In Photoshop BETA the on device remove tool is not using GPU, and although it starts using vRAM it than start using RAM and CPU for a long time.It does "work”, no errors, but can take minutes.Using Photoshop on same PC same picture it works great, faster as cloud.is this something in the configuration, or reload / reinit required to repair ?

I am experiencing a color management issue in Photoshop Beta 27.9.0 after the latest update.Since updating, images are displayed without the correct Color Proof preview by default. The images appear significantly too bright compared to the expected proofed view. I have to manually enable View → Proof Colors every time to get the correct color appearance.Interestingly, if I disable the Graphics Processor in Photoshop preferences, the behavior returns to normal and the correct proofing appearance is shown immediately, as it was before the update.System configuration:MacBook Pro M4 (2025) macOS 26.5.2 Photoshop Beta 27.9.0 Two Apple Studio Displays 27” (recent models) Display profile: Apple Display (P3-600 nits)Problem details:No changes were made to macOS display settings. No changes were made to Photoshop color settings or color profile settings. The issue occurs with standard RGB 8-bit images from different sources: iPhone photos Android phone photos Canon camera files The problem i
27.10.0 m.3610Edit > Generative Fill is greyed out when full canvas is selected (Ctrl A)I can use Generative Fill from the Contextual Toolbar with the same selection. If I contract the selection by even just 1 pixel (with Canvas Bounds checked) I can then use Edit > Generative Fill. The release version does not behave this way.I don’t think it is relevant, because the release version is working as expected, but I install Configurator Reloaded last night. Configurator Reloaded is there in both release and Beta versions. The F4 shortcut is custom btw.
Hi All,I've tried dozens of ways to add new eyes to a male ballet dancer's face with generative fill and no matter what I try a message pops up telling me I am violating the guidelines. I'm at my wits end. I'll list what I've tried below and upload some images. Does anybody have a 'workaround' or solution I haven't already tried? I'd really appreciate any input! Thanks so much! Things I've Attempted to Stop Generative Fill from blocking Results:Updating Photoshop BetaCleaning all temporary files and cookies from my drive and restaring both my laptop and PSBetaMaking my selection area smallerPutting a period in the prompt boxBlacking out/covering almost all the bare skin in the image before using Gen FillUsing several prompt wordings: 'The eyes of the man' 'The eyes of the model' 'The model's eyes and eyebrows' Etc.Using 3 different reference imagesUsing no reference imageUsing a reference image and no promptUsing a prompt and no referen
I downloaded the latest version of Photoshop beta and it worked perfectly at first, but after a few edits if I use the camera raw filter and then revert the image to Photoshop the image is badly bleached out. I reverted and downloaded the previous version of Beta, which had worked perfectly before, but now the problem happens with that version as well! If anyone has an idea how to solve this problem I’d be very grateful.
Most recent PS Beta 27.10 seems completely broken on my mac studio M2 Ultra 128Gb Ram( OSX 26.5.1 )all images that I open look completely washed out- They look good in all other apps ( including release version of PS ) No problems at all yesterday with previous Beta version
Suddenly I can’t open photoshop beta anymore. What should I do?
I'm assuming from my searching around that the icons circled in the attached image can't be removed. In the event that I'm wrong, how would I remove some or all of them? The Features To Review icon almost completely obscures the color selector for Text and it's awkward to aim for sometimes.
Product: Photoshop Beta 27.9.0 (and previous version)OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2 26200.8655If the image is in Greyscale Mode, choosing the Selection Brush shows a circular selection brush as expected, but holding down the mouse button doesn’t select anything - no pink overlay is shown, nothing is selected. Switching to the Marquee Tool confirms that nothing was actually selected (there is no selected area). Converting the image to RGB and using Selection Brush works properly. Convert it back to Greyscale and it’s broken again. This has been working fine for years but broke about a week ago (at least one previous beta version). It still works correctly in Photoshop Mainline 27.8.0.
Hello Beta Testers,We're thrilled to inform you about a brand-new feature in Photoshop Beta. We're calling it Distraction Removal, it's part of the Remove Tool, and we can't wait for you to try it out.Distraction Removal, in the July 2024 release of Photoshop Beta, is designed to detect and select the unexpected background (or foreground) people in your image and ready them for removal. To start using Distraction Removal: Update Photoshop (Beta). Make sure you have the latest version installed. Choose the Remove Tool: It lives in the Tool Bar in the same well as Spot Healing brush Click on the "Find people in background" button in the Options Bar. Detected distractions targeted for removal will be highlighted. Add to or subtract from the area if desired, by brushing over the canvas after selecting the + or - buttons from the Options bar. Press Enter/Return on your keyboard or click the Apply checkmark in the options bar. Share Your Feedback: Let us know what you
This has been annoying me for ages, and I have spent a fair bit of time trying to resolve it.I like to use the modern New Document panel but it insists on parking itself way over on the left of my left (of three) screens.I obviously have Use Legacy New Document Interface unchecked.I’ve reset preferences.Tried different workspaces including Essentials (default) with everything on a single screen. It only does this with the Beta version. The Release version works fine. I’ve reset AppData \ Roaming \ Adobe \ CCX Welcome to CCX Welcome.old as per a suggestion in Google’s Ai summarizerI’ve replaced all of the beta workspace .psp files with the same files from the release version.I am reluctant to try doing the same with the preferences file because who knows what differences there between the versions? I’ve looked through and compared the Preferences and can’t see anything obviously different between them.OK, I have now tried replacing the beta preferences with the release preferences. It
I installed Photoshop beta on Windows 10, which I regret insofar that all my file types are now hijacked by Beta. All my Photoshop files are now associated with beta. When I click any PSD file, beta opens. I cannot change file association in Windows 10, as Windows doesnt "see" regular Photoshop and wants to open the Windows App Store (for all other filetypes besides PSD normally associated with Photoshop).Any ideas how I can have Beta installed without this Photoshop filetype nightmare?
“Export As” preview super smallHi! I am on a HDTV monitor with hdmi connection. The preview image does not expand as it does in the regular Photoshop. Choosing the plus % button brings the image closer, but does not expand the image container. Note I don’t have this problem in the non-beta Photoshop. installed the beta about 3 days ago.
I have updated to v27.8 and now I CAN’T use Photoshop (Imac 2017-Ventura v13) now im trying to find the latest version that worked on my computer (v27.7) and I cannot find it (yes I’ve done the “lastest versions” thing on the creative cloud app and it doesn’t work either! Where can I download it and install it “manually”?? Thanks
This seems to be a re-occuring bug, basically when linking a PDF document, it will sometimes permanently delete every page after the first in the original linked document outside of photoshop. This means losing an edited PDF and having to redo a lot of work. No fix has been found for this, and attempting to reopen the document outside of Photoshop shows only the first page of a multi page PDF.
Whatever has taken place of "Actions" is much less useful. Steps aren't visible nor are the controls at the bottom. Apparently the normal Actions is now considered "Classic Actions" and is hidden behind an obscure menu item which I wouldn't have found on my own. If we must have whatever this new thing is, make it a fully separate item. They seem to be for a different audience and it's just confusing for people who rely on Actions.

Cordiales saludos Gerardo
I keep getting this prompt"There is not enough memory for the allocation of the image buffer" when trying to apply a parametric filter even after deleting and re-downloading.
Since the most recent update to Photoshop beta (ver: 20250504.m.3064) I get the following error that prevents the application from launching:"Catch in IPhotoshopApplication, exception encountered: create_directories: Access is denied.: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\PINF" "The standard version of Photoshop (26.6.0) continues to work properly, however. This problem only affects the beta version. Are there any reports about why this error is occurring in the beta version?I am running Photoshop on Windows 10 64 bit Professional (10.0.19045 Build 19045), 32GB RAM, Xeon W-2123 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, Samsung SSD 870 EVO 4TB.
As above. My Samsung Tab S9 Ultra has higher spec than my phone (S23 Ultra) but I still can't get access to the app. It's absolutely bizarre that you are restricting it to small screen devices only!
What happened to the Recent Files window in Photoshop Beta?Normally, hovering the mouse cursor over a file name would display the file path, allowing you to easily locate it in its directory on your PC.But since the last update, it simply shows "On this computer." It doesn't give you any option to see its physical location.I already know it's on my computer. But I want to know which directory. Is there any way to recover that context menu where hovering over a file would show its physical location? Is there any way to reactivate it? Now I can no longer find out which physical folder the file is in. The option of opening the file and saving it later doesn't work for me, because sometimes the link path is broken (when the file is moved from a folder outside of Photoshop), and then it's no longer possible to recover it because the file disappears from the list immediately. Photoshop deletes the file immediately without giving you any other option. It also doesn't give you the option to acce
Why are no changes visible on the image when using the 'Block Touch' curves option in Adobe Photoshop version 27.9.0?
