The PS 27.11.0 update hid the Contiguous checkbox. Now to see whether it’s checked or not, one has to click on the three dots in the Options bar. I am constantly using the Contiguous function, and this is a time-consuming and frustrating change. How can I make the Contiguous check-box always visible?

Im Anfang lies sich Photoshop nicht mehr öffnen. Nach den letzten Updates (Windows und Photoshop) lässt sich Photoshop öffnen, meldet aber beim Öffnen von Bilddateien einen Programmfehler.Da keine genaue Fehlermeldung existiert kann ich auch nicht sagen, ob Windows oder Photoshop  den Fehler generiert. Ich nutze die neueste Windows 11 Pro Version mit allen aktuellen Patches und Photoshop 27.10.0

Hi everyone !I'm using Adobe Photoshop 2026 through an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription on a new 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro chip and 24 GB RAM.I've been experiencing a strange issue where a small numerical overlay occasionally appears over my image and gets stuck on the screen.This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, the overlay won't disappear, and I have to restart Photoshop to get rid of it.The overlay displays the following text (translated from Norwegian):"Minimum: 1.00, Maximum: 300000.00"I've attached here a screenshot taken when this happened on April 3, 2026.I've never experienced this particular behavior on my previous MacBook Pro (2019, Intel-based), or on the MacBook Pro M1 (2020) I'm currently using as a loaner.I'm not assuming this is a hardware problem. This is a screenshot of the circle I'm referring to. It was changing over time, sort of pulsating. The screenshot is of a portion of the screen showing my browser window. This blue circle stayed in front of any screen I switched to, until I switched to Photoshop. Then it disappears. That leads me to believe it's Adobe software doing it. I'm using a 16" M4 Macbook Pro. Searching the internet for explanations I see other Adobe products are implicated in this same issue.What is the animated icon meant to represent? How can I prevent it in the future? I really don't know what I did to have triggered it. Hovering over it and clicking it did nothing. So it's a useless feature. Worse than that, it's an annoyance, since it encumberts other applications.

Sometimes when I export images via File > Export > Export As…, the exported dimensions don’t seem to maintain the expected aspect ratio when I change the width or height.For example, I have an original image that is 8507 × 6381 px. As far as I can calculate, this isn’t an exact 4:3 aspect ratio, even though I’ve used the Crop Tool to crop the image to 4:3.When I export the image and set the width to 6000 px, I would expect the height to be 4500 px. However, Photoshop sets it to 4501 px instead.If I then manually change the height to 4500 px, Photoshop changes the width to 5999 px.I know this is a minor issue, but I’m curious about why this happens and whether I’m missing something or doing something wrong.Any input would be appreciated!Photoshop version 27.11.0

We use a lot of action sets for work and I need to move them between computers. Previously, when i would record a script or a Guide Layout in a PS action, as long as i put them in /Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2026/Presets/Guides, they would only display the name and not the exact path. This meant when I updated PS versions, the guides and scripts would relink seamlessly. This is no longer the case. Now my options are to re-record opening the script, load the preset, make one small change, then change it back, then press OK. This records the values but i lose the visual name of the custom guide showing in my action set. ALTERNATIVELY, i have to re-record the guide to the newest version location (which means i’d have to do that each time i update). Storing the guides outside of that location opens up a can of worms for when i move these action sets to another computer. Anyone have tips? Is this a bug? 

PhotoShopでデータセットからの書き出しを行う際に、ファイルの名前を設定する欄で、データセット番号+アンダースコア(_)+データセット番号でいつも書き出しできていたのに、突然、2桁の数字しかファイル名に反映されなくなったのですが、どこかの設定を触ったりしてしまったのでしょうか？ 旧バージョン・最新バージョン共に発生しており、別PCなら問題なく3桁以上の数字でも書き出しできてます。

I just bought a Brand new PC and Photoshop struggles to operate efficiently utlizing my new GPU. Here’s the specs: CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 270k PlusGPU: NVIDIA RTX5070TiRAM: 64GBSSD: 1TBOS: Windows 11 Pro4k, 32” Monitor. Problem 1: The issue is mainly with the Object Selection tools and those tools/options that requires GPU. I’ve turned off all settings for Object Selection tool for auto detecting objects. But it still takes a 2-5 secs to fully operational. So even the automatic detection is disabled, when I select the tool, the little loading icon still spins like it’s detecting something. Before it finishes, if I try to draw a rectengle to select subject, it lags behind my mouse movement. When the detection icon stopped, then the tool behave as expected. I’m not sure what happens during the process.No crush of course. Photoshop 27.11.0 on macOS 26.0.1.With Content Credentials enabled, TIFF files record edits correctly and show no warning after saving. After closing and reopening the TIFF, Photoshop reports that some edits or activities may not have been recorded.The same workflow with PSD files works correctly.The issue is reproducible with newly created TIFFs and without scripts or plugins. TIFF files also create a .c2paws sidecar file.Please investigate the Content Credentials handling of TIFF files.

PS has just updated to 27.11.0 and I’m no longer able to use the luminosity masks action that I had been using successfully up to now. It makes an attempt to create the masks but after several error messages, it will only create a selection of the total that it normally would.I work in Lab colour mode but it’s also affected in RGB also.I just need a simple action that can do as I need, I don’t want a separate plug-in. A bit baffled as to why this is happening.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I color select and delete what I have selected, the selected portion of the layer just changes opacity. My fuzziness is set to zero, and it never did this before this week, so I don’t know what’s going on.This was a test demonstration^ the original blue was the color of the swatch.

I'm a college student and my school didn't have my school email registered to be able to use the photoshop subscription attached to it the first couple of weeks of the semester, so I used my personal email to use the free trial until it got settled. I forgot to cancel the free subscription once I got it, and it ended up charging $25 to my account. I just want a refund because I need every dollar I have.
