My Photoshop (Creative Cloud) was just updated to version 23.3.2Now it is impossible to open the application. When trying to open I only get this message on the screen:Where do I reinstall from, and how to do it without making a mess with my CC subscription?Greetings from Norway

Sou fotografo e trabalho pricipalmente con fotografia sensual, até um tempo atrás a IA estava me ajudando muito com a limpeza e preenchimento de cenário nas ultimas atualizações parou de funcionar e toda vez pede para eu que reveja as diretizes, já enviei alguns feedbacks com as imagens porem o problema persiste.O funcionamento como antes me ajudava muito e facilitava imenssamente as correções no cenario e na pele das/os modelos. 

Using the Photoshop Forum has always been my fallback for any problems I have using the software. Now it's called the Photoshop Ecosystem? Is that just because some of us are using the app on mobile devices rather than solely on desktop/laptop computers, as I do?  If so, OK, I guess, but the new title stopped me dead when I wanted to post a question yesterday. I guess I should expect the same re-labeling for the Illustrator forum?

I'm trying to crop an image so it has the similar outline to the following. Any tips or online tutorials on how to do this.?I tried to create a shape in Illustrator using varios brushes but was unable to merge them and create a outline, there must be an easier way.

I edit a pic and save it to a folder, closing it out of Photoshop, which remains open. If I then try to change the name of the containing folder or move it via Windows Explorer, Windows 10 tells me: "The action cannot be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program. Please close the blah blah ...." I can however rename the file, but still not then move or rename the folder. Nor can I move the folder or rename it via Bridge. This is resolved if I close Photoshop. Photoshop seems to retain some memory space or such so that Windows interprets as the file open. It does this even if within Photoshop: 1. I use edit/purge/all, 2. open another file (or create one) in Photoshop and save it somewhere (to occupy the program) or, 3. clear the "recent files" list. The is very annoying as I must close Photoshop and reopen, breaking my workflow. Any ideas?   {Thread renamed by moderator}

I'm trying to use a stylistic set for an open type font (Lexend Deca, a Google font) in Photoshop v 26.4.1 on a Macbook Pro M1 (Sequoia 15.2) but the option is greyed out in the type panel's context menu. I use it without any problem in IndDesign and Illustrator.(Attached image is in Swedish GUI.)

Photoshop v26.4.1Windows 11  Keyboard shortcut SHIFT+ALT+R, to select Clear blend mode when using Brush Tool, no longer works for me. Every other blend mode shortcut listed here works as expected. 

I have a complaint which is as follows, when I select a subject with the lasso tool the space bar does not cause canvas movement, and neither the backspace button is working

I'm trying to make contact sheets with around 200 photos - everything is working great except it insists on including the .JPG in all the photo labels. I went through and deleted it off all the photo names (so Few_House.JPG became just Few_House) but it still prints them on the contact sheet. Any ideas on how to remove that, other than going through and marking up each individual label?

Hey all! Setting up a new, 2025 Macbook Pro, M4 (running Sequoia 15.3.1). I selected 'Enable Generator' via PS settings > plugins, like normal.. But here's the problem:I'm getting the 'error message' I've read about on here: "There was a problem with Generator. If the problem persists, please see: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/error---there-is-a-problem-with-generator--occurs-when-launchin...".. I use this feature a lot for quickly saving out jpegs and I can't get the error message to go away or the image assets generator to work. Is there a newer, similar feature everyone's using instead? Here's everything I've tried:I've read threads on here, read the article linked in the error message - none of the solutions seem to work.Am running the most up to date version of PS, tried in PS Beta also.Have checked/unchecked 'enable generator', restarted photoshop, CC and my computer.Don't have any anti-virus software outside of whatever is built into Macbooks.N

When I switch from one PSD to another, Photoshop changes the brush tools. How can I stop this?

Clicking on the Application folder the "unistall" option, PS2023 (24.1.0) doesn't uninstall (on CC). How can I do to uninstall it? Thanks

I find myself frequently selecting several hundred files to make contact sheets (using bridge) and then can find no way to print all of them at once in Photoshop.Is there some solution to this? some command that prints all open files? I know it can be done in Lightroom, but that doesn't help since these files have not been imported to Lightroom and are just for a one time use...thanks,tom

I'm studying Phtoto Shop by Tutorial.  I'm expecting to open "New Layer Dialog" by double clicking Background layer. However other dialog opened instead.  I'm using Mac.  Detail is following.< How to create error >Start Photoshop > Help > Hands-On tutorials > Add visual effects > Create a symmetrical photo effect with a  Blend mode >  Start Tutorial > Blue Dialog " Double - click the Background layer to open the New Layer Dialog and convert it to regular layer. Click OK. Alright, so I've tried both the Batch Update Smart Object and Batch Mockup Templates and I get an error message for the same line (line 370 on Batch Update Smart Object and line 381 Batch Mockup Templates). IK there's a better way, but it's what has worked) I've used Batch Update Smart Object many times for Etsy listing images, and I've had this issue a few times but I've always been able to figure it out. But this time, I am just stumped and not sure what is wrong. I even used a file that was working and resized the canvas and everything to work, and added in the BG, and suddenly it doesn't work. 

Hi,I have this JavaScript which saves each layer of Photoshop as a Separate PDF. I want an addition to this script so that all the separate PDFs can be merged into a single PDF. The objective is to convert a GIF into a PDF. Here's what I do:1) open a GIF (containing layers) in Photoshop.2) execute the JS, which saves each layer of the GIF as a separate PDF at the same location within a temp folder.3) The third part requires merging all those PDFs into a single PDF.
