Photoshop

I have a large documents with a lot of text layers. My font got updated and now some letters look a bit different, so I need to update all my text layers in one go instead of wasting time doing it manually with every layer.  Problem is, a while back I clicked on "No" then checked "Don't show again", and now I can't make that message to show up again. I tried: Preferences > General > Reset All Warning Dialogs, closed PS then reopened my file, but that message still doesn't want to come up for this exact file (it does however show up for other files). I looked everywhere for a way to apply this update to my entire document but I can't find anything. How can I solve this very simple task?

I've updated the latest version of Photoshop and its still giving me an error message when I want to use generative fill. Any way to resolve this?

Hi thereWhen I wish to save an image or a change in Photoshop 2025 e.g. a new layer I can't get permission. The computer is mine (MacBook Air 2020), the hard disk is mine, Creative Cloud acount is mine.  I keep getting this notification in Danish, that I don't have access to edit the file. I never an in to this problem before. Thanks in advance.

I'm using Generative AI with the Distraction Removal tool. I am selecting the snowman in the center of my image to remove, and it is removing it but also distorting the entire outer edge of the image. The edge distortion also increases every time I adjust anything else (i.e. the lantern) How do I avoid this happening? Pics below: 

Hi,In Photoshop/Photoshop Beta, I want to highlight the command "New Smart Object via Copy" in the Layer panel, same as I do for other commands. However, I can only find it under the Application Menues (Layer > Smart Objects >  New Smart Object via Copy) and can't find it under "Keyboard Shortcuts and Menus > Panel Menus" panel.Any suggestions? Thanks. 

Hello, I need to create a border on many (over a thousand) images of different pixel sizes.  Most of the images are not square.  The borders need to appear relatively proportional regardless of how big or small the image size is.  Using an action that increases (relative) canvas size by percentage creates borders of the same proportion, but on images that are not square, the x and y borders are different sizes. (insert sad face here).  Is there a way to do this in photoshop I am not aware of that works on non square images?  There is an old post on this forum that asks this question, (https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/need-action-that-makes-an-equal-sized-border-for-images-with-different-sizes/td-p/11876979) and (https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/action-that-uses-a-percentage-of-image-size-in-pixel-dimensions/m-p/9897687#M174298) but the answers involve scripting and honestly I did not understand...

Latest version 22.1. I turn on neural filters and this error appears and then PS crashed. What's the matter? 

Am using Zephyrus G14 and all versions of PS are slow, hang and ultimately crash - No matter how simple the file, or indeed just opening it. Have disabled GPU, with no effect. Is there anything that works?

Recently ive been working on an animation in Photoshop and I've been copying and pasting objects into the next frame to speed up the process. It was pasting into the next frame, but now suddenly it keeps creating a new layer instead when I hit paste. And merging layers wont work because otherwise the video layer converts into a normal layer and clipping masks wont work either. I desperately need answers as soon as possible (before this Friday).[Title edited by moderator for clarity to include “in frames”]

I couldn't open or import any photos into my Photoshop. It is not showing any errors. it just stays as it is.I don't know what to do.... I am using the genuine paid version but I'm facing this issue... The worst part is no one is helping..

The quick export as PNG simply doesn't do anything, no dialog on export as either.   It seems that overlays are completely off. For instance, if I create a square and add a new layer that is 1 pixel smaller on each side they don't line up. You would expect them to sit on top with a 1 pixel bezel aropund teh square.Finally the tool just randomly locks up. This has never happened in the past. I have a Mac Pro with 32 GB, M2 Max. I do serious development on this machine. Have had to resort to an older Intel based iMac at times to get some stuff done.I do not have the same issues with the Beta but I use it less.This release appears to be way off.   [Moved from ‘Lightroom Classic Bugs’ to ‘Photoshop ecosystem Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Looking to replace my laptop and have been considering the Surface Pro 6 or 7. The one thing I really want to be able to do is edit on the screen with a pen. I think the Lenovo C920 would work but wonder if anyone has tried it on that machine. If there are any other models/brands I would appreciate knowing someone who has successfully used them. Hoping to have a few different models picked out so I can keep on the look out during Black Friday sales. 

Hello has anybody faced this issue, somehow during my work photoshop just hangs then corrupts the file im working on.1. All layers get some funny pattern as shown in the screenshot2. All the open files also get corrupted with the same pattern3. none is recoverable Its really annoying after doing a composition for 5 hours (first corrupted file), the current screenshot has like 6 peices on the same artboard, im really stressed. Someone kindly help with a solution or fix. hi there...i am trying to make a animation in photoshop with sound. but each time i import audio in the time line and play no sound comes out but i see the adio is there

We recently upgraded to modern photoshop but I am having a problem with how the brushes are working. I want to create a gradient with more opacity in the center graduating to low opacity at the bounds of the brush. However, when I choose a soft general brush and set the hardness to 0%, opacity to 100%, and flow to 100% with the cursor set to "Normal Brush Tip" in preferences I get the following result which shows the resulting color extending beyond the brush outline. This gets progressively worse if I continue to click in the same spot. *Single Click* *Multiple Clicks* When I change the cursor to "Full Size Brush Tip" the resultant color gradient is too far within the bounds of the brush outline. When I click multiple times in the same spot it remains far beyond the bounds of the brush outline. *Single Click*  *Multiple Clicks*Ultimately I am using the stamp tool, and these brush behavior inhibits my accuracy.What can I do to create a soft gradient brush

In windows, I have photoshop set as the default app to open .dng files I want to open some .dng files in photoshop and use its 'file info' to view all the metadata.But my .dng files open in camera raw instead, and I have to go through another step to open in photoshop.I don't understand why this has to be a two step process, to open a .dng file in photoshop. Why are these opening up in ACR first? Any way to change this? thanks for any help or insight.

I'm getting an error that reads "Could not open filename because the file is already in use or was left open by another application." anytime I attempt to open a photoshop file on my main work PC. I have uninstalled everything Adobe I have installed and reinstalled just CC and Photoshop, but the problem persists.

I took a bunch of pictures today I wanted to post in an online forum. But Photoshop 25.0.0 insists on saving photos as JPEG 2000. The website I wanted to post it on, part of tapatalk.com, only wants good old .jpg. I had a frustrating session with Adobe's help, which had no answer and wanted $50. Do you have any thoughts? I have a lot of notes written in notebooks and I want to pull the text from these notebooks and remove the notebook background so I can put these hand written notes as PNG format into an app such as obsidian so it can be manipulated by css.When I try to use AI to remove the notebook papaer by removing backgrounds, it only removes the background behind the notebook and not the notebook paper itself.The goal is to extract only the text from the notebook as an image.I'm a novice to PS and searching only led me down how to manipulate documents. Which isn't really what I'm looking for.Please go easy on me, I'm very new to photoshop.

hello everyone,im hoping someone can help me , would really appreciate it. I am looking for ways to creating beautiful landscape lighting effects on my customers homes simulating night time and displaying for spotlight lighting fixtures casting beams on the homes pillars, columns , trees etc.  path light fixtures casting light , and inground light fixtures casting light and they are using a warm white 3000 kelvin colour temperature. if someone can provide me a step by step i would really appreciate someone working with me as i am learning adobe photoshop. I am using windows, and my system is a microsoft surface pro 11. many thanks. 

I cannot for the life of me get a precise path from a bitmap/pixel selection. I make a selection [object selection tool] (typical of a packshot with white background).I then go go path > make work path from selection.but the selection becomes awful, the curves become bended and any straight lines becomes curvy. Is there another way?
