Someone may have suggested this already:Could the General Photoshop Settings add a section for what you want your Library to do? It is regarding copying and pasting items into Photoshop from another application, and the pop-up window is auto-checked to be added to the user's library. I suggest adding an option in General Settings that allows the individual to choose whether they want pasted items to be auto-saved in a library. When the general settings are adjusted in Photoshop and there is an update, it seems like the newer version tends to remember the general settings previously selected over panel selections. It would save time and allow familiar panels to remember what the individual already selected vs. the frustration of remembering to uncheck it after an update. I am not suggesting removing the checkbox in that pop-up window when pasting. Just making it a setting option that updates will remember being marked as to auto-save in a library or not. Thank you for your consideration
Hi allI'd love to see a HEx field box in the floating colour RGB slider palletThey have added it to the RGB pallet in Illustrator and I'd lov eto see it in Photoshop Thanks!DavidB photoshop doesnt have one Illustrator has one
I would like to edit the quick actions. For example, I used Alias. The pixels were larger than I would have liked, so being able to edit the pixel size would have been awesome.
The sliders are so tiny I misclick them a ton! I wish there were a way to make them thicker. Currently, you can only make them longer.
Hi Photoshop Beta Team. Thank you for all your hard work and improving and evolving the product.I've been using Adobe for a while now and have been keeping an eye on the community (not just the official Adobe community, but other community sites like reddit, facebook, discord, and blogs). And I don't know if this is actually possible, but I would like to suggest one thing. Can you give users more control over the "performance" aspects of Photoshop? Well... when I say this, I'm not just talking about things like setting RAM quotas, enabling/disabling some features. For example, those of us who have been using Photoshop for a while already feel it. that it's gotten a lot heavier.(Of course, Photoshop 2023 feels more optimized than 2022 and 2021.) However, I think the golden age of Photoshop performance optimization ended with version 2015.5, then 2018-2019, and finally 21.0.3.Opinions may vary on this, as some newer versions are better for certain tasks (Export).
I like the interface of photoshop - WIMP
I don't know if this is possible. But I've always wanted it to be possible for 10 years.Let's take an example. Folder -- Main Top folderFolder1 , Folder2 -- Subfolder1~.jpg, ~jpg , ~jpg, ~jpg -- Image files in each folder To open an image in Photoshop, you have to go into the folder, select several images yourself, and drag them to Photoshop to open them. But I hope there's a possibility that if you drag the entire folder here, the images in the subfolder can open automatically. If it's a complicated Sub2 folder structure under Sub1, it would be nice if the images in it would automatically open when you drag even one folder. Yeah, it's not a big deal. It's not that uncomfortable. But it's a function that would be quite comfortable with it.
Hi friends! I'd like to respectfully petition Photoshop's developers to implement user-assignable shortcut keys for timeline playback. Animation functionality has existed in Photoshop for years; many of its users, including professional animators using Photoshop, have lamented the overlapping usage of space bar as the hard coded shortcut keys for timeline playback and panning the canvas. Photoshop devs - kindly, please add an item in the shortcut keys menu to assign custom a hotkey to playback.
I would like the ability to remove lens flare, ghosting, white lines, etc. unintentionally appearing in a photo automatically, or to remove lens flare in selected areas. This function should also be removed when flares appear in front of people in group photos.
Hi, not sure if this feature has been asked for yet, but I am a real estate photographer and also photo editor. First off, I just wanted to say, I really like the sky replacement tool, it saved my b** multiple times on rainy and cloudy days.I was wondering if you can create a similar type of AI enabled tool, but this tool looks for interior windows and automatically masks the inside area of all window frames. Please see the screenshot below for an idea.
When the Brush tool is active, we press Alt, the Eyedropper tool appears and we can pick up a color. Then release the button and continue painting with the Brush. Super handy. BUT! We don't see the settings — is it a point sample? 3х3, 5х5, 11х11, etc.? So, we have to either remember or check it beforehand. Not user-friendly at all! It becomes easier to just select the Eyedropper tool to see its settings than to use the quick Alt switching. My suggestion is to show all the Eyedropper tool settings when the Brush is active and the Alt key is held down.
It would be great to have a unique symbol for each the Healing Brush and the Spot Healing Brush Tool to be able to recognize immediately which one has been selected when toggling tools via shortcut J (compare Patch Tool etc). This way checking the toolbar could be spared.
When I use Spot Healing Brush, and it doesn't do the job well, I want to quickly switch to other tool - Healing Brush (the one with a possibility to select source wit an ALT key). In such a situation, I always press the ALT key, which is associated with selecting the source for the Healing Brush, but it doesn't work because I have the Spot Healing Brush tool active. Maybe Photoshop can be smart enough to know that when I use Spot Healing Brush and I press the ALT key, it means that I want to select a source for my Healing Brush. Then I would not have to switch between tools and two options will be agregated in one tool.
When dealing with visual effects, we reference frame numbers more than TC. Let's add "source frame" to the overlay options to quickly see what your source frame number is.
I just need it to work on 4 channels . Couldn't care less of the CMYK itself
Summary of requested features > One Link Send and Share - No Access Request From Recipient after invite is recieved. > No logging out of file for others to work on it. > Share Full Files to edit ( invite to edit ) from your phone to any email When you share access to YOUR TEAM - for them to take over and edit. Your recipient should not have to request access. WHEN I SEND A LINK ( For My Team ) TO WORK ON THE FILE. "THAT" SHOULD BE GIVING YOU ACCESS. It's like inviting some one to a party with an invitatation..., and then they call you and say... well, are you sure I can go, your sure? There should be a way to turn this security feature off, I hate it. It's literally like locking the thing up. When I send something off, I expect people to get right to work. Instead, I have to wait around for them to request access... meanwhile, I've moved on to do other things, meetings, phone calls... fight vampires, save the world. &
Please include a Legacy-Version of the Font list (the List you can choose your fonts from in the Typography/Character-Window). The current state of the list (it is like that since a couple of years) is impractical when it comes to typography exploration. I always have to learn this the hard way. The way you have to pick fonts right now competes with an efficient workflow. In an older version, you could go through the font list via arrow keys on your keyboard (or use your mouse and scroll down; whatever you prefer). You duplicated the textbox, when you found a matching font for your project and proceed exploring - starting from the last font where you stopped in its original position on the alphabet. So, you found a font which starts with the letter »N« for example, and after duplicating and going down the list further, it kept proceeding with the last font you've chosen in the exact position on the list (N ... O ... P .... Q ....... Z) How the font list works right now i
I know that this is a unique feature of Camera RAW. But it would be nice if it could be implemented in Photoshop. Of course, this feature does not provide very accurate masking, but I think it will be more effective when you use a brush to create a smooth layer mask in Quick Mask.
Many times, there is a suggestion in the forum to have a user reset the preferences, as it is known to cure many issues. Unfortunately, it sometimes does not work, and the user has to recreate them manually. In addition, the preferences file, once deleted, is not available for troubleshooting by the Ps team. (in the forum, I now suggest the manual method of copying the folder to the desktop to keep a copy. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually thanks to a post by @J453 ) I think that it would be beneficial to every user if the reset preferences function, either by shortcut, or via the preferences, would instead zip the existing preferences folder (or maybe just suffix it with "old" (or the beloved "legacy" term used all over the app.) In addition, it could also include the system information text. This way, it would be possible to troubleshoot preferences and have system information in one go, and the user would be able to revert th
Many issues can be cured by a reset of the preferences, that can be damaged during an improper shutdown, and I was wondering if there was no way to harden them: If there is none already, could there be some form of error-checking done at shutdown, or at regular intervals during use? Another safety mechanism might be to save the prefences file to a backup state at boot, and work on a copy of those? This way, the user with prefences issues could either roll back to previous, continue with current preferences, or use the default ones/reset them. As an alternative, could we have a mechanism to export working known preferences using the import export preset mechanism?
I very rarely use my iPad Pro to edit… So I'm not that familiar with it... Where is the sky replacement tool located? I do not see an edit button.
I've been using a screen capture software called ShareX and it's absolutely brilliant. Images, short videos, progammable hotkeys to capture a certain screen or region, and plenty of basic editing tools for blurring and drawing on screenshots before taking them. I often have to take a screenshot of a very exact area, such as 64x64 pixels. But my hands are shaky and using the mouse for such a precise operation is difficult. However by pressing the arrow keys, I can bump the cursor by one pixel both before making my selection, and also while holding down the mouse during the selection. I know Photoshop area selection has the Style: Normal, Fixed Size, Fixed Ratio. I also know that I can just zoom in really close for precise pixel operations. But after using ShareX for so long, my muscle memory has ruined me. I often find myself using the selection box in Photoshop and being confused when the arrow keys don't do anything. Here's a video of it in action- And here's the ti
I just love the quick selection tool in Photoshop. Since I started using it I have gone over my entire collection of images going back to the 1960's. The one frustrating feature of this tool is that it automatically switches from adding pixels to my selection to removing pixels. This feature of this marvelous tool breaks my rhythm.I WANT TO BE IN COMPLETE CONTROL. Is there a way to stop this automatic switching?I am using Photoshop 2023 with OS Monteray12.6.3
Everytime we want to adjust the color of a layer, we have to add a dozen of layers for each of 'color saturation', 'color contrast ratio', 'color curve'... But if we can have all the adjustment options in one layers with different slider block which we could choose what we want to change, it will be space-saving and time-saving.
