Photoshop

Hi all. I have a small script that should open all folders and change all text layers. But I need to change text layers in smart objects too and this is the biggest problem. My layers have suddenly for not reason (that i know of) stopped auto raise.   How can I get them to go back to auto-raise.       (In truth I'd never have chosen auto-raise, but after years and years with it, it's very hard to re-adjust.)thanks,Judy

A couple days ago, i found myself unable to use blur gallery. i don't what i did or what's wrong but this is all that opens when i click any of the blur gallery options. How do i fix it? What should i do? 

When tryin to open a file by choosing the file menu then open the browse box is blank. Version 24.2  

Adjutment layers in CMYK are all messed up. Some RGB setings are visible in CMYK such as Black & White but don't work, and Curves, Hue/Saturation are all greyed out!Makes working in CMYK very dificult!

Hello!  After five years I need to update my PC because of timeissues, loading 200 RAW files from a session is tiresome and 1000 RAW from a sportevent takes at least 1 hour. Ive decided to go with Ryzen 9900x and 96 Gb of DDR 5, 5200mhz memory, will also have 2x2 tb SSD from WD (gen 4). But I am stuck choosing a graphiccard - I am considering a GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Windforce. Is that enough or should I choose someting else?

Hello,I'm posting this to ask about this weird red mask that appeared on a file that I opened from Lightroom. I had edited this picture previously, but I nevr applied any mask to it, and it doesn't show in the layers either. Does anyone know anything about this?

In my workflow I make heavy use of both layer comps and slices. A typical file for me is a large sheet of assets with one asset per slice, then to handle colour variants I use layer comps. Think a big texture sheet with a bunch of furniture, trinkets, weapons, whatever on it. Then the layer comps changes the colours of these items. When the time comes to export these assets, my process looks like this: File > Export > Save for WebOnce exported, I use another bit of software to batch append the name of the layer comp to each slice. EG, if the slice was named 'Barrel_01' and the layer comp was 'Red', I would rename the exported file to 'Barrel_01_Red'.Move to the next layer comp.Repeat until everything is exported. As you can imagine, that is terribly inefficient for large asset sheets. I have noticed that the 'File > Export > Layer Comps to Files' option does export the slices for every layer comp, but it doesn't take into account the naming convention, m

My Photoshop keeps lagging, especially when using brushes and multiple layers. I've tried increasing RAM and hard, but it's still slow. Any other solutions?

when ever I go to render a tree in photoshop I click filter<render<tree, and when I get to the customize screen for the tree all i can see is pink and i cant figure out how to turn it off. I am on the most current version of photoshop. Has anybody else had that problem? 

I am linking in files that will be used for different masks. I need to scale the link to the same size as the background image. How can it be done precisely?Drag scaling is not precise and it only snaps to one edge at a time making it useless.  

I have a series of movies which I intended to individually import into PhotoShop CS6 Extended, add end credits, and then export WITHOUT SOUND. For the life of me, I can't see any way to remove the audio from the movies! I'm sure this feature was easily available in the PS CS6 beta version. Any clues?

I wouldn't be asking if I hadn't tried it myself, but the outcome isn't what I envisioned; the face I added looks either artificial or just terrible and unrealistic. I recently updated Photoshop 26.2.0 and now when I am working in the "File Info" section the text no longer wraps within the window. As soon as I put the cursor in the window, the text automatically loses its formatting and goes out of the box. No matter how I resize the window horizontally or vertically it still just goes out of the box. (see screen shot below please)   It makes filling out these sections much more time consuming. Is there a bug fix for this? I'm on a 2024 Macbook Pro/ 64 ram/ 2 TB hard drive/ Sequoia 15.3 iOS.   Thanks for your time I really hope someone have a fix for this! 🙂      

Hi. Attaching a photo of the "issue". When I accidentally move the image while holding the move tool with two fingers, it slightly gets tilted and this compass appears. How do I straighten the image again? Ctrl+Z doesn't do the magic :')  

How do i open closed eyes using photoshop?

The custom spot is lost when importing a Photoshop file with a custom spot channel to Illustrator and exporting again. How can we fix this?

Since the last update, the Crop Tool won't work properly. When I try to crop an image and hit return or the checkmark it reduces the image to a tiny image you can't see. If I try to enlarge it, it just shows an enlargement of a tiny area of the image.
