Photoshop

Droplets in Version 26.2.0 aren't working."Can't communicate with Photoshop" error is showing every time i try to use a droplet. Non of this workarounds do solve the problem:- run as admin (ps and droplet)- run ps and create droplets without admin permission- reinstall ps- remove all other ps installs, reinstall- create new actions in 26.2.0 -> create droplet- open ps -> open file -> run droplet- change user savety permissions- change ps and droplet .exe permissions to "full access" It's a mess. 

I am using Photoshop and when I go to save my image file the .jpg or .cre shows up on my screen after every file. This never occured before. I would like it to go away. example of what the file name looks like on my save as screen:3O7A6965.jpg  example of what the file name looks like after I have named & saved it:3O7A6965.jpg 02 Easton Laubscher 02.jpg Example of what it previously would look like when I named & saved it:3O7A6965 02 Easton Laubscher 02.jpg I never needed to use the extra keystrokes to delete .jpg for EVERY file I was saving. There must be something I clicked.Thanks for your help.

We have Windows 10, 10.0.19045, and PS 25.2.0. We have all of a sudden started getting errors when trying to run droplets. We've tried to recreate them and we've also tried to run them as administror, but we always get this error now. "Cannot communicate with Photoshop".  We looked through the forums and found some old threads from 2018, but this is 2023. Any ideas on how to fix this? thanks 

In the layers panel, when you drag a layer onto the + sign/create a new layer icon to duplicate it, the layer's content disappears from the canvas. I do not know if this is intentional or a bug - but this is NEW behaviour and is - to my mind - an AWFUL glitch in one's workflow. Bad move if intentional.... Running Sonoma 14.7.2 and Photoshop 26.1.0

Please fix!! When I save using keyboard shortcut the entire screen shifts!!!!!!!!!!! C'mon you guys, get it together.

I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with Photoshop on my iPad Pro. Every time I open the app and I go to select a brush it gives me the: “No brushes available. We’ve run into an error. Please delete and reinstall Photoshop to restore your brushes.” I’ve followed the advice to delete and reinstall Photoshop multiple times, but the issue persists. I’m only trying to access the default brushes—I haven’t tried importing any custom brushes yet. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:1.Reinstalled the app multiple times.2.Ensured my iPadOS and Photoshop app are up to date.3.Signed out and back into my Creative Cloud account.4.Checked my Creative Cloud sync settings. None of these steps have resolved the issue, and the default brushes remain unavailable. Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, So this is a request to incorporate a live rounded shape on subtracted shapes "after" the calculation like in figma to create advanced shapes. I have attached the screenshot of Photoshop vs how Figma does it. Also the ability to move the shapes around while the calculation updates in real time. I am using the latest version of PS.P.S: If this already exists, do let me know please.

I have a problem with a PSB file that cannot be opened because I get an end-of-file error. Tried updating the program, tried using repair programs but they all only work for PSD files. I tried to recover a project from an overwritten file. Reset preferences didn't work either. I'm in a bind right now because I want this file to work back and none of the solutions will work. I even wrote to @AdobeCare on Twitter, and despite their help, I still haven't recovered the file.

Hi, I need some help with my Photoshop 2020 version 21.2.4. Everytime I try to create a new document, the configuration panel appears but when I press the "create" button nothing happens. With the Photoshop 2025 update, all of my ICC profiles have been renamed to ASUS_*  (which is more or less gibberish) when accessing the devices to simulate drop down menu in View/proof setup/custom. How can I get the original names back?v. 26.2.0Windows 11 64-bit

I'm automating a batch in which a layer is added to each image and then saved as a PSD.When recording the action I ticked the option 'layers' in the save dialog, and when saved as a single file the layer is there after reopening the file. But it's not when running the action as a batch.Any ideas? Thank you!Photoshop 26.2.0Windows 11

I am editing a batch of photographs in Photoshop and need to toggle between seeing all of my open Photoshop files tiled, small, side by side and viewing just one of the files at a larger size. I used to be able to do this in earlier versions but in Photoshop version 26.2.0 I can only figure out how to tile my open files in horizontal or vertical slices. Is there a way to easily view all of my open files simultaniously without them appearing cropped?

Hi All, I'm working with a bit of Sanskrit text and for some reason the text just does not display correctly when I paste it in, not even with Adobe Devanagari fonts. I've gotten Linotype Devanagari Regular font from a website and that worked in the preview on the site but doesn't work on Photoshop. For some reason the text does seem to work with Kohinoor Devanagari fonts though. For context, I'm using an Apple MacBook M1 Pro and using Photoshop v25. This is very urgent work and any help would be appreciated.

How do I turn off this atrocity?

Hi. I'm having another issue again So when I use my trackpad and draw a line in photoshop, theres a loading cursor, but the brushes work smoothly, it didn't lag or move slowly or anything. I'm not the best at explaining things but here's some screenshots and hopefully you kinda know what I mean?? I recently updated photoshop to photoshop cc 2018. I'm so sorry if I don't make any sense at all.When I start drawing my line the loading cursor isn't there yetThis happens when I still hold down on my trackpadWhen I let go everything is fineIm not sure if this is normal or anything, but if you have answers to this please help me!

When I did "save as" on a jpg, it always used to default to the previous quality setting I had used, in the jpeg options image quality pop-up box. I want to always use 12, which always came up bacause I had used it on the last save. Recently it started defaulting to 5. I changed it to 12; the next save (new image) went back to 5. I changed it again to 12 on the next new image, then restarted photoshop, the next save went back to 5. I can't find anyplace in "preferences" to specify my preferred value. How do I fix this?
