for everything but the problem still presists. Any solutions?

Is anyone else having issues with contextual taskbar in photoshop? it effects the way my files open, i have to close it everytime i want to edit a smart object. I'm running it on windows 11 Thanks for any info.

    I bought photoshop package of adobe. But after reinstalling windows all is gone. And i cant find the installation in my account. Can anyone help me. Is it gone? If so i have lost all my money. Please help me.  

I'm just trying to move my workspaces from one computer to another. As it has always* been with Adobe, they've made it as difficult as possible. The help page:https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html?x-product=Helpx%2F1.0.0&x-product-location=Search%3AForums%3Alink%2F3.4.0says: "SOURCE COMPUTER: On the computer that has the presets you want to migrate, do the following:Open Photoshop.Choose Edit > Presets > Export/Import Presets."But of course, that menu item doesn't exist in 25.13.0 (beta) on the Mac or 25.12.0. So I assume I'm back to chasing around in user libraries?Why can't Adobe make this a feature? Or have they hidden some new cloud solution somewhere and I (and the help files) just don't know about it Thanks for reading my ranting. And sorry for the exasperation.  *Since version 3.0. Swear to god.  They had "Preset Syncing" for two minutes but that's discontinued. 

PSD and PSB files are not opening - whether I open in the app using, FIle > Open or right click on the file in File Explorer and choose Open With > Adobe Photoshop 2025 - I get the Home screen, or whatever the landing page before you open a document is called - as shown below.  I also tried clicking on Open from this screen, and when I navigate to a file and select it, nothing then happens.  Why would this be happening?  Thanks.  

My husband passed away the night my Son and his Wife found out they were exxpecting their first child. My Son just wants a Photo of Him His Dad and His Son.I hae a picture of My Son and His Dad with a good sized space betweeen them and a pictutre of my Grandson  I need help getting my Grand son into the picture Please.   Thank You

I'm running an english Photoshop CS4 on an english Windows 7 machine but with a german keyboard, so I can't use the standard shortcut Ctrl+[ or ].The entry isnt there in Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts and I'm going crazy trying to find a solution.I already tried changing the input language and the UI language.Any Ideas?

Hi All, I am trying to add watermark for about 2000+ Images I created an action for landscape image but when a run the action for all the other images, some photos which are portrait is getting resized to landcape with white background to fill in the image, also even for some lanscape images which arelittle bit smaller than the one which I created the action from is also getting resized. I believe there should be a way to tackle this....but I dont know that...can someone please give a solution for this.

I make one small change at a time, and preview my overall workspace, but Photoshop keeps working anchors of the current element. How to get rid of those? Googling for a solution, I was told to enable View->Preview. As often is the case, Google leads me astray. Any ideas? -Ron

Hello there,   we are currently tackling an issue with Photoshop. When it is launched, it takes 4 to 5 minutes to start, but when it starts it works (almost) perfectly - only the opening of files via other Adobe Apps (such as InDesign) or File Explorer remains very slow.   We encountered the very same issue with Paint, if this information can help.  The graphic card we are currently using is a NVIDIA T400 4GB and the version of Photoshop is the 25.4.0.  If you need any other information, please let us know, we will gladly help you understand the issue right away. 

When i try to use the generative AI feature I keep getting the message  "Your system Administrator isn't allowing access to this feature right now" I purchased the software so not sure what I need to do in order to use all of the features.     

I have not been able to update photoshop for quite a while.  The Creative Cloud desktop app tells me it needs to update, so I have tried several times to update the program with no success.  I receive no errors.  The download simply stops at a different percent every time.  Sometimes it's stuck at 4% for over 12 hours before I cancel the process.  Sometimes it gets stuck at 2%, 10%, 27%, and 67%.  67% is the most progress I've got so far.  Each time I made sure my PC wasn't running any other unneeded programs or processes at the same time, but to no avail.  I read about suggestions to manually update Photoshop without using Creative Cloud but I do not know how to do that or where to find the recent updates to download.  What should I do about this?

Hi everyone, I have the latest version of adobe CC suite and i am having this issue when i save to photoshop PDF i can´t seem to keep the vector properties of the text layers. I have tried all options from High Quality Print to Press Quality, print as Adobe PDF, but it always comes out as image.Any Help?Thanks in advance

Dear PS Community, I did a quick search and did not find any answers on how to stop groups/folders in the layers panel from automatically expanding when I select a layer in that group. This matters to me, because after I am finished grouping my layers for oversight and visibility, I want my layers panel to be as collapsed and clean as possible. However, as soon as I select a layer (with the move tool), the group it is in automatically expands, thus cluttering my layers panel, forcing me to manually close/collapse the group every time. Do you know any solutions or workarounds for this?Or is this a feature we should put up for suggestion? Thank you so much 🙂 OS: MacOS Monterey 12.0.1Version: Photoshop 23.1.0. I updated Photoshop to version 26.6.1 a few days ago. After that update, some tools are missing from the toolbar and even when I add them via keyboard shortcuts, they are not added.

I have a circle in a scanned drawing that I am trying to select with the Ellipitical Marquee Tool. 1) When I click and drag to make the marquee (holding Shift to make it a true circle), the marquee only increases in size if I drag on the diagnols. Horizontal or vertical does not work. Is this the way the tool is supposed to work? 2) Trying to select the drawn circle with the circular marquee tool, I click on the upper left of the circle and drag to the lower right across the diagnol diameter of the circle but the marquee eillipse does not follow the cursor. It doesn't start at the exact upper left nor follow the cursor down. It lags behind. So when I drag from upper left to lower right of the circle, I end up with a circular marquee much smaller than the circle. I cannot get a marquee the exact size of the circle I wish to select. Am I doing something wrong or is there a setting that needs to be changed? BTW, if I try this with the rectangular marquee tool—also dragging
