Photoshop

...changing the canvas size isn't working.

When I export a JPG file (using RGB) in Photoshop and illustrator, the image's colors become faded. I have checked my color settings and confirmed that I am using sRGB and have enabled Embed Color Profile. I also tried viewing the exported file in different image viewers, but the colors still appear incorrect. Could anyone help me solve this issue? Photoshop Version: 26.3Illustrator Version: 29.2.1System: Windows 11 

Photoshop 26.3.0Lightroom 14.1.1 I just installed Mac OS sequoia 15.3 and my Photoshop and Lightroom prints are off center.  I had been printing on the previous OS and everything was fine. All the images were perfectly centered. Right after the installation of the new OS, the prints are now off by about half an inch to one side.I printed the same image from Apple's PREVIEW application, and the image was perfectly centered.  So the issue is definitely with Photoshop and Lightroom with Sequoia.  I hope this will be solved a.s.a.p.

Can someone help me? When i open the raw files on the Lightroom on iPad it works but not on the Photoshop. Already updated the the iPad OS and Photoshop to the latest version. It shows "Could not open "DSC*****" because the file-format module cannot parse the file.I also tried using the raw files taken from Sony A7IV but with the software version 1.00 the Photoshop on my iPad can read the raw. My current software version on my Sony A7IV is Version 4.00.

For about half a year now, I've been having this problem in Photoshop where I can't see all the tools when I open it. It's been happening since the last three Photoshop updates. It always happens when I open Photoshop after editing an image from InDesign. But it's not uncommon for me to not see all the tools even when I open Photoshop directly. Do you know what causes this? Has anyone else encountered this?

I'm using photoshop for work and I've encountered an issue.Generative fill is more than necessary for me to be efficient but this morning, a message that I've never had:"You dont have generative fill credits left, upgrade to continue using generative fill"And in fact, when checking in cc, im out of the montlhy 700 credits that i have.Am i supposed to upgrade plan? I thought that even going over that limit, you could generate , but slower.Using a different version doesn't work.

I've been a lifelong user of the creative suite as a hobbyist, using it since Photoshop 7.0, and have had to teach myself everything I know through trial and error. I'm sure many of us are in this exact situation. We are all aware of Adobe's brand reputation at this point, but the overwhelming dominance Adobe's products have make transitioning to anything else nearly impossible - not to mention the hurdle of having to re-learn everything just to navigate a different program. So low and behold my surprise when so far as 2022 (if my memory serves), Adobe began the process of removing 3D tools from Photoshop altogether.Now, I understand the reasoning behind this, it's well-documented at this point. The tools were based on an old OpenGL platform that is beginning to cause issues with newer operating systems. Adobe's transition to different APIs requires changes to several programs in its product lineup. I'm not insane, this is an important change to make. However, my outrage came into play

I have this script that someone shared with me a while ago to add guides to a selection, but when working with artboards, it creates document guides, not artboard guides. Created a simple 1 px wide dashed line with the line tool results in "dashes" that are offset. They also have gray in between each dash, where it should be white.  I reset the line tool by selecting the tool, using the dropdowncaret, choosing the cog, and "reset tool".  Using the latest 26.3.0 auto-updated from the CC cloud.  In the image, the vertical line started as a solid line, and I tried converting it to dashed afterward. The horizontal line was drawn after I made the selection of dashed, entered 16 and 16, and hit okay. 

Why is PSD not showing scripts anymore? They are in the folder but not appearing in UI after latest update??

Hello all, I love how easy Photoshop 7 is to use, more screen space than the newer versions. Today, for the first time ever I ran into this error. Reseting the settings did nothing. Unable to save to anything else per other recommendations. 7.0Win10 All my photos were taken today with my fairly new S24+, and not one could I open and save, lost all my work to submit my Math test within the next 2 hours!I have had Webp Converter for awhile now, and had only used it to convert .webp files to jepgs for me to use in Photoshop 7.  After the only solution that would work I saw was taking a screenshot and then opening a new file and posting, I opened Webp Converter and it has a nice jpeg to webp converter as well. I converted to .webp and then back to .jpg and now all my files work. I will continue to look into new phone jpegs to see why they are causing trouble. Hi All,just an observation after yesterday's PS 2024, 25.0 update ... and might help others / avoid lengthy fiddling around.It updated of course PS and Bridge.After successful installation I tried to open an image from Bridge, as usual.But I get the message: Photoshop.exe cannot be found (in that sense)Solution:Open Bridge  > Preferences > File Type Associations > scroll to Photoshop Document (PSD, etc).What I've discovered was something 'Microsoft picture Viewer' or so (cannot remember exactly)In the dropdown menu it offers "Photoshop", but rather putting that in (which might work just fine?) I chose "Browse" and went to: Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop 2024 > find the Photoshop.exe file and open - which will introduce "Adobe Photoshop 2024 25.0" into the field in Bridge/File Type Association.Problem solved.Hope it helps. Cheers

this random blue outline appeared when i tried adjusting a selection on an empty layer. i got a popup that it couldnt due to it being empty and then this showed up. its not attached to any layer, i can not paint over it, i've tried checking paths and everything and it wont go away. im not sure what to do    

Hi all,As stated in the title, I'm wondering if Photoshop for iPad supports ILCE-7M4 RAW files? I'm getting an error when trying to open one saying that the file-format module couldn't parse the file. I can open RAW files from my Sony A7R3 camera, however, just fine.In Lightroom for iPad, I am able to open the RAW image files just fine; I can even send it to Photoshop from there, but it does not open up in Camera RAW from Photoshop–it just opens as a normal image layer. Thoughts? Thanks, David

For 26 years, I've been teaching Photography, and a good portion of it has included teaching Photoshop/Lightroom. In those years, there have been a multitude of changes, but I am most upset by the 50% price increase for the basic 20GB plan you have had for a number of years for $9.99/month. My students have to pay for these subscriptions, and such a big jump prices them out of the market, making it too hard for me to require them to have it. So allegedly, they can continue the existing subscription, but some are reporting they're still being charged the $15/month fee (which apparently goes up to $20 at theend of this month, which then means 100% increase in pricing!!!!). You also have listed a $9.99 selection for one app, but when you go to the see plans and pricing, it does not show up how to select that one. I have loved introducing the kids to both PS and LR, and now am pretty disheartened by this major change. When I retire, I was planning to continue with the same $10/mo

Hi, I have some video timeline animation cycles that look fine when they play in photoshop 2024. When I rendered, I chose the option for one less frame than the animation. In Quicktime and in google drive, there's a pause before it loops again. How do I get it to play continuously as a mp4?  Thanks! 

Hey everyone,  I got a problem with the smudging tool. Whenever I click on it and when i try to change the Brush to use it, it changes the tool from smudge to brush. And the fingertip doesnt seem to work either, I would like to use a color directly (that isnt on the layer yet) and smudge with it. But it just smudges without the color I picked. Do you have any solutions ?  I posted a video to show you. Thank you !

In my list of programmes in W 10 under Adobe Suite CS4 I have two photoshop cs4 showing (only one of the of each of the others pgrs Soundbooth, Encore etc.) One has 64 bits appended to it and it is the one that once launched will hang on the side of the screen and is unusable. To clear it I can only do it with Task Manager and end the 'process'  Then I can click on the other one and it works well. When I remember which one I have to click on, it's ok. However if I choose one showing on the taskbar (That I used before) It will launch the wrong one!

I'm trying to scale a drawing and use the ruler to get dimensions correct. The ruler numbers are small and my eyes aren't all that great. The font used is a light gray on a dark gray background. I just can't read it.   How do I change the ruler font to something with more contrast. White on black. Larger would also help.   Looked in preferences but couldn't find anything that looked appropriate.    Using MacBook M1.         {Title edited by Moderator}

I am currently considering about in bying an ipad pro in order to process my images. As my main photography is astrophotography I would like to know if it's possible to stack images in this version and if I can blend my frames. If I can't do that, is it possible to export from my desktop version as .tiff files and then continue to mobile version?

Yep, same here 7 years later. Now the delete key doesn't delete unless you command delete. [cursing removed] Make the new feature be the command delete, don't be like apple and change a keystroke that worked for 30 years.

Hi all, i have a problem with my cursor accuracy in photoshop. I am using photoshop elements 2021.I have researched this problem and tried many fixes, including changing the display settings of my monitor, changing to precise cursor settings in photoshop, but my cursor is still not drawing on the correct pixels that i am hovering over! I have attatched a video to demonstrate, any help is much appreciated as this is very frustrating! Thanks!

u can see it here the new adobe photoshop 2024 cc is not supporting these fonts . Is there any solution to this problem.
