Photoshop

Photoshop 26.4.1 I am creating a shape with the Rectangular Marquee tool and modifying it with Free Transform. However, when I checked I found a cut where I made the initial tool. I did not set a cut there but it is there anyway.  To reproduce: Select the rectangular Marquee tool and create a shape.Select free transform, move the shape, and/or rotate it. You will see a cut where the shape was created. 

Hello.I'm trying to edit some textures for E football 2021,and i'm getting these weird artefacts in game.The texture has an alpha channel and it looking like it's "eating" from my colour pallete.I've been using photoshop cs 6 and 2025 and still have the same result.The texture is been exported as a dds with the Intel plugin.Any ideas?Thank you    

Photoshop 26.4.1 suddenly started freezing within 1-2 minutes of opening. Runnng MacOS 15.3.1 on an M1 MacStudio. App was fine two days ago. Had to re-install Microsoft Outlook yesterday, it works fine.Opening without plug-ins, still freezing.Re-installed, stll freezing.Opened different files, froze.Check old replaced laptop, all Adobe already de-activated. Checked permissin, Full Disk Access granted, restarted, froze.Sample process attached. Help much appreciated, John

Is there a way to toggle on or off a range of selected layers, such as I have in the below screenshot?  It seems like if you were to select a range of layers and then right-click, it would be logical and handy to have the option to turn them off (or on).  Thanks for any help.  

Photoshop 22.0.1How can I reset Photoshop so the "window"? "workspace"? - not sure of the term - automatically fits the image you are working on? It used to be if I used the zoom tool, the space would zoom or unzoom to fit the image, then suddenly that stopped working.See below. I'm talking about the red border area - in the top pic, it's too large for the image; in the bottom it's too small. I want it so whenever you zoom or unzoom, the border area zooms with it. Thanks for your help.

I have the most recent version of PS, trying to use it with a free trial to see if it's worth the cost. I have a text box, the text box is in already in paragraph mode. I want to make the text box larger without resizing the text within. When I double click the text box, there are no visible resize handles. When I resize when not in edit mode, the text is also scaled. Every answer to this question seems to be "convert the text to paragraph mode" but right clicking the box does not offer this and it is grayed out in the Type menu at the top of the screen. Please tell me how to do this simple thing, I've used many image editing programs, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here 😞

Hello. When I try to pick colours with the colour picker tool it tends to select a much more desaturated version of it instead, it's driving me mad. I've checked both my layers and my brushes and they're at normal opacity both of them and normal blending mode. This issue is consistent between all of my files which leads me to believe that this is a problem with the program itself and not any layer modes etc. How do I fix this? I've linked a video to demonstrate my problem. This has literally never happened to me before. Thanks in advance. (P.S. The only reason my mouse is freaking out in the video is because quicktime player is running in the background).   

hi everyone,  not sure if this is the right place to post as this but the other day I managed to open a photo in Camera Raw from bridge (I have a subscription to only Lightroom) and today camera raw is looking like this. Does anyone know why and how to fix it?? (Also I know lt would be easier to just use Lightroom but I'm in university and we are required to use Camera Raw) 

Hi all,since the last update i have an issue with the hand tool. Usually i use the space bar for switch to the hand tool and scroll the image, but after releasing the space bar and the mouse click the tool keep working like if i am still holding down the commands annd the cursor movement clearly move my visual. For unlocking it i have to click 4-5 times on the image o clickin on the navigator.Someone have an idea for fixing it? 😞Thanks a lot

Pues eso, cuando inteto abrir Photoshop Beta 26.5, al intentar cargar lo pinceles, sse queda el mensaje de "Leyendo pinceles" y salta el cartelito de informar del error.

Something to work on thumbnails  without necessity to upload hi res photos in some cloud? Preferably recognizing subjects  of materials,  like grass, asphalt ,  crumbled paint,  rusted meta,   oil drops, painted lines ,  etc?   Not just location,people faces cats and cars.      Something to process thousands of images?

When I open Photoshop, a white rectangle appears without opening a new file and prevents me from using the application. I deleted and reinstalled it, but it did not work. I deleted the cache files, but it did not work. How can I fix this problem?

I have several folders of  TIFF images.  I need to process them individually, then save them as JPG in the same folder the original TIF was in.I  created an action with provides several of the final steps I need, including the "Save As".  I clicked the "modal" option for the "save as" step, so I can edit the name as need be before saving.My problem is the action "remembers" the directory path in which the action was created (i.e. the first folder).  When I run the action on images I've opened from other folders, it defaults to the first folder.  So I need to navigate to the current folder every time.  This is a pain.How can I just have the action open the save as dialog to the same directory as the currently open image?

I'm suddenly having trouble using the adjustment brush tool. I was using it earlier while working in this file with no issues but now I can't get it to cooperate and I don't understand why.  I've double checked that I'm on the right layer but for some reason nothing happens when I try to use the regular brush to add to my mask. However it will work if I select the "Apply to Object" option.  Any ideas why this is happening? I feel like I'm probably missing something obvious. 

This is probably a dumb question, but how do I break up the tabs in the Color/Swatches/Gradient window? I want to be able to have the color selection bar stacked above swatches, since I go back-and-forth when I'm hunting for the right shade/tint/hue. I've tried the click-and-drag method, but it only lets me rearrange the tab order within the window and won't let me break them up. I can do this in InDesign and Illustrator. So what am I missing? I'm using the most updated Photoshop 2025 on a Windows 10 computer.

In Preferences, General, the "Auto show the home screen" is unchecked, but I still get that big white screen that I have no use for.  I've even checked "Open in legacy new document interface" but that didn't change anything.  I also don't see the command box for AI changes.  Thanks, I hope

Hi.I'm trying to create a panorama using the latest version of Photoshop - File / Automate / Photomerge.The 'Auto' option gives a skewed result, probably because the images were not quite correctly levelled, but the 'Reposition' option seems to work fine.The Adobe documentation for Reposition isn't clear (to me).Can anybody explain why Reposition works ok when Auto doesn't, and outline any disadvantages in using this option?Thanks in anticipation.

Hi there, I'm having an issue where whenever I go to my Brush Presets window, I will click on a saved Clone Stamp preset and it will force itself on to a Brush preset instead. No matter how many times I click on the Clone Stamp prest, it will revert to the brush. I have to then choose the Clone preset I wanted, let it force itself back to the Brush tool, leave the Brush Presets, and hit "S" to go back to the Clone Stamp. Please see attached video. This issue is present in both Photoshop 26.4.1 and Photoshop Beta 26.5 Yes, "Include size" and "Include tool" were checked when creating the Clone all presets.What I have tried thus far:Resetting both the Brush tool and Clone Stamp.Resetting PreferencesReinstalling Saved PreferencesDeleted both version of Photoshop and reinstalled them.Downloaded earlier versions of Photoshop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZndz0METAYIf anyone has any insight, it would be appreciated. hiis there a one-click solution to move my complete PS settings/actions/brushes/palette settings to another mac/PS version? i am using PS since years, and need to move my complete settings to another mac or photoshop beta version from time to time. with "complete settings" i mean: photoshop preferences,, brushes, actions, palette positions, palette settings, ... - once they had "sync over cloud" to move all settings, but it never worked for me (not available)- moving settings manually is awkward and needs lot of time on mac

I want to know when an update arrives, how large the file is. how big is the update in MB, and how many files are being downloaded. I'm surprised this isn't in a drop-down menu in the CCD client. Where do I find this information for every update that comes along?

Bonjour, svp, corrigez el problème de traduction erronnée qui est apparu sur photoshop version française depuis les versions CC : Couleur et Nuancier ont des sens différents et c'es confusant d'avoir mis dans al palette nuancier "nouveau nuancier prédéfini" et "nouveau groupe de nuanciers" alors que ça devrait être "nouvelles couleur prédéfinie" et "nouveau groupe de couleurs".ça n'a pas DU TOUT la même signification et ça induit les gens en erreur.Merci d'avance de bien vouloir intégrer enfin cette correction.CordialementCléo
