Photoshop

Im honestly tired of having to convert the files with the "edit > convert to profile" menu option. I export from LR straight to PS. I dont know if that has anything to do with it. I doubt it. I just want to be able to open all my pictures in sRGB without having to do the converting. I do save for web but if the profile is converted before hand, the colors will change.

(photo 1)2-Mon profil est bien mis en SRGB (photo2) mais aujourd’hui en voulant retoucher les photos cela m’a indique une nouvelle donné en bas à gauche (photo3) alors qu’avant jamais une autre donnée (photo 4).Je ne sais pas si c’est clair ce que je raconte 🤣et je veux surtout pas me tromper et être sur que mes photos soient bien en SRGB .Je veux bien votre aide s’il vous plait.Car des que j’ouvre une photo même travaillé (de ce matin seulement pas les anciennes la photo 1 revienne sans cesse et me laisse croire que je suis pas en bon profil. Je viens de me rendre compte que sur ma série photo que je suis en train de traiter, certaines en bas sont bien notées en SRGB IEC.. d’autres c’est RVB sans descriptions et d’autres Adobe RGB 1998 … Je n’y comprends rien. j’avoue que j’ouvr

I opened photoshop to clean up a photo. closed photoshop and when I clicked on the photo to print it photoshop opened again. How do I stop photoshop from opening when I click on a photo? Need help!!

All of a sudden when I try to start Photoshop or open a Photoshop file, it gets stuck on the home screen and won't let me open a file or create a new file. I can go through the menus and do things like change preferences, but I can't actually work in any files. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I'm getting the same result. I also tried unchecking the Preferences option "Auto show the Home Screen" and Reset Preferences on Quit but no success. Has this happened to anyone else?

When I send RAW images to PS from Lightroom classic I have several Actions I created which allow me to save a small jpeg of the image as a copy for Instagram into a specific folder and then close the image from PS without saving. This has worked for many years. (I do realise that the RAW images sent from LR to PS are not RAW anymore and that they are converted to TIFF's for editing). Now when I use the same Action the copied image is overwritten every time with the same file name! I have experimented with creating new actions to save a copy of a RAW image to a smaller Jpeg for Instagram by selecting ‘save a copy’ and changing TIFF to Jpeg, but every time the last image that was saved as a Jpeg is replaced by the latest file image I am saving when i run the action I have just created, so something has changed in this version of PS 26.4.1 which does not allow me to create an action to save copies of image files with different filenames without overwriting and replacing the image that was

An unfortunate discovery that my many custom measurement scales are not automatically migrated with each Photoshop upgrade. I considered them presets which are supposed to migrate each time a newer version of Photoshop is installed. They were in a 2021 version of Photoshop that I recently deleted for space. I made the mistake of assuming that they were migrated to the newer versions (I have 2024 and 2025). I make many microscopic measurements - it is one of the primary uses of photoshop for me. Perhaps someone knows a solution to this problem I have described so I can avoid this tragedy from happening again..

Hello, I added an outer stroke to my hand-drawn design, but it seems to be lumpy, bumpy, and overall just not smooth at all. I'm not sure if it's because of the drawing or not, but if it is, how do I fix this issue?  Thank you!

Hallo, ich nutze Photoshop 2025 v25.6 unter WIN10. Seit heute funktioniert die Änderung der Pinselwerte nicht mehr korrekt. Alt-Taste und Rechtsklick mit der Maus bewirken bei mir keine rote Pinselvorschau, sondern eine schwarze Pinselvorschau. Wo kann ich die schwarze Farbe wieder in rot ändern. Gruß Hans

Hi,I have the latest Photoshop CC2023 v 24.7.0 and it's not opening Multilayered EXR files correctly any more (it worked few versions back but can't now say exactly when it got broken). Now It just gives me pop-up window for how do I want to interpret alpha channel (2 option - neither fixes issue) and then it opens EXR file (3D render with multiple channels) as just flat/single layer ???Why is that changed ? It worked fine last 10 years, so why this change? Now it is useless if Multilayered EXR opens just single layer ?????Same file(s) works ok in AE and in Affinity Photo (opens multiple layers correctly).Please FIX this ASAP.P.S. Or there is maybe some new preset options that i've missed somewhere to get back "old" behaviour ?

HolaEsto sucede en Version  26.0 en adelante de Photoshop.Sistema Windows 10Reproduccion:Hago una figura vectorial negra y le aplico "Layer Style" => "Gradient Overlay"  => "Aling with layer ". Selecciono un gradiente en color blanco "Estilo Radial" y funciona perfectamente. El efecto queda en la figura y no importa donde la mueva despues se mantiene el degradado.En Cambio al hacer esto mismo puesto en un"Grupo" con una figura vectorial adentro no funciona el "Aling with layer". El efecto radial queda sujeto al canvas y no al contenido del Grupo.Esto no me sucedia antes y uso mucho el recuerso de gradient overlay puesto en un Grupo, Ayuda!

Tengo un problema con el zoom con arrastre y es que formatee mi pc y volvi a instalar PScc pero ya no me aparece habilitada la opcion de zoom con arrastre que andes de formatear si funcionaba. Por favor ayuda.

Bonjour à tous! Depuis que j'ai collé des images pour les inscruster dans des formes de mon dessins j'ai un gros bug! Mon arrière plan n'est pas blanc mais il est comme pixelisé avec des couleurs primairest et quand je veux remplir avec l'outil pinceau ou l'option "remplir", ca ne me le met pas de la couleur souhaitée et j'ai toutes ces couleurs en arrière plan. Les couleurs sont bien visibles sur les calques mais pas toujours sur la zone de travail, tout dépend si je zoome ou pas. J'ai esséy de réinitialiser les parametres aprés fermetures mais rien a faire... Quand je veux remplir que ce soit avec une couleur ou du blanc j'ai toujours des endroits tranparents, bref je ne comprends pas comment ça se fait. Et dans mes fichiers enregistrés dans le finder on voit plein de couleur flash en fondQuelqu'un peut il m'aider ? Je trouve ça incroyable qu'il n'y ai pas de réel support d'aide alors que l'application est payante...Merci d'avance

Hi Everyone, When using Photoshop and having two or more image windows open I was able to move between the windows using the keystroke CMD + Tide. This has stopped working for some reson and everyhting I have tried has not succeeded in bringing it back. I tried resetting keyboard shortcuts and reintalling the application but nothing works. I have to manually click on each open window to see it. Using the tab key doesn't work either but switches between applications.I'm on Mac Sequoia 15.1. Anyone had this same problem and fixed it. ThanksJonathan

I keep wondering why my other programs are running so slow now whenever I edit with photoshop (since last update a few weeks ago) and it's currently using over 8000mb memory which is ridiculous, no wonder everything else barely works. It's taking about 88-90% of my memory every time I use it. 

I am getting a high spec PC but it only has Intel UHD Graphics not a dedicated Graphics card.   Will Photoshop etc work well?  What issues may arise?  

I want to select some layers and group them individually, not all in one, but each layer independently. Thanks for the help. 

I am now being required by Photoshop to sign in before I can open my files.How can I work in Photoshop offline, without signing in?  This has never been a problem for me before.

Hello allI've been trying to use a selection process in Alpher channels pannel so I can enable Generative Fill to convert my PSD file into a watercolour painting, but I'm not having any luckThe process involves making a selection after filling a new channel with 50% grey; I should then be able to hold down Ctrl and click on the thumbnail to get a working selection; however, when I do this, it flags up a warning that tells me that there is an issue and no pixels have been selected.  I am sure it should work, as I've seen many online videos using this process, but it's just working work for me...... Clearly, I'm missing something  and need a little helpAnyone !

Reecently I suddenly spotted this odd little flag in the top left corner of my image. I have never seen it before and I have never been able to re-produce it since. The image consisted of just one empty pixel layer in normal mode. Can anyone tell me what this is please?

Today I made a Vibrance adjustment on a image and pressed ctrl+I to paint on the adjustment (like I've done the last 5-6 years using photoshop) but nothing happens. Instead I have to use eraser tool to "paint" on the adjustment. Have I fiddled with a setting or what is going on...Help would be very much appriciated.
