Photoshop

My Image Processor in Bridge stopped working with Photoshop after I uploaded Photoshop 26.3. Can anyone help with that issue? Is it a matter of a corrupt script, or some wrong setting in the Bridge? Photoshop simply reports an error ("cannot open these images"). Thanks.

Hi there. I used Photoshop 2024. I have been paying for Adobe and its apps for years now, and just recently I got a pop-up saying my app is unlicensed and will expire in 10 days if I do not register. I am very confused since I am a paying customer. Is this a bug? Did my payments cancel? I never received a notice if so, and when I log in to Adobe Home, it shows I am a customer. Could someone please assist me?

hi! I need help... I'm sure I hit a button or something but can not figure it out. I'm trying to do a background swap using a layer as I've done many times but when I drag it over the image, the layer shows in the panel but not on the main screen where you would edit. When I click the layer, it then goes blank not showing the picture anymore. I've restarted my computer hoping it would fix the issue but it didn't. I'm on a Mac Pro and using Adobe Photoshop 2024 (See video for full explanation)

Greeting: HiHardware: Mac Studio M2 MaxSoftware: Latest Adobe Suite (Subscription)The Problem: When I install any piece of Adobe Software, Adobe forces me to install a boatload of additional Adobe Apps - (i.e. Cloud Installer, Cloud UnInstaller, Cloud Helper, Creative Cloud Desktop App, Creative Cloud Content Manager, Creative Cloud, Core Sync & CC Troubleshooter etc.) My Issue: All these additional Apps clutter up my internal hard drive, which make it hard for me to stay organized. I'm not clear what these additional apps do, besides what I would assume based on their names, but I don't think I need them and I certainly don't want them cluttering up my hard drive. Attempted Solution: I've  tried uninstalling all these additional apps, but anytime I need to update a piece of software such as Adobe Premiere or Photoshop, it has to reinstall creative cloud and when it does that it automatically installs all these additional apps. A possible solution that make

I created an adjustment layer, and used Fill to turn off the layer and then paint with white to reveal where I want the adjustment.  Now I want to make that correction blend with the adjoining parts of the image.  How can I apply the gradient to the area effected by the adjustment layer only, and not the entire image?  Screenshots 1 and 2 show the adjustment layer turned off, then on.  I want the area at the top portion inside the yellow rectangle to have a smooth transition from light to dark.  Thanks.

I would like to keep the original layer's name when merged with generative fill layer. The original layer names are descriptive of the subject and I would like to keep them that way. How to keep original layer name?

We signed up our daughter to a student account, but unfortunately we entered her email address incorrectly and therefore have not received any of the confirmation/welcome emails.  We also can't contact chat support as it does not recognise the (correct) email that google auto signs in with.  So, we're caught in a loop. Any thoughts as to what can be done, or do we need to contact support when they open?

I'm using Photoshop 23.0.0I've run FX Box's Real Paint FX for awhile now with no problem.  But now when I try to run it I get the error message:Error: Start command queue error: HERSULT error: Not enough memory resources are available to complete theis operation.I've never had this happen before.Any help would be appreciated.

I have brushes in my Photoshop Library that I would like to move into the Brushes tab.  I have tried dragging and copying but they aren't moving.  Does anyone know how to move the brushes out of the Library?

Hello everyone,I have a PSD template that contains:A background image (which I need to replace).Two folders with elements that must stay the same.50 background images stored in a separate folder on my computer (not inside the PSD).I want to automate the process so that Photoshop:Replaces the background with each image from my folder.Keeps the other layers unchanged.Saves each result as a JPG in a new folder.I tried different methods, but nothing works properly. I’ve watched YouTube videos, searched forums, and even asked ChatGPT—but I’m exhausted and still don’t have a clear solution. 😩How can I automate this correctly? A new update dialog has recently started popping up in Photoshop 25.12.1 (MacOS). I'm running an older version of Photoshop by choice. Is there a way to disable this dialog permenately? 

I use Photoshop to edit images, and it almost always consumes a lot of RAM. Many times, the usage goes over 98% of my RAM, causing my computer to slow down significantly. Only when I close Photoshop does the RAM usage return to normal. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Hi all, I am looking to take a text layer that contains an entire paragraph of text and randomize the font for each letter. I know that with the TextItem object you can only change the font for the entire layer. I was wondering if the script would be simple enough to edit to work with an array of fonts rather than colors? Or if there is a way to do this with a different script? 

I teach photography at a private university and am getting really tired of this AI billboard opening OVER files that have just been opened. It's distracting to the students and interupts the teaching process. Being offered the choice of  "try later" or "get started" is a clear manipuation of not being offered a choiceat all. This is not the first time this issue has been talked about. PLEASE stop assuming everyone is enamored with AI and allow the students to be taught by the teachers

Hi there, I have a problem with clipping layers.I have tried to clip the "ADJ" folder to the "IMG" folder, this is something I normally do using Alt+Click between the two folders, when the little arrow facing down shows up. But now, when I click alt and my cursor is located between the two folders, the little arrow doesn't appear and I can't use the clipping function. This happened suddenly, a few weeks ago I was doing it. What could have gone wrong?Thank you in advance.

I'm trying to change from F3F3F3 to FFFFFF on part of an image layer, but it does nothing when using the Color Replacement Tool. What gives?
