I found a reproducible bug in Photoshop when exporting a file.(I apologize if there are any discrepancies in wording as I am using the Japanese version) Version of the app: Photoshop 26.2.0 (and 25.x)Platform and OS version: Windows 10 Pro (22H2)Basic steps to reproduce the problem　Preferences > Workspace > With Open Documents in Tabs turned off,　Select Save a copy and select the file format in which the Save Options exists.　(Save Options dialog may appear for only first opened file after launching Photoshop)　Example: TIFF, TGA, etc.Expected result and actual result　Save Options dialog should appear, but it does not and the file is saved as is.　Example: Dialog box for compression format, file bit depth, etc.

Does anyone know how to unlink fx like inner shadow from multiple smart objects in document ? I have 12 smart objects. All are completely individual. When I change one, none of the others change. Perfect. However, I add inner shadow to one, ok, but when I want a different inner shadow on another smart object -  bam, it changes the shadow of the first smart object. How do you fix this ? I tried deleting all fx and starting over with even making new shadow style in the fx dialogue box. That doesn't change the situation. All smart objects change to latest shadow I put on a different object. Driving me crazy. PS CC 25.9.1 on iMAC.

I'm having a problem where I install nad launch photoshop for the first time it checks everything ok but next time I open it unchecks everything and says unknown gpu. My gpu has direct x 12 features, latest drivers installed, have uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop a couple of times, Pleassseee HELP ME 🙏🙏🙏

Added fonts to font book. Mac 15.2. Validated fonts, and are okay. Showing up in affinity and others. Have restarted mac  and threw out font cache. No good. PS 26.2Hope this didn't post twice.

I can't get PS to content aware crop at all. Makes no difference if I check the option or not. Just fills in nothing.   Any ideas what I do wrong?

Hi, I’m currently using Photoshop versions 24 and 26. The Generative Fill feature works fine overall, but I don’t have access to its extended functionality. Specifically, I’m unable to upload photo references, nor can I enhance or improve the quality of already generated images. The only functionality I seem to have is generating images based on prompts.Could you please let me know what might be causing this? I’m located in Ukraine.Thank you! Olya

I have been unable to find a stylus pen that will work in Adobe Photoshop.  My goal is to open a photograph in the app , create a new layer, and then trace certain elements in the photo in the new layer, which will then become my new line drawing.  I use an HP Spectra Windows 11 laptop with touchscreen.  I can do this using my finger, but I have not been able to find a stylus pen that will work in the program.  I've searched everywhere for a compatibility list with no results.  Any recommendations, and no, I am not interested in connecting an external drawing tablet.  I want to use a stylus pen on my existing touchscreen.  Thanks for any assistance you may offer me.

I finally updated from Photoshop 2021 (v 22.5) to Photoshop 2025 (v26.2). When given the option before installation, I unchecked "Remove older versions," but I made sure "Import previous settings and preferences" was checked. (I don't trust updates and have learned the hard way that I shouldn't ever delete an old version of something until I'm guarenteed the new one has no issues.) Opening Photoshop 2025, I noticed that my workspace was recent to default (not a huge problem to manually fix), but I didn't have any of my actions and none of my brushes except for the system defaults, and though I had all my fonts, none of them were designated as favorites. I've spent a lot of valuable time today trying to figure out what happened. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, double-checking if the preference option was checked, etc. So I have a couple of specific questions:What exactly is supposed to copy over when you mark "import previous settings and preferences"? Hi there,It seems that every time I boot up Photoshop, it opens as a black screen. The bar with file, edit etc is there but the rest is black. When I try to open a new or old file, the screen remains black. I've tried using older versions, to no avail.Any ideas?Thanks!

If you use Photoshop on the desktop, one can change the image size -  through the menu, Image - Image Size, and change the sizing but, where is that on the web version of Photoshop, to change the resolution from 72 ppi to 300ppi?If you log into you adobe.com account, and in your apps, you have Photoshop (Web)

Please reinstall the application. I have already tried restarting my MacBook and reinstalling Photoshop, but the issue persists. Dear community,following issue occurs: until the latest version of PS I saved very big 16-bit-tif-files with the following settings:compression: none, image pyramid: unchecked,Interleaved, Macintosh, RLEThey never exceeded 4 gb so that I could save them as tif-files (they were about 2 - 3 gb).Since the update to version 24.1 (PS 2023) I get the warning that the file could not be saved as it exceeds the 4gb limit of tif-images though I used exactly the same settings for saving the filesI tried to save older pictures I was editing and saving with the older version of photoshop and suddenly they got bigger too when saving them with the new version.Has anybody an idea how this can occur?Best wishes,André

Geting a bit frustrated with all the bugs here but now from one second to another some of my LUT's in color lookup is not woking. I get a black screen and lowering the opacity is just bringing the layer back. Any clues why they are gone? I miss the bleach bypass that is one of my go to LUT's.

I want to use this to simplify the tones to help with evaluating eye travel. Most often I would use black, white and two or three intermediate grey tones. I tried the posterize adjustment layer, but it appeared to have other things going on, actually creating more grey levels then I had set in the properties.  Maybe something using threshold settings? I've looked around for an action that would create this layer, but haven't found anything. Of course, knowing the proper steps I could just record them as an action. Thanks,Russell

Photoshop opens images with grid applied. How can I stop this? Using PS 26.2.0. Mac Sequoia 15.2

I have a large number of product images that have their shadows as a seperate image as can be seen here: Each of these images follow the same naming conventions with a "_shadow" suffix at the end of the shadow images. Here's a quick screengrab of an example on how they look:  The main goal is to open up the non shadow images in photoshop, for example "lawn_mower.png" and then place the shadow image in the same file but below the main image layer. Once that is done, for it to export a .PSD of the resulting documnt with whilist inheriting the name of the original image which in this case would be "lawn_mower.psd" into a desination folder.  As I have over a 100 of these images that follow the same naming conventions. Is there a way to automate the above process in a single click so it searches the whole folder and performs the tasks similar to how the Image Processor works in photoshop? I've tried going down the scripting route but have hit a wall a

Hello,Whenever I call the crop tool in an action I get the white box without the handles, frame or grid (see pictures bellow).Also when I drag the box it doesn't comes with the mouse cursor and when droped it suddenly moves farther than the mouse.The issues appeared a few updates ago and is consistent on different computers.Already tryed to reset the settings, and redo the action from scratch, I could use the action once but then the issue persists.Photoshop V26.2.0 on Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2Any help to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
