brush + RMB + ctrl + alt = quickly change color! add mouse wheel to change hue without messing up tint and shade.
> It would be pratical to choose to see the pins and notes directly on the PS or Ai file insead of just being able to see it on the preview link. > Also, It would be extremly practicle if I could select a pin and it will automattacly show me the comments related to that pin. right now it does kind of do that but only if the comment is already visible on the screen. If there are lots of comments and you have to scroll down to find it it won't show if you just click on the pin. > On the comment section, there are only options to delete, replay or mark as resolved. I think it would be nice to have a option to mark it to either color code the pin so that I know the change has been done though I havent updated the preview for the client so I don't want to mark it as done to confuse them because they can't still see the revisions... So maybe if I could Color code the pins to my liking so I know the status of each pin or associate each color to whatever I would like to help
The WebP format is now supported by all major browsers, is a new Web standard, and is much more efficient than PNG or JPG (much lighter and better quality files). Photoshop can export to WebP, but the operation is (unnecessarily) complicated: You have to change the color method, but it could do it automatically when exporting. WebP is not among the options in the "Export" function, you have to use "Save As", but it doesn't always work, then you have to try "Save a Copy". These are all nonsense. Please add full support for WebP format!
I'm a packaging designer that does alot of mockup on round objects. So far I've been using photoshop's own warp tool, but I think it does a poor job to make the warped object look realistic - It's so clumpsy, and it feels like it works against making a natural warp. It takes too much work, even if I try use some of PS's presets. I have to make so many adjustment jsut to get the basic form right, and then the layout will be all distorted. On the contrary, Affinity Designer's warp tool is so easy to use. First, it's a live mesh, making it easy to made adjustment. Then it just warps so cleverly, needing fewer steps and possible distortions. Se the attached scrrenshots where I compare Photoshop with Affinity Designer. In both examples I only use the cornerpoints and I apply no split. The first step is to move the four corners. Affinity easily moves the whole object, whereas Photoshop let some of the object stick to the original place, almost like the middle of the object is glued
Hello! I work in a system where I save images in different folders depending on their purpose. Today, you have to choose the file format for every image you save. I would like to be able to predetermine in Photoshop which format an image should have depending on the file folder in which the image is saved. Eg a file folder for work files in PSB and then a folder for exporting files in e.g. jpeg12. Alternatively, I would like to be able to hide all the file formats that you never use so that you only have a few to choose from when saving. It had saved a lot of time for us who deal with a large flow of images. Etc. Niklas
I've painted in Photoshop for years, some of the innnovations that we've seen are really great. I have a few suggestions for improving the Brush Menu workflow. The main problems and solutions are best described in the attached picture, numbered. But, I've added the following notes to match the numbers. The main issues I found, come down to helping the user delineate between a Brush Preset, the "hero" and its Properties, the hero's "attributes". Hope it helps or inspires!Problems:1. The buttons for opening/navigating to the panels "Brushes" and "Brush Settings" are inconsistent, they have an element of discovery and they don't explain themselves too well.2. The properties that relate to the Brush Tip Shape is not well-housed, it's a bit confusing for Users.3. the Recent Brushes are hard to find and hard to read, so I personally don't use them.4. Given that Brush Settings are a sub-section of Brush Presets, having a button on the Settings menu to create a new Preset, is confusing, a weir
Wherever Photoshop allows for the saving of Presets, can we please be allowed to "Save Over The Existing"?It does seem counter-intuitive that there is no option to do so. Instead, you have to make a new one and then manage your old iterations (ie, delete them), you're left with a trail of redundant presets that you'll have to tidy up after yourself. The issue was originally raised by GordonShock in Discussions, when they were working with Lightroom Presets. I'm speaking from experience working with Brush Presets.
I love Photoshop, I love to paint in Photoshop and to make custom brushes, but the workflow could do with improvement. When I make a completely new Brush Preset, I usually want to 1. create a black-and-white stamp on the canvas and turn it into a new Brush Shape. Then I want to 2. choose some Brush Settings to decide how my new Brush Shape behaves, and test and refine my new custom brush. Then, finally when I'm satisfied, I want to 3. Create a Brush Preset. Please see the attached image for a more illustrated guide of the problems and possible solutions. Thanks!
I think it would be best if we can select the generated fills and tell the AI this is closer to what I prompted but can we regenerate based on these selections. It will help the AI learn more about what we really like.
I have a client where we generated splashes for a photo but the client keeps changing the backdrop without wanting to change the splashes. So, I was wondering it would be really great if we could regenerate the splashes and keep the form but change the backdrop of lighting. If there is a button like that instead of doing another prompt. When we do another prompt, it actually changes the entire image.
Hello. I spend a large amount of time working with flat images that need certain objects detecting and splitting into layers, text removing, and text layer created where the removed text was. I am wondering if this, in 2023, is possible to automate with some kind of AI / plugin. I have access to thousands of flat images and their corresponding split and retouched photoshop files, so no shortage of training data.
i wonder why I cant save tiff format files in creative cloud storage? as a photographer i would be most helpful when i work remote //Anders
LR and PS webapp *really really really really* needs a histogram. Can't believe this hasn't been implemented yet. I've looked everywhere in the menus,...
Can I select color ranges in PS for iPad?
Make Photoshop as simple as Canva. There are many users who use Canva just because Photoshop is too complicated though both Canva and Photoshop have the same purpose there is only a quality difference. You have a huge Market that Canva is Capturing like you need to simplify the process to save time and user efforts. Many people use Canva because it is simple, saves time and effort and you get results that you want but image quality is lacking in it. You have to address your user's pain points that they are facing while using your products. if you didn't your competitor waiting for that opportunity so be careful.
I'm Suggesting a hot key for drawing orthographic lines! or a click and hold feature like procreate? Or some simple perspective grid tools like your competitors.I just want to know if there is a hot key that allows you to use a BRUSH tool WHILE drawing the line as an orthogonal diagonal line? Versus the click-click method-and shotgunning the end point. I teach 240+ college students a year and getting them to use photoshop versus the competition is getting harder and harder without these perspective guides and straight line hot keys. We can all do horizontal and vertical while drawing just find holding a hot key, but not orthographic lines, not without shotgunning a click and click feature or rotating the screen..AND Not with the line tool. I know that already exists but that causes a change of tools and workflow..I just want to know if this feature exists or will exist….you’re losing valuable students to other platforms & it's hard to stop them. With all your new fancy A
I saw this image today, and thought what if Generative Fill could be combined with Perspective Warp to generate a face that was hidden in the original image, but revealed when using Perspective Warp. It would need to identify the object, and automatically render it in 3D, then apply the Ai generated face using the new perspective. It might also need to hide facets that would no longer be visible in the new perspective like part of the vehicle windscreens below (assuming the vehicles were rotated to a viewed from underneath perspective. Is that a crazy idea? This time last year we'd have most of use said that Firefly and Generative Fill were crazy concepts, and here we are.
The Mirror Symmetry Filter should be a separate filter! It is really neat@!
I love me some data sets. They are great for a data-driven workflow. For a small amount of graphics, using visibility variables is fine in your template. You simply use LINKED images for these graphic design elements. When you have LOTS of different images, the PIXEL REPLACEMENT allows you to path to say, individual photos, but the resultant PSDs you export out from your template have those images embedded. It would be a quality of life improvement it there was a simple CHECKBOX under PIXEL REPLACEMENT to bring the pathed image in as a LINKED image. Why is this of benefit? If I update a LINKED photo, I could just load the PSD and update it there. WIth the current PIXEL embeds, I have to go through the template and re-export the data set. This adds additional benefit if you have started to do individual edits on your DATA SET psds. Re-exporting your DATA SET just to update a PIXEL REPLACEMENT would over-write your one-off changes on that PSD.I know that gets into some phi
Eine gute Idee, aber wäre noch besser, mit einer Filterebene.
In the "save for web" dialogue box, can you add a check box to add the pixel dimensions to the end of the file name? That would be really concenient in 2 ways: I don't have to add the size and I can check to make sure my file is the correct size.
In the export dialogue box, add a field where I can enter the maximum file size and it adjusts the compression accordingly. Most of my work is for web and mobile. I have constraints on file size/weight. I often have to keep adjusting the compression to meet the requirements. Sometimes when I export the file it's still not the correct size and I have to do it again.
The new customizable toolbar in Photoshop CC 2015.1 is a great addition. It would be even better if we could add separator lines. Earlier versions of Photoshop had them, and it helped make the toolbar easier to parse.
I would really like to draw in this mode! The same is possible in blur mode.. It would be cool!!!!!!
Hello:More and more applications use commas instead of semicolons to detect keywords. For example, in Woocommerce in the tag section you have to paste tags separated with commas so you cannot paste keywords from the Photoshop info tab because those are separated by semicolons. Use commas, or at least let us in the preference field to choose commas as the method of choice to separate keywords.
